Steps:
- Install project.
- Go to the project.
- Create or edit the project name to excessively long.
- Then go to Kanban view.
- The project name would overflow.
Issue:
-Before this commit, in the project's kanban view, if the project's name was
excessively long, it would overflow.
Cause:
-When the name is excessively long it would overflow out of the div element.
Fix:
-After this commit the name is now shortened by applying the 'me-5' Bootstrap
class.

Step:
- Navigate to the project module.
- Select any project.
- Click the status button on the Kanban view's top left.
- This action redirects to the project update Kanban view.
- Notice that the status field is unexpectedly editable.
Issue:
- In the project module, accessing the project update Kanban view allows
unintended editing of the status field.
Cause:
- Due to the new modifications made in the kanban view where the user is allowed
to perform selection from the view itself, the status field also resonates the
similar behavior.
Fix:
- By adding the 'read-only' attribute in the Kanban view specifically for the
status field, we can restrict the unintended modifications to this field.
This implementation ensures that users cannot edit the status field directly
from the Kanban view.

Before this commit when the user creates a task with a subtask and
save the form view and then go to the form view of the subtask and
set as project the same than the one set on the parent task, he cannot
save the form view. The reason is because the framework JS considers
there is nothing to save since in fact , the project set is the same
than the parent by default, it is just not displayed in the interface
thanks to the value of `display_in_project` field. The reason is
to be able to let the user choose if he wants to see the subtask in
the main views (list/kanban) of tasks linked to the project or just
below the parent task.
This commit fixes the issue by forcing to update the `display_in_project`
field even if it is not in the active fields since it is invisible
in the interface and only the widget set on the project field will
read and update it.
Steps to reproduce:
==================
- Install Project app
- Go to the project app
- Create project A
- Create a task inside that Project A
- Go to the form view of that task
- Create a subtask
- Save the form view
- Go to the form view of the subtask
- Set the project A as project for that subtask
- Save the form view
Current Behavior:
================
The form view cannot be saved because the framework JS considered
there is in fact, nothing to save since `display_in_project` is
not in the active fields and there is no force_save="1" set on the
field in the view definition.
Expected behavior:
=================
The form view should be saved.

The parser of the library we use to extract strings to be translated
(python-babel) doesn't handle escaped newlines in the same way as the
JavaScript parser. The resulting mismatch makes the content that uses
them untranslatable.
for example:
```js
const hey = _t("slt \
çv ?"
);
```
is exported as "slt \nçv ?", while the content of the variable is
"slt çv?"
This commit removes faulty occurrences from the code base and re-exports
the corresponding POT files.

Before this commit, when a project user shares a recurrent task to an
internal user, the internal user cannot open the form view of that task
because he does not have access to `project.task.recurrence` model.
The reason is because the compute methods to set the recurrence fields
assumed the user has access to that model.
This commit adds `groups="project.project_group_user"` to recurrent fields
to be sure the user has access to `project.task.recurrence` model before
computing the field.

Steps
=====
- Install module project
- Open the form view of a project
- Set a planned date
- Click anywhere on the page to remove the focus from the date picker
Issue
=====
The chosen date disappeared without any explanation to the user
Cause
=====
odoo#123268 introduced some changes related
to the planned dates of projects.
1. the write method is modified to avoid the write of only a start/end
date (both date should be set or none of them)
2. a required is added on the start date field in the form view of
project
3. an onchange is added to avoid to have one of both field set and not
the other
This last change is problematic as it overrides the required behavior of
the date fields.
On top of that, https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/143509 changed the
behavior of the datepicker widget that only display the full range by
default if both fields are required (which is not the case here if they
are empty).
The combination of those changes have the consequence that the planned
date field is unusable in the form view of projects.
Fix
===
The onchange being only useful in form view, it is deprecated as the
required attribute is sufficient for this usecase and provide the user
warnings if he forget a field. On top of that a required attribute is
also set on the end date field.

