Before this commit, the EditMenuDialog was closed before reloading the page. [1] introduced a new test on this dialog using a workaround to go to the next step when saving, after the page was reloaded. This workaround used an unreliable event 'unload', which was inconsistent. To avoid using that event, the edit menu dialog is not closed after saving.
