When importing a CSV file with an "id" column containing external IDs (XML IDs), the system automatically creates or updates the corresponding ir.model.data entries. This would fail for regular users who do not have create/write access on this internal model.

deb http://nightly.odoo.com/7.0/nightly/deb/ ./
in your source.list and type:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install openerp
Or download the deb file and type:
$ sudo dpkg -i <openerp-deb-filename>
$ sudo apt-get install install -f
Installation on RedHat, Fedora, CentOS

$ yum install python
