If the selected project has no task (e.g. new project), still make a search.
The previous code was making a KeyError on the filterby as the read_group
returned no result.
Introduced at d5bc0e57cd
As a portal, a user may have access to some projects (when set explicitly as
the customer on the project configuration).
Make this with a first search and add the other tasks also with the read_group
in case the user has access to some tasks but not the project.
Fixes#27457closesodoo/odoo#27581
- Add a method for generating an image data URI, and expose it in QWeb context
- Fix reports, website templates or mail templates with data hardcoded
data URIs, to use the helper (Python cases), or the existing
kanban_image helper (for JS cases)
This will gracefully handle SVG support in addition to classical image
formats.
Closes#26635
Purpose is to extend the use of the newly-introduced activity view allowing
to see at a glance activities to perform on a given model. It eases daily
job of people working with activities.
Updated :
* project all tasks main menu action as tasks coming from project already
had the view;
This commit is linked to task ID 1889413.
Future update will allow to save oe_structure editions in an inherited
view instead of editing the original view in place. The condition is
to have an id on the .oe_structure element which contains the
'oe_structure' string.
- Create a project
- Create some tasks with followers
- Create an outgoing mail server with active = False
- Copy that project
When copied, the project tries to send emails to followers using the
inactive mail server. This leads to a traceback.
The addition of the context key dates back to 2009 with 853789d0aa.
The purpose was to copy all tasks, including the archived ones.
We keep this behavior, but without propagating the `active_test` during
the copy of the tasks.

Some points have to be improved
* 'Name of the tasks' field should always be visible. It shows the user such
a change in configuration is possible;
* tasks stat button is a way for the user to create a new task from the
project form view. Just like the subtasks stat button that always shows
on the task formview;
* as he might be changing the 'name of the tasks', he should see the
consequence of this change in the stat button (as the 'name of tasks'
field might not directly speak to everyone, it is a way to show them what
this field does);
This commit is linked to task ID 1884015 and closes PR #26906 .
Purpose of this commit is to give description more "business oriented"
because those descriptions appears in Odoo Studio which is supposed to be used by end users, not only by developers.

58fc4e4409 changed various demo data,
including putting more "realistic" names in for the administrator and
demo users in demo mode. This is apparently inconvenient when actually
demo-ing Odoo as it's harder to see at a glance whether the current user
is the administrator or "regular" (demo) user of the db, though this
should have less impact since the userification of the admin
(2f7c03d9ca).
Specifications: improve menu organization, search filters and groupby, reorder
filters, update some field labels.

In order to implement the next version of the dashboards in enterprise
we need to make some changes in community namely :
* Modify some search views (used in the dashboards)
* Remove the date/datetime filters from the search views as they are
duplicated with the time ranges
* Rename the menu items from Dashboard to Overview
*: crm,
hr_expense,
hr_recruitment,
point_of_sale,
project,
sale,
stock,
web_tour,
test_main_flows,
test_new_api

(previously: click on '+' then the app item).
- Click on navbar section menu item.
(previously: click on sidebar section menu item).
Defined as this, the label of the selection field were translated during code
import, when building the python model, not when a user access the field values
as it should (and is already the case thanks to the ORM).
Trying to translate a string when no user-context is available is not only
useless but may cause bug on services with multiple databases (e.g. a SaaS).
In a multi-worker environment, when the code is imported, the _ method will use
multiple scenarios to detect the language and get a cursor.
As we have no available cursor in the frame (method _get_cr from GettextAlias),
the fallback is made on the cursor of the request.
In a multi-worker environment, this could be a cursor linked to a database in
another language than English.
In such scenario, the selections would be translated in the language of the
other database instead of displaying it in English

The group_by was passed from context from the action spawning a new view.
This meant that it could give a group_by a field that was not defined on the
destination view, causing a js traceback.

When duplicating a task, we want the copy to have
the same sale order line then the original.
However, we duplicating a project, the tasks are
copied too. But, in that case, we don't want them
to be linked to any sale line, as the copy project
will not be.
This commit fixes that use case, and provides a test.
