Due to mentions being positioned inside thread view and messaging list (when in chat window) and those two elements having `overflow: auto`, it is necessary to give mentions an appropriate max height to prevent overflow. This makes it necessary to add a scrollbar to the mention list, which makes scrolling into view of active item necessary when navigating with the keyboard.
