As we now have a new debug mode 'tests' which load a new asset bundle
containing tour-test files, we moved those files to a new folder hierarchy.
That will clean the .js files trees.
Also, those files should be included in the new asset.
Basically, the .js tour files (not test) should be inside /static/src/js/tours
while .js tour test files (test=true) should be inside /static/tests/tours next
to QUnit tests, inside a tours folder.
+ test_new_api: don't run the test in debug assets

Commit 98d0424 (merged in saas-12.1) fixed a Deprecated warning by using
`field_utils.parse.date` instead of relying on
moment to parse the date.
However, a datetime question type was added in saas-12.2.
When the fix commit was forward ported, the parsing of datetime
broke as `field_utils.parse.date` can't parse a datetime.
Fix: use `field_utils.parse.datetime` if `questiontype === 'datetime'`.
Also, defining `toJSON` method is no longer necessary because
it is already done in the field_utils methods.
The library moment.js does not support custom date formats anymore.
The following warning is given:
Deprecation warning: value provided is not in a recognized ISO format.
As a result, the moment contains 'Invalid Date',
which would remove possibility to complete a survey containing a date
in any format different than the default.

Purpose
=======
A date field not marked as "mandatory" could not be left blank in the survey.
That was caused by the form returning "Invalid date" instead of an
empty value when submitting.

Task #1902306
Purpose
=======
The "page" concept is now only present in the user interface.
Surveys are split in "sections" that have two purposes:
- Organizing a (long) survey/certification
- Allow to pick a random questions count for that section (more information here after)
On the user interface, based on the questions_layout field, surveys are displayed:
- On a single page, where sections still appear but are only used as visual separations
- On multiple pages, having one page per section (this matches the previous behavior)
- On multiple pages, having one page per *question*
On top of that page concept, this commit added randomization for the survey questions.
The randomization mechanism will take X questions per section of the survey.
The survey.user_input is initialized with the selected questions to be sure to keep that
set of questions and avoid showing a new set of questions every time the user refreshes the page.
This also allows to easilly go back and know which question we have to show.
Task #1902306
Purpose
=======
This commit adds certification capabilities to the survey module.
A certification is a survey with the "certification" flag set to true than can be linked
to a certification email template that contains a certification document (PDF).
This template can be edited by the user in the technical settings to customize the certification email/document.
To be able to implement this certification concept, we also have to add scoring mechanisms to surveys.
survey.questions of type 'simple_choice' and 'multiple_choice' now have scores for the suggested answers.
These question scores allow to compute a global score that is used to determine whether the user has successfully
passed the certification or not.
As additional features, we also have:
- A time limit with an interface timer that limits the test to X minutes
When reached, the survey is automatically submitted and unregistered (= unsubmitted) answers are not taken into account.
- A limited number of attempts for the survey/certification
If reached, the user can't take the survey/certification anymore
The 'survey result' layout was adapted accordingly to show the success rate of participants and the correct answers
to the survey questions.
Specs
=======
- Create a new survey :
- Add a description field for the survey
- Options on a survey :
- Passing score : (sum of all good answers) in %
- If No scoring => No passing score, no certificate
- If Scoring with answers => Passing score and can see the answers (can create certificate)
- If Scoring without answers => Passing score but can't review the answers at the end (can create certificate)
- for the questions, if "no scoring" selected, can 't see the option "good answer" and "score" on the questions
- If the 2 others options, can see the options "good answer" and "score" on the questions
- all the types of questions are available for each option.
- Questions
- Add the option correct answer on the multiples questions (one or more good answers)
- Certifications
- If scoring, force "mandatory" for "mutliple choices (1or multiple answers)"
- On the dashboard => visual information that this specific survey is a certification
- Time Limit : The student is informed on the home screen of the survey of the time limit.
The clock start when he clicks on "start survey"
- Template of the certificate : send email with attachment PDF
- Front-end :
- Add some margin
- Replace "Back to survey" with the blue-bar from the portal
- Add a timer (start when the survey starts)
- Add a progress bar (number of section and number of question inside the section)
- Analyse of the results :
- First a global graph with the number of people who''ve participated and passed the test
- Stages of a survey :
- Remove the stage "Permanent"
- 3 stages :
- draft : not on-line but can be tested (with phantom token)
- In progress : on-line
- closed : not on-line
- Who can test a survey : the manager and the user. Add this condition to the phantom token.
Purpose of this commit is to clean a bit the test mode of surveys before
working a bit on ACLs and survey access. Currently when taking a survey
with a magic 'phantom' token it generates a test answer allowing to go
through the survey process. However it has several drawbacks :
* 'phantom' is not a real token. Token parameter should be used only for
real tokens and avoid having corner case when managing simple parameter;
* token should only be used to ensure people have been granted access to
answering surveys;
* it is currently available for every users;
* it is pure unwanted magic;
In this commit we add a separate route for testing surveys that create the
test answer and then redirects to the survey with this answer. It is now
also limited to survey managers or survey officers testing their own surveys.
Survey JS tour now uses the standard URL and not the testing one. Indeed as
testing is now limited to survey officers and managers tour should test
real life use cases.
This commit is linked to task ID 1916034 and PR #29339.
Purpose of this commit is to provide a new simpler survey as demo data in
survey application. Current survey is about Odoo use which is not coherent
with the demo data set used currently in Odoo. It is now a survey about
ecommerce use with an example of each different questions.
Survey tour is updated accordingly. It now uses a standard routing instead
of the test route. Indeed purpose of tests is to use real life use case
not corner case like testing capabilities of survey application.

