Creating and editing mass mailing in multiple language is managed with
the change 05daa15.
But currently the language the mass mailing is sent in, is the language
of the "Process Mass Mailing Queue" (root user if not changed) so all
the recipients will receive the mail in the root user language has at
the time the given batch of mails is sended.
So this is different from what someone could expect by it being
translatable. In any case the recipients list could be based on a lead,
a partner a mass mailing contact or other and a language could not be
determinable in stable (a mass mailing contact does not have a language
for example).
If the system worked, there is also a usability downside in the meaning
that someone could duplicate a mail and not check all translation and
not be aware that the mail he see is maybe not the mail that will be
received (if translations have not all been completed).
In stable to have the same behavior in any case and lessen the usability
burden of users thinking erroneously the mass mailing may be sent in
several languages depending on a not-existing heuristic, this changeset
remove the translatability of mass mailing content.
This has the following effect:
no translation editing appear,
the mass mailing is edited and sent in one and the same language,
If someone want to send a mass mailing in several language, currently in
Odoo it would then require to:
duplicate the mass mailing,
change the domains of recipients base on choosen heuristic,
edit the duplicated mass mailing in the choosen language

Before this the -webkit-text-security CSS property was used. This, as
the name implies, only works in webkit based browsers. Instead we can
just render the PIN code as •'s since the value of the inputBuffer is
used (not the rendered text) when checking the PIN.

Version 2.7.1 is not yet available in most distributions,
but is now considered the recommended version.
Odoo will work just fine with any psycopg2 version >= 2.2, though.
Before this commit, the JS parser would add 0 after the input, then add the ean key.
Whereas reportlab.graphics.barcode fills the input with 0's on the left, then add the key

Original commit (in 10.0) be9dce625c
From original commit:
It is still possible to have negative and positive quants in the same
location because of returns: if you send something to the customer that
is not there and you return it, you will still be able to reserve the
returned goods to send to another client.
Before, if you would do an inventory adjustment, it would not take into
account these returned quants and their negative counterpart, which made
them difficult to get out of the system.
This fix takes them into account by creating two movements for one
inventory line: move the positive counterpart to the inventory location
before getting back from this location the same quantity.
This way, even if you have 0 as quantity on hand but you have those 2
quants, it will eliminate them. (if you are increasing the stock, part
of the process might have done it automatically already).
Also, a key of context has been added which authorizes the process described above in the case of both a tracked product and no lot_id on the stock inventory

When using Wi-Fi the Odoo instance on the POSBox will start after a
Wi-Fi connection is established. This takes a bit longer than when
you're using a wired connection. If Firefox gets started before you
end up with a 'Could not connect to localhost:8069' error.
When doing a delete, the cache is cleared, putting an unlink in a loop
multiplies the number of requests made (for access rules, relational
field, recompute ...) by the number of rows. Doing it outside the loop
speeds up the validation of the invoice.

- Activate multi-currency
- Define a rate today (e.g. 2017-06-01) and next month (e.g. 2017-07-01)
- Create a deferred revenue on 2017-07-02 in the foreign currency
- Post the first line
The rate taken is the rate of today, not the rate of next month.

Before this commit, it was not possible to reach the general settings when one
of the "default" provider was delete.
After this commit, we don't assume anymore that there are google and facebook
providers.

In a SO, the "Invoiced Qty" can decrease if the refund is generated from
the SO. It doesn't decrease if the refund is generated from the Invoice.
However, we don't have this mechanism in a PO since the invoice is not
generated directly from the PO. There is therefore no way to decrease
the "Billed Qty".
We authorize the "Billed Qty" to decrease in the case of PO.

It shouldn't be possible to duplicate ir.model.fields. Add attribute
´duplicate´ which can be set to false to hide the duplication option in the
action menu.
The name of a company is uniq. The name of a company comes from a
partner and is required.
Thus duplicating a company didn't work.
With this change, if no partner is overriding the copy, the current
partner is duplicated and associated to the new duplicated company.

- Create a stockable and a service product
- In the POS, sell 1 unit of the stockable product and -1 unit of the
service product
- Validate and pay
2 pickings are created: a picking containing the stockable product which
stays in state 'Draft' and an empty picking in state 'Available'.
The problem comes from the negative quantity on a service product: we
should filter out services when checking the quantities.

It's unclear whether that's a recent change or a long-standing issue,
however currently if geocode is called with an empty address string it
will reply with a 400 Bad Request, which gets raised as an exception and
forwarded to the user. That is not a great experience.
Shortcut the entire thing and just return None (= geolocation failed /
no geolocation) on trying to geolocate an empty address.

Commits 9365482df0 and 8fc81b871d attempted to prevent the creation
of two moves with the same name during reconciliation. It works in most
cases, but it is still possible to reconcile the same statement line
with more than one line.
We add an extra check to make sure duplicate never happen.

This simple return allows submodules to be able to know when a dialog is shown and modify something in it.
Note from GED: I am aware that this is a IMP in a stable version, and I really don't like that... But it looks like it really helps many people, as shown by the PR, and the risk induced by this commit is definitely extremely low, so I will make an exception.

When updating a carrier that is not "fixed" or "base_on_rule", this
method was creating unnecessary delivery.price.rule at each write.
This patch fixes this issue.
Closes PR #17443
As a consequence of rev. 76cd8d2558,
imported modules were unable to access their resource files during
import.
Rather than further modifying the file_open API to whitelist paths
(the whole thing needs a redesign in master), we temporarily
whitelist the temporary directory by including it in the global
addons_paths, making sure to undo it afterwards.
This gives all lower level function access the resource files via
file_open, without having to pass around whitelisted paths
through many different calls.
On a pricelist, if multiple rules were set with the same
set of rules condition, the choice of which rule/item
is used was random, according to the postgres database
state.
Adding the `id` in the order force to always use the same
rule/item (the first that was created).

If you have two invoices with a same product,
- one having 1 unit of a product,
- the other -1 unit of a product,
The sum of these quantities will be 0, and it will lead
to a division by zero in the former sql request.
The nullif should be applied on the sum, not on the line quantity.
