Chrysanthe (chgo) dbc760b68c [FIX] website_forum: fix spacing issues
This commit aims to fix an issue on forum posts, about comments being
placed directly next to each other without having a gap between them,
making it harder to visually recognize items at first glance.

To handle this issue, we simply add a `d-flex gap-x` utility classes
to ensure these elements receive some spacing between them.

Chrysanthe (chgo) 72785de2d4 [FIX] account: fix searchpanel width issue
This commit fixes an issue about the search panel content being cut in
some accounting interfaces. This is due to the fact that the searchpanel
with a specific class would get an arbitrary width value in px.

To avoid this issue, we set a `w-auto` to the searchpanel, allowing it
to adapt its width to its content.

Chrysanthe (chgo) a1b8cfec43 [FIX] web, website_sale: add missing `.float-start class
Commit[1] aimed to fix a layout issue inside the eCommerce categories
form view on mobile devices.

Prior to Commit[1], a `.float-start` class was applied to the content
of thesheet, moving it "out of the flow", resulting in a wrong sized
form_sheet.

To fix the issue, we removed the `.float-start` class, but doing such
a change introduced a risk for users's customizations.

To prevent this issue, we reintroduce the initial lines, and will provide
a fix in another PR.

This commit fixes a layout issue inside the eCommerce categories form

Chrysanthe (chgo) b5db4c2661 [FIX] web_editor: fix colorpicker buttons design
This commit fixes an issue related to the colorpicker component, present
in both back-end and front-end. They use the same XML template but they
have two different selectors within our SCSS files.

Some months ago, commit[1] removed some `@extend` rules related
to button design within the `web_editor`, and replaced them
with a `.btn` BS class. This affected both colorpicker and causes layout
issues on the "front-end web editor", which was not the expected output.

The issue was fixed directly with commit[2], but by removing the `.btn`
class from the template, it removed the whole styling on the back-end
color picker, making it use the user agent button styling.

== After ==
Since the colorpicker already has some CSS variables to handle its design
depending on the context, we make use of the CSS variables to customize
the design of the component when it is inside the backend, and make it
look as it was before it lost its `.btn` class.

Chrysanthe (chgo) 40c183f6d9 [FIX] web: fix missing border-radius on arrow button
This commit fixes an issue about the last arrow button not taking the
`o_first` class  in some cases.

With Odoo 17, we introduced a new behavior for our arrow buttons.
This behavior includes an invisible element placed before and after the
first arrow button on the left and right side.

While this is working fine as long as you don't have any hidden item
insie a dropdown menu, once you trigger a stage that was folded into a
dropdown menu, this invisible element appears on the right side.

Since we use the `o_first` class that sets a `border-radius` on the first
element on the right side, this invisible element was taking that
`o_first` class.

To fix the issue, we search for the first element within the scope that
does not have a `d-none` class, and we then add the class to that specific
element.

Chrysanthe (chgo) c04d667912 [FIX] web: allow radio fields to wrap horizontally
This commit adds the possibility for the `.o_horizontal` class to wrap,
which is especially interesting in mobile.

When using a `radio` widget, you can choose to use two options :

- `horizontal` which will add a `.o_horizontal` class to the radios
and allow them to display with a `flex-row`

- `vertical` which will add a `.o_vertical` class to the radios
and allow them to display with a `flex-column`

Prior to this commit, the `.o_horizontal` class was not allowing elements
to wrap, which would cause overflow issues on small devices.

To fix this issue, we add a `flex-wrap` property to the class, to ensure
that if the buttons are larger than the breakpoint, they will wrap
and stay inside the container.

Chrysanthe (chgo) 9f5609fd70 [FIX] point_of_sale: action pad and customer button width
This commit fixes two issues that occur when a customer has a very long
name within the `point_of_sale` module.

1. If you create a customer with a very long name, this will cause the
left panel to extend, pushing the numpad to the right, making it out of
use.

To fix this issue, we add a `mw-50` class to the container, so that we
limit its growth, and we validate the `text-truncate` class applied to
the customer name.