The configuration of question of type 'Date' was not used at all.
The datetimepicker configuration was hardcoded and did not take into
account the configuration of questions of type 'Date'.
Now, for each datetimepicker, we use the corresponding configuration
for min and max date.

Closes PR #28966
The prefill of the date field must be done after the initialisation,
otherwise, it would override the value. so prefill must be done inside
the .then to avoid prefill before the locale is ready.
Since the datetime are real datetime in DB, we cannot give real datetime
to JSON but string instead.
Finally, no need to keep the div class row. Otherwise, it would put everything
on same line and the jumbotorn div wouldn't be on top on the rest of the page.

Since BS4, input-group is used instead of form-controll.
The initialisation was not correctly made because it didn't find
the datetimepicker.
There were several resulting issues:
- Max and Min date were not taken into account
- Clicking on the text area of date field was not opening the
datetimepicker as config was not defined (allowInputToggle option)

Purpose of this commit is to use an access token to access survey instead
of their ID. Routes are updated to use that token instead of the survey ID.
Purpose is to have less discoverable routes and be able to control a bit more
survey access even if it is not really a security parameter.
Some renaming is performed to avoid confusion in terms. Survey token and
answer token are now clearly labeled differently in the code to know which
model we are working on.
Some templates are updated to directly use the answer as base record to
have access to token and test_entry fields instead of giving those parameter
values directly in the controller. It makes some more diff but also allow
easier edition and improvement in templates when having directly survey
and answer record available.

- Change the default value of the Validation Error message on
the Date : "The answer you entered is not valid."
- If long page, click on next and one error, the page should go up
to allow the visitor to see where the error is.

