Problem could happen when clicking in views in dashboards. The $container
was looked up depth first when the view is created, but in some case,
it is wrong (the correct order is actually breadth first). A better way
to proceed is to get the reference when the view manager is created,
so we don't have the problem at all.
If the variable was existing outside the context of the ``foreach``,
the value is copied at the end of the foreach into the global context.
Fix#4461 - Q74531 - Q71486 - Q71675
- account: placeholder on invoice form
- sale: do not display "Default Options" menu if no option is available (added
by submodules).
- product: remove unnecessary section for uom
- placeholders Terms and conditions more helpful for configuration
- unify some partner title to avoid getting duplicates
event:
- added tip
- default subscription/reminder/thanks templates for registrations are now using
the reply_to defined on the event
- fixed check of available seats: use seats_availability field, unlimited events
should never trigger the constraint
- added a sequence on scheduled emails on events
- config: wording improvements
- various improvements in event, registration, event_mail and event_report views
event_sale:
- removed override of seats_max: should not depend on available seats in
tickets. Indeed you may have less available places than the sum of seats for
each ticket type, for example if you have 0-10 VIP and 0-20 Standard tickets
for a 20-seats event.
- removed a duplicated view override
- added a seats_availability field on tickets, same meaning as on event.
- improved event form view: registration tab is now replaced by the tickets tab
when tickets are used
website_event:
- better management of sold-out event in the front-end, when doing registrations
website_event_sale:
- removed register link on the event kanban view. There is no need to to from
the back-end to the front-end from the kanban view. The published button on the
event form view already allows to go to the front-end view on the event
- better management of sold-out event in the front-end, when doing registrations
- fixed a template that was in customize and should not
website_event_track:
- wording improvements
- small improvements in the front-end of tracks
Also removed most of the now-unused timezone functions.
Left get_server_timezone for now as it's visible over xmlrpc, but print
a deprecation warning if it's invoked.
website_slides: use the recently introduced website.published.mixin to
replace the website_published and website_url fields defined in various
remaining modules.
In slides, some templates have been updated because share_url was basically
website_url and has been replaced.
Use the option initial_mode of views when openning a view in 'edit' mode
at first rendering. This fixes a bug with FieldOne2Many widgets whose buttons
were not displayed at first rendering in 'edit' mode (e.g. in the Sales
Team FormView).
Without hidding view.$container, when coming back to Kanban or List
views, it was no more possible to click anywhere on those views.
Fixes the bug introduced by rev c465605049
Use uuid4 instead of uuid1 to get 128 bits of entropy.
Rename database.uuid.private to the more meaningful database.secret as it
explains the usage instead of the technical details to generate it. And we
might switch to a longer string with more entropy in the future.
This string can be used to sign cookies or token with
sign(src) -> (src, hash(src + secret))
check(msg) -> msg[1] == hash(msg[0] + secret)
The sidebar in view pivot was not hidden when switching from view pivot
to another view. Thus, the sidebar content of view pivot was still in a
dropdown of the sidebar of the new view (when this new view has a
sidebar as well).
Also changed the way of switching between views: we now first hide the
current view before creating and displaying the new one. This prevents
weird rendering in the header as well.
Moreover, the task of hidding/showing the view's buttons is left to the
view instead of the ViewManager.
User drops something on the keyboard > Inputs very large number unnoticed
> Bad things happen.
- Limit input lengths to 12
- Ring bell when exceeding that length
- Warn if the amount makes dubious business sense
- Block screen inputs when popup is active.
- Asserts to prevent edition of the order after validation. Just
in case.