2. If you use the `point_of_sale` module on a mobile device, the buttons
related to main actions such as refund, customer note, billing etc are
wrapped into a `more` button. When you open that interface, if the name
of the customer is too long, it will overflow the parent container and
so generates an overflow.

To fix that issue, we simply add a `text-truncate` class to the customer
name to be sure it doesn't generate any overflow.

Prior to this commit, the navigation arrows inside the control panel

Chrysanthe (chgo) c34518283f [FIX] mail: improve arrow buttons label readability
This commit improves the readability of the label inside an arrow button.

Prior to this commit, the label of an arrow button was styled with a

This commit fixes a contrast and readability issue on the active tab

Prior to this commit, an active tab on mobile view would use a primary

This would cause readability issue, with a dark text on a primary

To avoid this kind of issue, we set a `text-bg-primary` class to our

This commit fixes an accessibility issue about a link which does not
provide any visual feedback to the user who would hover it.

Prior to this commit, this link did not provide any visual feedback,
due to the lack of `cursor-pointer` BS class or `btn-link` styling.

The easiest way to fix this is to add a `cursor-pointer` class to the

classes but this would requires more layout and design adjustments.

This commit reduces the size of the icons used for the employee presence

Prior to this commit, these icons were using a rule to define if they
should be diplayed in large or not, by checking the html tag of the
element they are in.

These icons were also styled with custom CSS to adjust their size, while
classes like `fa-lg` could eventually provide a workaround.

This approach was causing issues especially in kanban cards, were these
icons would appear massive and cause visual cluttering.

To improve the render of these inside cards, we simply remove the

Chrysanthe (chgo) fc551f36a6 [FIX] portal: remove unused SCSS variables
This commit removes unused variables inside portal.

Before the redesign, portal was using a card layout. To ensure these
cards were always visible and readable, we used SCSS variables to detect
the `background-color` of the page. If the `background-color` was white,
we would set it to a light gray to ensure our cards are visible.

With the new design, we modified the structure and layout of the page,
using a bg-light class directly on the cards rather than modifying the
background of the body, which made these lines useless.

Since they are not used anywhere, we remove them from our SCSS file.

Chrysanthe (chgo) c91c221c4c [FIX] web: reintroduce CSS variables for navbar entries
This commit aims to reintroduce CSS variables to handle the different
states of our navbar entries.

Recently, the way we handle the navbar entries changed. Previously, we
used to set CSS variables in Community, which would allow us to control
the color of ours nav entries at every state.

On the Enteprise side, this would allow us to use the different colors we
use for these buttons and style them differently

This approach was also very helpful because we could override these CSS
variables once again to handle the colors of the Studio navbar elements.

Recently, the approach used to control these elements changed :

- On Community, we make use of CSS variables ;
- On Enterprise, we use the Bootstrap `btn-light` class.

Using `btn-light` was a very good approach to ensure that no issues would
appears on our buttons and also to reduce the amount of code needed, but
unfortunately, using `btn-light` directly affects Studio, causing contrast
issues. It was also a bit weird to have CSS variables + Bootstrap classes
being set at the same time.

To fix these issues, we reintroduce CSS variables in Enterprise and Studio,
to fully control the color of our elements and ensure everything is
readable. Most of these variables are defined in Community, inside the
`navbar.scss` file, and we simply override them in Enterprise and Studio.

Chrysanthe (chgo) fe7dedfbc7 [FIX] account: upload button contrast
=== ISSUE ===

With Milk, our primary buttons received a fresh lifting in term
of design,with different designs according the state the button is in.

Before that, our buttons were green with a white text on it,
and the behavior was identical on `hover`. This allowed us to force
a `color: white` when it was needed, since the background always matched
WCAG contrast standards.

Since the 16.3, these buttons are on a dark background,
and that background becomes light when in `active` state. That means we
cannot use white on these buttons.

=== AFTER ===

We set the color of the link inside the button to `inherit` in order to
fix the active state behaviour.

Note that this should be improved when reworking the widget since having
a link inside a button is not really expected. Instead we should use a
link that allows different actions.

