Now that we're closer to switching to P3 for good, these helpers have
outlived their usefulness, and mostly add noise.
All remaining dict.iter*() or dict.view*() must be converted to the
normal keys(), values() or items() calls.
Whenever the result is likely to be used for more than the scope of a
loop, or when the dict needs to be modified during iteration, the calls
must be wrapped in a ``list()``, to protect the new P3 semantics.
Those cases are very exceptional.
Also removed some dead code or improved the API to remove unnecessary
conversions.
* remove references to basestring & unicode (use relevant pycompat
helpers)
* remove some str calls (either entirely or replaced by relevant
helper, either text or native)
* use better API to avoid unnecessary conversions
* remove some XML declarations in views
* StringIO removed from stdlib, replace with io
* try to correctly handle BytesIO/StringIO (one is for bytes the other
is for text)
* fix base64: Python 3 removed bytes-encoding and bytes-bytes
codecs (via #encode) so replace all calls to str.encode('base64'),
also b64encode is a bytes->bytes conversion so attempt to properly
handle that
issue #8530
To reproduce:
- Go Website Admin > Configuration > Settings
- Change the Website Name
- Click on 'Cancel'
The name is saved.
When the "Cancel" button is clicked, we automatically save the record
(which is a transient model). Since the field is a related to the
company, the name is changed even if we canceled.

Before this commit, the view selected to be edited by the html editor was the wrong one
This was caused by the simplification brought about by commit a2ae219d4e
which transfered from python to js the decision to make a view a header for the [customize] menu (on the website
In this case, the first view in the return list of python was the header, and the second the actual view
Now that python just sends a list of unique views without any distinction whatsoever, the right view to pick when entering the html editor is the first one, at index 0

Closes#18643
When clicking on the app website admin with the arabic language,
it raised an error because this.date_from.format('YYYY-MM-DD') in
function fetch_data returned an arabic date "٢٠١٧-٠٧-٠٥".

Uppercase style shouldn't be applied to all btns by default.
The usage should be set progressively, following an importance criteria.
If we design everything as important (uppercase), nothing will be
perceived as important anymore.
When you receive an url with parameters
* auth_signup_token: uuid
* auth_login: login
those will be stored in the session and used
* when the user will want to sign up in order to be linked to the right
partner;
* when he logs in so he's sure to log in with the right account +
autofill is nice
This commit only adds the support, future commits will support its use.
This commit duplicates the General settings' User Signup options in
the Website configuration, with a clear description of the options.
We also remove the unnecessary usage of safe_eval in auth_signup's
res_config.py. As stored values are repr values of a boolean field
just comparing the string values is sufficient. There is no need to
use safe_eval as it should be used only when necessary.
It is for example useful in the form builder with date-kind form field,
the translation of momentjs is done in french.

closes#17103
based on v10 terms and saas-15
add the new languages
Much noise due to the different softwares that do not indent the terms the same
way. Merged the po files with --no-wrap option which makes long lines.