This commit fixes a crash that would happen on file upload in the project
sharing portal chatter. This crash was caused by the file size check in
the uploadFiles method of the FileInput component due to the fact that
the PortalFileInput calls this method once per file instead of once for
all files. The fix therefore ensures that the file size check will be
correctly applied in the case of a single file parameter instead of a
files array.
Steps to reproduce:
- Access the portal (with the /my route)
- Go to Projects
- Open the AGR - S00064 - Sales Order project
- Open any task in the kanban view
- Send an attachment in the chatter

Description:
Indexes on a Selection field are never used in a `NOT IN` where clause,
as PostgreSQL doesn't have the complementary values (in DB a Selection
field is just a VarChar) to make use of an index on the field.
The ORM currently doesn't invert
`not in <selection>` -> `in <complement of selection>`.
Benchmark:
Positive impact in the project modules all around, specially for long running
projects where the proportion of "done" tasks are >90% of the
project's task. On a populated project with 10k tasks, 200 of those are
open, there were around 10x improvement on the requests linked to
rendering the kanban view of the project. More elaborate benchmarks are
available in the referenced task.

Prior to this commit some td in the list renderer were vertically align
on the middle while other are aligned on top. This comes from commit[1]
This commit removes the vertical-align: middle to rely on the inherited
alignment from the `<td>` which is inherited until the `<table>` el
which set the alignment on `top`.
To visually center the icons previously centered by vertical-align,
a new variable: `$o-line-size` is created.
This variable accounts for the total size of a line which is the font
size multiplied by the line height.
In our case this ensure that the icons line height in the list view is
the same as the <td> that are containing text.

This commit's purpose is to give back to the portal user the access
rigth to read on the model project.milestone. This access was removed
because it was judge that it was not needed to give access to portal
user to an entire model. The issue it created is that while the name_get
still works, it is no longer possible to do a search on the milestone
field on the portal sharing
step to reproduce :
- install db with project and demo data
- log in with mitchel admin
- open the project app
- click on the 'share' option of the deco addict project
- select 'edit' and type 'joel' in the partner section. Select the
suggested portal user 'my company joel willis'
- click on 'send invitation'
- log out and log in with the portal user
- select the project menu
- click on the shared project 'deco addict'
- start typing in the search bar and select the 'milestone' option
An access right error is raised.
source of the issue :
The name_search function is not executed in sudo and since the
portal user has no read access on the project.milestone model,
an access right error is raised.
Solution :
Give the read access to the project.milestone model to portal user.
Ideally, that is something we'd like to avoid, but since the other
option is to execute the name_search in sudo, giving read access is the
better option. An ir.rule was also added to ensure that the portal user
has only access to the milestone linked to his shared project. A local
script was added, and the version of the manifest was changed in order
to trigger the script when the module is updated.
Some tests were added.

Description:
Portal routes `/my/tickets` or `/my/tasks` were reported slow to
load with many items.
Analysis:
The avatars that are loaded are of too large sizes (encoded in base64)
compared to their rendering size. `img.o_avatar` limits the
dimensions to `1.7145em` (roughly `27px` on desktop), so it's
useless to load `avatar_1024` for those image sources. This has a
significant impact when the user has a slow connection, the server
is hosted far away from the user, or the images used are of badly
compressed (so each images takes a quite a few MiB).
Fix:
Scan for all instances of the usage of `avatar_1024` on an `<img>`
with the class `o_avatar` and reduce it to `avatar_128`.

- In portal form view of project's task the 'allocated time' and the 'progress' fields shouldn't be visible if the 'timesheets' feature is disabled on the project.
Cause:
- There is no any condition for allocated time and progress field.
Fix:
- Added condition for both field in hr_timesheet & project respectively.

We do the following improvement:
- some wording changes
- the activity templates can be edited directly in the list view instead of in
a popup except in hr because sub module add too many field to be edited in
directly in the list view.
- when scheduling a plan, the due date of the created activities are computed
as the plan_date_deadline + activity type delay and if the plan_date_deadline
is not specified, as today + activity type delay.
- there were 2 res_model fields in the mail_activity_plan_view_form that was
causing a selection box to appears on many form where the model shouldn't be
selectable. We remove one of them here.