Chrysanthe (chgo) 0c405014d2 [FIX] web: fix calendar and datetime picker layout
=== ISSUE 1 ===

The spacing between the navigation buttons in Calendar were managed
by a `gap-1` class. This worked but it was not consistent with
the navigation we have in project gantt view. In order to improve
the consistency of our UI, we need to make this look the same.

=== ISSUE 2 ===

If you navigate to Time Off and request a new time off, the datetime
picker `apply` position is not correct. This is due to the fact that
no `state.timeValues` is visible to position it accordingly. That means
we need to specify two different layout depending if these buttons are
visible or not.

== AFTER ===

We remove the `gap-1` class and add a `btn-group` class instead,
which manage the spacing between children buttons.

We also change the navigation icons to `arrows` one and fix two issues
related to the datetime picker :

- The gap between month name isn't computed as it should ;
- There is an issue with the position of the `apply` button
when no `state.timeValues` is displayed.

Chrysanthe (chgo) 83903d0a90 [FIX] web: add missing gap between PDF buttons
=== ISSUE ===

In some modules, there is a recurring layout issue with buttons being
compressed. This is caused by a missing `gap` or `margin` and
results in two main issues :

1/ It reduces the clickable zone of each button (you are more likely
to click on its neighbor rather than the one you wanted)

2/ It does not look good and causes inconsistency with other buttons.

=== AFTER ===

We simply add a `d-flex` and a `gap-1` class to the container to be sure
that no matter how many buttons are inside that <div> they will
always be spaced correctly.

Chrysanthe (chgo) 75dc7cfb9f [FIX] web: fix datetime_picker color scheme
=== ISSUE ===

With Milk, we introduced a change related to the active state color
meaning that the `active` state should use the following SCSS variables:

- $o-component-active-bg for the background ;

- $o-component-active-color for the text ;

- $o-component-active-border for the border.

The datetime_picker component was currently using the primary variable
which is not the expected color. This change also affects the different
states of the datetime picker (hover, click, ...)

=== AFTER ===

We apply the right variables on the component for consistency purpose,
and make some little design adjustments using `:before` and `:after`
pseudo elements to stylize the different states.

The purpose of this commit is to improve the design of the Property field

We also introduce a modification of the JS test related to the property

of a header and a body.

Since we refactored the component in one single block with the class
`.o_modal_container`, we apply the `.o_field_property_definition_header`
class directly on the input rather than targeting an input inside the

=== ISSUE ===

If you navigate to Accounting > Accounting > Journal items and click on

being hidden by the sidebar. This is mostly due to the fact that

based on the width of `.o_search_panel_category_value`

from `.o_search_panel` with a `.account_root` class, so 42px + 12px.

If you open the `Expenses` module, the buttons placed on the left inside
the Control Panel have a custom margin. One of them has a `.mx-1` and
another one has a custom `.gap` defined in the SCSS files.

=== AFTER ===

We remove the `.mx-1` class to replace it with a `.me-1` class, which
is used across Control Panels to space buttons.

We also fix a global issue with the `.o_list_buttons` inside a
`.o_list_view` class, which was adding a gap defined in CSS. Since this
gap is added on top of our `.me-1`, this was generating a higher value
than expected for the margin.

With the new Milk design, we introduced `.border-radius` on buttons.
Most of the time the render looks great, but in some cases, it would break

chrysanthe(chgo) 4f3e886c68 [IMP] web: fix calendar year view min-width
== ISSUE ==

When you access the calendar view inside a module and render the year
view, there is only one month per row, which is due to the base `rem`
unit value change.

In fact, we introduce a new value for the `rem` unit with Milk,
which is 16px.

On Master, 1rem is actually 12px, so 4px less.

Since the `min-width` of the `.fc-month-container` is defined using rem,
we have :

`min-width: 144px` on Master
`min-width: 192px` on Milk.

This huge difference cause the months to occupy more space than needed.

== After this commit ==

The `min-width` of the month container is removed so we have one single
month per row on small devices. This makes the calendar more accessible
and easier to navigate through for users.
