- Impacted modules:
- sale_service (new module - installed only if sale
AND (project OR planning) are installed)
- sale
- sale_project
- Description: When looking for a SOL in services apps, the displayed
name is of the form "SO ref - SOL name - unit price (partner
ref/name)". The presence of some of those elements may vary:
- unit price is only displayed if it allows to clarify an
ambiguity (i.e. two SOL with identical name but different unit
price in the same SO).
- partner name is only used if the partner ref does not exist.
- partner name/ref is hidden in the name of planning slots to avoid
duplicates.
- Implementation: The behavior currently existing in sale needed to be
extended for services apps. This has been done with the following
changes:
- sale:
- sale.order.line: Current behavior for the name_get (display
partner ref) has been extended (display parnter name if has no
ref) and split a additional method that is extended in a new
module called..
- .. sale_service:
- sale.order.line: The additional behavior is extended to
display the unit price of the SOL when it avoids ambiguity. A
context parameter is used to keep this behavior inside
services apps.
task-3052812
Part-of: odoo/odoo#105470
This commit introduces "Sub-task", a concept remotely similar to
the "delegated tasks" available in version 7.0, but covering a
more specific and narrow scope.
Activating Sub-tasks
--------------------
Sub-tasks are made available within any project by configuring
a "sub-task project" in the project settings. This feature is
considered low-level and technical, and only accessible with
"Technical Features" enabled.
The "sub-task project" may be the project itself.
Using Sub-tasks
---------------
Conceptually, a sub-task represents the allocation of a part
of the scope of its parent task. Multiple sub-task levels
are possible.
Once activated in project settings, a new "Sub-tasks" smart button
will appear on the task form, giving the option to view and
create sub-tasks. In addition, a new field "Sub-tasks Hours" will
appear next to the other computed "Hours" fields, representing
the total hours allocated to sub-tasks.
(Technically, the sum of the maximum between the planned hours
and spent hours of all sub-tasks, with spent hours always used
when a task is closed)
These sub-task hours will be dynamically subtracted from the
remaining hours of the task, and will therefore affect the
task's progress as well.
Upon creation, a sub-task will inherit the link to the
original sales order and procurement from its parent task, and
will by default be assigned to the "sub-task project" set on
the project of the parent task.
Enhancement
-----------
The kanban view for tasks will now display a color-coded label
with the number of remaining hours, whenever the percentage
of remaining hours is below 20% (orange=20%-, red=1%-).
Note: This is a forward port of the commit 9eac32beea
* Since the last timesheets refactoring, timesheet entries are always linked to a project, and sale_service had the same dependencies as sale_timesheet.
* This commit simplifies the modules hierarchy by merging two modules that have a close functionality and that were both always installed after timesheets and sales.

- Hide account_id field and add a required project_id field on timesheet entries
- Remove is_timesheet field: as project_id is only required for timesheet entries and not for other analytic lines, it can be used to determine wether a line is a timeheet entry or not.
- Remove project_timesheet module as all its functionalities are moved to hr_timesheet
- Replace timesheets on contract option on products by timesheets on project
- Small fixes and improvements in timesheets and projects views and groups

Removed corresponding binaries.
Removed all Bill of Materials demo data, that were ridiculous and replace them by 2 bom: A complete
computer, and a kit computer. Rewritten the tests accordingly.
Fixed tests :
- sale_mrp/test/cancellation_propagated.yml : The yaml ref function return a id, not a dictionnary
- sale_stock/tests/test_sale_stock.py : The service product invoiced on the delivered quantity was
in fact not invoiced on delivery on the test. As we are in sale_stock, Without timesheet, we
manually set the delivered qty for the product serv_del. If we don't do this, the invoice will
never be fully invoiced.
- The pricelist rules choice is not based on the sequence anymore (Seems to be a bug, reported to
online). By the way, I changed the product to avoid the overlap.
- sale_mrp/test/sale_mrp.yml: The yaml ref function return a id, not a dictionnary
- mrp : Rewritten the tests to be coherent with the new bom data
