Instead of checking the size of text only node, let the xml_translate verify it.
The size verification using etree was introduced at 40efdccc3d but was
probably too simple.
Since 45352512a8, this becomes redundant with the nonspace method which can
be extended.
The re.sub is still relevant as some terms may contain only non-alphanumeric and
use push_translation (e.g. '>=' as a selection or xml terms extracted by babel
in static repository)

Currently name_search on res_partner holds code to be done by a customized SQL
query allowing to speedup the search [1]. However when dealing with given args
there may be a crash if there is a domain based on user_ids fields.
Indeed this field is defined as auto_join [2]. It means the result of get_sql
returns where parameters based on joined tables. Those tables are not available
in the from clause in the original query.
This commit fixes that issue by correctly taking the from_clause from get_sql.
That way joined tables are available. Small update of the query is necessary
as fields are now res_partner.{id/email/vat/reference} as there may be several
tables linked in the query.
A test has been added to avoid regression.

and implementation of this query, even if it exists since a looooong time

During the installation of a module, an IntegrityError can be raised,
e.g. if some module data already exists in the database
(as in the case of a module which uninstallation did not remove its data).
In Python2 it was possible to use such a psycopg2.IntegrityError with i[0]
to get its error message, while this raises an exception in Python3,
i.args[0] is needed.
As a result the log would contain an exception within an exception instead of
displaying an error to the user.

The definition of `attachment_ids` on model `email_template.preview` is wrong,
because its table/columns refer to the model `mail.template`. As the field is
only used to preview a result in a wizard form, it does not need to be stored.

Modifying a source term in an XML/HTML translated field can lose translations
if the same term is translated in several languages.

The other methods do test password length before verifying it, so even
if check_credentials() is not meant to be called directly, it's better
to keep it consistent with the alternatives.

On a record with a large x2many, the web client does not load all the data of
the lines (because of paging). If a line is modified by an onchange, at some
point the client will determine whether lines are valid (all required fields
are provided). It is possible that the client cannot evaluate the validity of
the modified line because of missing fields. In order to avoid this situaion,
the server sends all fields on modified lines.
Consider a many2one field `foo_id` on model `bar`, with an inverse one2many
field `bar_ids` on model `foo`. During an onchange, the statement
bar.foo_id = foo
puts a special value in cache to add `bar` to the value of `foo.bar_ids`
without explicitly reading `foo.bar_ids`.
Executing the above statement a second time, the cache of `foo.bar_ids` is no
longer empty. This causes the actual value of `foo.bar_ids` to be read and
updated. The issue is that this can be slow for large values of `foo.bar_ids`.
Avoid reading the value of the one2many field by handling the case where the
cache contains the special value: simply update the special value to take into
account the second assignment.

- This commit fixes a crash that happens when the server receive a
JSON-P call done in two requests (a POST followed by a GET).
The issue is due to the fact that when the first request is done (POST
one) the member `params` is never initialized.
This parameter is then used in the module `auth_signup` on an override
of the method `dispatch` thus crashing the code.
To avoid the crash, we now initialize `params`.

The adaptation to Python 3 was done with two mistakes: the iteration on the lru

Implement the getter method in plain SQL. This makes reading company-dependent
fields 33% faster (on 20000 partners, reading 'property_product_pricelist'
takes 3700ms instead of 5500ms.)
