Followup of rev 383947646f
Let's say you have 6 units and you try to reserve a dozen while the
rounding of the dozen is 1.0. The previous commit correctly only allows
to reserve 12 units, and handle correctly forced quantities in other
compatible UOM, all that with extra moves/backoders.
But we missed an important issue: if now you have 12 units, you will
reserve them. If these 12 units are split across quants, i.e. some are
in another sublocations or are assigned a special lot_id, then we'll
again have rounding issue because the reservation was always expressed
in the move's uom while sometimes it is not possible to go back and
forth between the move uom and and the product's uom. In other word,
we'll reserve 12 times 0 dozen and get stuck at the next step.
This patch now only reserve a quantity if the quantity is expressible in
the rounding's UOM. If this quantity is split across multiple move
lines, we'll make the move line reserved in the UOM of the quants if
necessary. We also do not apply the rounding down -> halfup dance if
`_update_reserved_quantity` is called with the force argument set as
True (meaning, in an mto scenario). The change in
`_prepare_move_line_vals` will make the move lines in the uom of the
qants and everything should be good. With the last change, we need to
adapt the test added by the previous patch, else we won't be able to
make a chain of 2 move moving producst tracked by serial number if the
rounding of the dozen is set at 1.0.

- Set up Paypal as described in
https://www.odoo.com/documentation/user/11.0/ecommerce/shopper_experience/paypal.html
- Buy a product on the eCommerce.
The vendor might receive an email mentioning that Instant Payment
Notifications (IPN) are failing.
When completing the paypent process with Paypal, 2 confirmations of the
transaction will occur. The first one is through the route
`/payment/paypal/dpn` (Payment Data Transfer (PDT)), which takes place
right after the payment validation. The second confirmation comes
through the route `/payment/paypal/ipn` (Instant Payment Notification
(IPN)), which might arise with some delay (and potentially being run
several times).
Both confirmations will trigger the method `_generate_and_pay_invoice`,
which can raise an error if no invoiceable line is found ('There is no
invoiceable line.' in `sale` module). In this case, we should log the
error and move forward instead of crashing and stopping the workflow.

In case of changing the quantity on hand of two variants of the same product,
the two message created will have the same name (the name of the

Show the name of variant instead.
In the wizard for payment several invoices with one payment, there was a
error when making the previous fix: 29c6c06de7.
The patch still worked because of a particularity of readonly and
related on account.payment but the check_amount_in_words would possibly
not be set when it should have.

- When a quotation if viewed by a customer, a note is posted in the quotation's chatter saying "Quotation viewed by customer".
This is causes issues if the quotation is accessed without the access token and by a partner that do not have the rights to write on the model "sale.order".
To address this issue we provide to the "_message_post_helper" function the sale order's access token to bypass the accesses checks.

Rev. 69c9500e recently added option 'keepSearchView' to doAction in
the ActionManager. When set to true, the searchview of the current
action is re-used by the executed action.
This caused issues with the dashboard, as the wrong action id was
used to save the current action to the dashboard (it was the one
of the action for which the searchview was instantiated, not the
one of the current action, executed with option keepSearchView set
to true). For instance, go to Website (in enterprise), in the
new dashboard (view) expand the graph view, try to add the graph
action to the dashboard (board).

When validating a delivery order with automated inventory,
some accounting moves are created.
Since an inventory user might not have accounting rights,
the validation of delivery orders might fail.
We simply had a sudo when in the internal method creating the move.
Moreover if the inventory valuation is set in FIFO,
the product price might be updated.
It might fail for lack of additional rights.
We add a sudo for this price update.
opw 1836761
When validating a delivery order, some stock moves might be merged by an
internal function, which thus might delete some stock moves.
Since an inventory user has no right to unlink stock moves,
the validation might fail.
We simply had a sudo when doing the unlink, since this is an external method.

The copy-paste feature of summernote was messy and led most of the time
to breaking the template you were trying to edit. While it is difficult
to solve as it mostly comes from the lib itself and that the lib is in
a complicated state as Odoo had to overridde part of its internal code
for its own purposes, this commit hopes to solve the problem by updating
only the copy-paste feature to the latest summernote version.
Of course, as summernote changed a lot meanwhile, it was not possible to
just take the up-to-date summernote file. This commit refactores the
up-to-date summernote clipboard code so that it fits the old summernote
version Odoo is using.
Note: the main problems occurred while using Windows/Mac and not Linux.

"remembering" the range after clicking on buttons or features of the

In chrome the selection begin with the first displayed element (so it
may not be a direct child of the editable and is taken into account in
the code).

Having a different behavior from other apps present in the systray about
activities is not understandable.
Done after feedback from saas-11.3 internal testing phase. This commit is
linked to task ID 1838917.
Otherwise users that already exist when installing note module do not have
any default columns for note leading to an incoherent behavior, especially
with reminders.
Done after feedback from saas-11.3 internal testing phase. This commit is
linked to task ID 1838917.
Steps to reproduce:
-Create company A
-Create company B
-Admin user with both companies but currently in company B
-Create Demo user only with company B
-Create fiscal position A to company A
-Create fiscal position B to company B
-Create vendor with fiscal position A with company A and the same vendor with fiscal position B in company B
-Create product and add the vendor created before
-Set like Create a draft purchase order
-Logging with Demo user
-Create sale order with one sale order line with route make to order
-Validate sale order
Bug:
The purchase order created by sale order had the fiscal position company A.

