Track_visibility field parameter allows to track field changes in mail. Since
commit https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/c99de4551583e801ecc6669ac456c4f7e2eef1da only updated values are tracked. Previously to that commit it
was possible to have field values being tracked whenever any other change
occurred. This feature has been removed to simplify tracking and avoid having
unnecessary values in the tracking table. In this commit we rename the
track_visibility parameter to tracking. Old parameter value is still supported
in mail for backward compatibility.
Commit https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/ec35eca7c6b772139c8fa143b388ad1d936bc9ea added sequence on tracking so that display of tracking values
is coherent through various chatter messages. To ease tracking configuration
it is merged with the tracking (old track_visibility) parameter. It means
tracking parameter can either be True (default sequence of 100) or an integer
giving the sequence to apply on the tracking.
Purpose of those changes is to simplify tracking configuration with studio
in mind. That way changing one parameter allow to customize the tracking of
fields in chatter.
Sequence field on mail.tracking.value model is renamed to tracking_sequence to
have a coherent namespace for tracking information. Tracking information on
ir.model.fields is also updated accordingly. To simplify manipulation boolean
value for tracking is automatically transformed into a sequence of 100.
This commit is linked to task ID 1903814 and PR #28430.
The pivot view may sum fields that are not really summable:
unsigned values (e.g. in the case of refunds)
values in different UOM, currencies (any different units really)
Which causes confusion when these fields are displayed.
We add support for the string and invisible attributes in the pivot view,
so that a field can be given a more informative name or hidden altogether.

We now support version 0.12.5(.1), which is available for all recent Debian and Ubuntu versions,
and contains quite a few bug fixes. An up-to-date version of Odoo 10 or later is required, for
pixel-perfect compatibility with the result of 0.12.1.3.

Odoo no longer supports python 2, thus some of these helpers can and
have been replaced by python 3 built-ins, therefore there is no need for
them to stay defined.
The removed helpers are:
* izip, imap and ifilter
* unichr, text_type
* implements_to_string, implements_iterator
* string_types, integer_types
* to_native
The python 2 shims have also been removed, and only the python 3 helpers
have been kept, because they can still be usable (i.e. accepting
both bytes and str for functions that can only accept one of the two)
[REM] pyjsparser: remove PY3 shims
They're no longer necessary as Odoo doesn't officially support python 2
anymore.

This commit replaces calls to pycompat helpers that were intended for
python 2 <-> python 3 interoperability for python 3 builtins, as python
2 is no longer officially supported by Odoo.
This includes:
* calls to imap/izip/ifilter replaced by map/zip/filter
* uses of text_type replaced by str
* uses of unichr replaced by chr
* calls to implements_to_string, implements_iterator removed
* string_types and integer_types replaced by str, int respectively
* calls to to_native replaced by calls to to_text
This is done in preparation to the removal of these deprecated helpers
in the following commit.
This commit adds a warning for common causes of mistakes, while running
the JS test suite. It is possible to lose a lot of time trying to make the
tests pass if one does not notice that the browser window is not zoomed at 100%.
Maybe this warning will help someone in the future...

As of 12.0, the `parent_left` and `parent_right` special fields previously
used to store the tree structure have been replaced with a single
`parent_path` field. See also PR #22558.
The documentation on JS testing was almost completely useless. With the
introduction of our new test utility functions, it is time to document
properly how the testing system works.
