The dictionary `_group_by_full` is replaced by a field parameter `group_expand`
that is assigned to the method name. The API of the method has been simplified
as well:
@api.multi
def _read_group_stage_ids(self, domain, read_group_order=None, access_rights_uid=None):
# the stages are given by self.ids (wrong model);
# read_group_order is the order given to read_group() on self;
# return stages.name_get(), {stage.id: stage.fold)
_group_by_full = {'stage_id': _read_group_stage_ids}
is now written:
stage_id = fields.Many2one(..., group_expand='_read_group_stage_ids')
@api.model
def _read_group_stage_ids(self, stages, domain, order):
# stages is a recordset;
# order is the order to use on stages' model;
# return a recordset which is a superset of stages
Uncheck use tasks and/or use issues and/or allow timesheets
all links are still available from the kanban
timesheet is available from the form view
tasks and issues hidden in the form view
NB: allow_timesheets was defined in timesheet_grid, but it should be standard in hr_timesheet
Several modules defines records with the external ID `base.foo_bar` while it is
created inside this module (typically menus and groups).
While there is no technical reasons to do so but this may introduce issues:
- these records will not be deleted during uninstall
- if a language is loaded before the installation of the module, it won't be
translated
The uninstallation will only remove the records with an external id linked to
this module (these would only be removed when removing base).
Installing a language before the module will drop the translations not linked
to an existing external id (as it can not be resolved).
This commit correct all the external ids tagged as from base or other incorrect
modules.

Purpose
=======
The company form should be heavily simplified. It's complex to have some settings on the company form, and others on the Settings menu of the related app. It would be much easier to have all settings in Settings menu (res.config) and nothing on the company, even if some of the Settings are multi company. (Stored on the company but set from the Settings menu).
This report is too advanced and/or complex to be a single menuitem. Furthermore the model was a mess and a horn of plenty for bugs.
The class ProjectTaskHistoryCumulative inherits from the class ProjectTaskHistory, and create a view based on the same model.The orginal class defines a compute field 'end_date' which calls a compute method '_compute_end_date' that will either make a simple assignment or a SQL request if the columns is always opened or folded.
As ProjectTaskHistoryCumulative is declare with '_auto=False' the compute method will try to write on this table, which is obviously wrong because we are trying to write on a view.
This leads to erors when trying to edit a project stage like:
OperationalError: cannot update view "project_task_history_cumulative"
DETAIL: Views that do not select from a single table or view are not automatically updatable.
HINT: To enable updating the view, provide an INSTEAD OF UPDATE trigger or an unconditional ON UPDATE DO INSTEAD rule.
or when trying to delete a column which already contains some tasks.
So we removed this these models and view and replaced them by a simple favorite filter in the Tasks Reports
This commit remove required alias on res.users model. It also removes the
inheritance of mail.alias.mixin. The field alias_id is kept and allow people
to use aliases on users if they want. However there is no default void alias
created for each user anymore.
Default from of mail.message does not use user alias anymore. Indeed this
creates issues with aliases not being correctly configured and can be
confusing compared to private channels. Using user aliases is therefore
now done manually instead of being a default behavior.
2 rules were defined with the same id thus only one was loaded in
database, resulting in missing read access on model
'project.task.history.cumulative'.
This patch fixes the ids of these rules and clarify their names
When we were trying to delete a stage in project where there were
some tasks, an error was raised because of the 'project.task.history.cumulative'
records that inherit 'project.task.history' which have a compute method on
on end_date.
To fix this, we set the 'compute' attribute to 'None' and the readonly
'attribute' to 'True'.
If you create a task when `default_project_id` is set, the stage_id
is initialized at the lowest sequence of the stages of the project,
which is normal. However, when you change the project of the task,
the stage_id was not correctly reset. If you save at this time, you
add the selected stage in the project.
Also, the stage_id was not correctly cleared if you remove the project.
Before this patch, the order of a project's task type (its columns)
were defined by a sequence. However, when you quick-create columns,
they have the same sequence value: 1 by default. This results in
weird behavior when you edit a task type (for example, by changing its
tooltips), the column is moved at the end.
By ordering by sequence and id, the behavior is more intuitive
as the colum doesn't move when you edit it.
As we will soon improve the sanitizer we will be able to sanitize email
templates body. However this implies some cleaning in the templates to
be sure mako is not considered as invalid html / xml and therefore removed
from the template body.
If you create a task directly, the key `default_project_id` is not set
in the context. This key is used to compute the default stage of the
created task. It is done by creating a domain. Unfortunately, the
domain is always filled with `[('fold', '=', False)]` and thus it
always returns a result that makes no sense when `default_project_id`
is not set. Worse, if you actually create the task, the found stage
that was not in your project is now a part of it.
The fix is to return no result if the `default_project_id` is not set
in the context.
* crm, project, website, website_event, website_blog, website_forum,
website_sale
Eg: the tour 'shop_buy_product' is extended by the website_sale_options
addons to add a step to close a modal.
The current solution was requiring the module that defines the tour
to extend, then add/remove steps in the "step" key of the tour
definition.
Some of the problems with this method were:
* The "register" method calls the "update" method to immediately
search for tip to place once registered (as register may be called
after the DOM is ready). So extensions of tours were happening after
the tours were started (and the tours were not restarted).
* The addition/removal of steps was happening after they were filtered
according to the "edition" key.
To allow extension, the system is changed as follow:
* The "register" method now only saves the steps and options without
modifying them and does not call the "update" method.
* Once the DOM was ready, the tour service started listening to DOM
mutations and called the "update" tour method. Now, this "update" call
is replaced by a "_register_all" call, on DOM ready and at the end of
the current call stack (which makes sure all modules are loaded). This
"_register_all" method marks the registered tours as ready after having
filtered the steps according to the "edition" key and initialized the
current step to trigger.
* Also, tours can now define a "wait_for" option which allow them to
be marked as ready for run and update after the given deferred. Those
tours can now also be extended without having to wait for the deferred.
PhamtomJS must wait for the "ready" key to be true to run the tour.
Add a link in the general settings to access easily the default_user form view in order to modify the default access rights
The default_user manager rights declarations in all the applications have been move in a noupdate="1" definition to avoid the manual configuration overwrittings