This commit adds the auto-creation journal for installed acquirers.
This is not easy because:
- The acquirers are created on the 'payment' module but are enabled only when the specific module
is installed. E.g. Paypal is enabled with 'payment_paypal'.
- To create a journal, a chart of accounts is required. However, the post_init_hook on the
'account' module makes the installation order harder. E.g install payment_paypal directly:
The module are installed in the order: account -> payment -> payment_paypal -> l10n_generic_coa.
To fix the problem, the journals are created at two moments:
- During the installation of the chart of accounts.
- At the installation of an acquirer module. E.g. payment_paypal.

Here is an interesting scenario, involving the reconciliation tour again
(because it is our only tour that does async stuff before changing url):
- web client starts normally
- tour reconciliation starts, perform an rpc to find some id
- web client fetches users default action, it is empty, so clicks on
first menu item to load initial action, which is discuss. this will
make the web client load the action with datamanager (it should be the
action manager's job!).
- reconciliation tour rpc completes, it changes the url, this will do a
do_action
- the load_action rpc from the web client completes, it will then
perform a do_action, which will drop the action initiated by the tour
- tour fails.
The issue here is that the on_menu_action method from the web client is
not really safe, from a concurrency point of view: it performs some
asynchronous work, and then unilateraly decides to do a doAction. With
this commit, we simply add the do_action request to the action manager,
which uses internally a "dropprevious" system. This means that it will
always use the last action, just as expected.

When in Python 3, then function `open` defaults to open the file in text mode
with and the encoding (if not passed) is taken from
`locale.getpreferredencoding`.
Using `getpreferredencoding` is not necessarily a good practice. Because
files might no be encoded that way.
When testing Odoo not in runbot (which has LANG set to C.UTF-8) you may get:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/home/gitlab-runner/src/odoo11/addons/web/tests/test_js.py", line 24, in test_check_suite

return codecs.ascii_decode(input, self.errors)[0]
UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in position 4757: ordinal not in range(128)
The proposed solution is to read the file in binary mode, and decode to
unicode/str ourselves using utf-8. We don't use the encoding argument of
`open`, so that the code works in both Python 3 and Python 2.
PR #24434
- Company currency in EUR
- Create 2 rates for USD:
1.0 on 2018-01-01
0.5 on 2018-02-01
- Create an invoice on 2018-01-02 of 111 USD
- Register a payment on 2018-02-02 of 111 USD
- Unreconcile the payment
An error occurs: 'You are trying to reconcile some entries that are
already reconciled!'
In this specific case where the rate decreases, the exchange rate entry
is reconciled with the payment, so we need to keep the payment entries.
Before this, the progressbar values were not updated (both count and progress)
after archiving all the records of a column.
Multiple things have been done here to update it.
Firstly, a optimization had been done to avoid reloading the progressbar when
updating a column ; this optimization was not correct due to this precise use
case. This will update the progressbar.
Secondly, the `aggregateValues` are reset when putting empty groups back in the
datapoint. This attribute is used to compute the counter if a `sum_field` is set
on the progressbar widget. It needs to be reset because the loop that computes
it won't iterate on empty groups.
Eventually, the mockRPC of the progressbar route was not taking the `group_by`
argument into account (probably a typo).
Use case fixed: manual reconciliation through the account.move.line list of items with several currencies, that will create a full reconcilation with several exchange rate entries to balance the amounts in all foreign currencies. Unreconciling these lines was wrongly creating an account.move with a lot of lines with debit = credit = amount_currency = 0.
Usecase to reproduce:
- Create a product A with a qty on hand 5.5
- Create a delivery order with an initial demand of 5.5
- Validate it with a qty equals to 5.95
The initial demand is updated to 5.951 then reduced to 5.95
and a backorder is created with an initial demand of 0.001.
That should not happen since I process extra quantities.
It python 5.95 - 5.5 = 0.4500000000000002 and the float_compare
use a round UP method thus it returns 0.451 and the following
flow is based on a wrong value.
In this case a float compare is used before the float round, so an
HALF-UP rounding should be okay since a very small quantity diff should
be filter by the compare.

when navigating with the keyboard, using the ALT key is the trigger
for most of the access keys. In Firefox on Linux, this prevents a number
of existing shortcuts (like ALT+Left arrow for browser back).
This fix allows browsers to execute those shortcuts.
Note: in Firefox on linux ALT+F E V S B T H are assigned to menus and
cannot be stopped, removing the keypress handler does not change
anything.
Before this fix, when going on the graph view from the dashboard view (
using the fullscreen button on dashboard), the focus is on the search
input, hitting the tab key creates a crash.
This fix gives a default implementation of giveFocus to the
abstractrenderer so there is no crash.
When doing several grouping quickly (or if the system is slow) on the
pivot view, we may try to display data that now doesn't corresponds to
the current selected groupBys.
This commit ensures that when we load data of the pivot view, we drop
the previous data loading that are currently being carried out.
Without the fix, the added test failed with:
TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined
because the test does:
- select one level of group by
- select two levels of group by
- resolve the first level of group by
- resolve the second level of group by
Without the fix, we would try to display the data for one level of group
by when the pivot view had two levels selected.
With the fix, displaying the first level of group by was discarded once
a second one was being requested.