* auth_password_policy_signup, auth_signup, website, portal, survey,
web_unsplash, website
Following the new editor's merge at https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/29775
web_editor.base has been moved to website while it was still used by
frontend pages which do not depend on website (especially portal).
This commit moves web_editor.base to portal while waiting for
https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/29442. It also removes the unnecessary
dependencies to it in non-portal pages (in survey for example).
* Creating a new structure by transforming all the plugins in the
library using the odoo inheritance system. Plugins are easier to
implement with the AbstractPlugin to add Odoo behaviors.
* From now on, the methods of the library (in this case Summernote) can
no longer be called by other modules or files. Only the wysiwyg
widgets can access it, to simplify the updating process. The wysiwyg
object serves as an interface.
* Depending on the options the snippets will be loaded or not, the
editor will be in an iframe or not... all of this is transparent from
the outside.
* Regarding iframes, all controllers related to editing have been
removed: the new API no longer needs them. This speeds up loading,
eases testing and removes complexity for the same
features.
PUBLIC FEATURES
There are several public methods on the Wysiwyg class:
* Wysiwyg.prepare (WidgetParent): returns a deferred resolved when the
library (xml, lazy, assets...) is loaded.
* Wysiwyg.getRange (DOM): returns the range (selection in the dom)
* Wysiwyg.setRange (startNode, startOffset, endNode, endOffset): creates
a range (selection in the dom)
* Wysiwyg.setRangeFromNode (DOM, options) that creates a range from an
element (option available to select all, start or end)
A jQuery selector was added: :o_editable, which indicates whether the
current element is editable. That is, if it is contained in a tag with
the attribute 'contentEditable = "true"' or in a tag with the class
o_editable.
Several methods are also present:
* focusIn: makes a focus and places the cursor at the beginning of the
element
* focusInEnd: makes a focus and places the cursor at the end of the
element
* selectContent: makes a focus and selects the content
HTML FIELD
The HTML field can receive different options:
* style-inline: {boolean} transforms a class into an inline style when
saving and vice versa when reading.
* no-attachment: {boolean} prevents the use of attachments (in media
dialog)
* cssEdit: {xml_id} to use a template containing the css to loaded in
an iframe when editing
* cssReadonly: {xml_id} to use a template containing the css to load
into an iframe when viewing in readonly
* snippets: {xml_id} snippets template (can be used with or without
cssEdit)
* wrapper: {template} qweb static template (containing a tag:
id = "wrapper") that will include the content during editing (removed
on save)
MASS MAILING
A widget was created for mass mailing. There are now two fields:
body_html and body_arch.
body_arch contains the code with the class without conversion into
inline style, useful when editing and one with the inline style that is
visible in readonly mode and sent by email.
Advantage: no spreading errors, able to update css/theme, able to do
more changes when converting to inline style so that a maximum of mail
clients have an impeccable rendering.

Several applications have an index.html file that is used to fill the html
description of the module. However those descriptions are generally not
up to date: they contain outdated screenshots, feature descriptions are
not maintained, ...
Instead we just rely on the discover button that redirects on the application
website. It has more chance being up to date. Moreover updating a website
is easier than updating the index.html of a module.
This commit is related to task ID 47179 and 1861544. Related PR are #22689
and #25556. First one is about classic applications while second one is about
website applications.

The input-group-addon class has been replaced by a combination of the
input-group-text and the input-group-append/prepend classes. The
input-group-btn class is replaced by the input-group-append/prepend
classes.
The system completely changed. I also had to adapt classes to new
screen breakpoints.
hidden/hide -> d-none
show -> d-block
hidden-xs -> d-none d-md-(block/inline/...)
hidden-sm -> d-md-none d-lg-(block/inline/...)
hidden-md -> d-lg-none d-xl-(block/inline/...)
hidden-lg -> d-xl-none
visible-xs-* -> d-* d-md-none
visible-sm-* -> d-none d-md-* d-lg-none
visible-md-* -> d-none d-lg-* d-xl-none
visible-lg-* -> d-none d-xl-*
hidden-print -> d-print-none
visible-print-* -> d-none d-print-*
...
and all possible combination of those had to be handled too.
Since rev. odoo/odoo@cd05983 it was not possible to submit a survey if a date
field was empty (trying to set `toJSON` on `null`).
The datepicker `date` function returns `null` if no date has been selected.

Before this fix, the chatter always showed dates of messages in military time format.
This was not the expected behavior, as the user could have had customize
the date and time format in the settings of the current language.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Set Odoo in English
2. Settings > Translations > Languages > English
2.1. Set Date Format to %m/%d/%Y
2.2. Set Time Format to %I:%M:%S %p
3. CRM > (Select any opportunity with at least one message) > Mouse hover on elapsed time (e.g. "an hour ago")
Expected:
- It shows the customized time format (e.g. 11/07/2017 5:33:36 PM)
Results:
- It shows the military time format (e.g. Tue Nov 07 2017 17:33:36 GMT+0100)

This commit reviews the whole "JS side" of the web_editor and website
apps. This is a first step to be able to improve them with new and
better functionnalities; this commit is not supposed to change any
visual behavior.
The main goal was to achieve a structure similar to the backend one.
Now, the frontend side also has a root widget (like the WebClient)
and all other widgets are attached to it one way or another. This allows
the benefits of using the 'trigger_up' functionnality for example.
As RPC are now mainly done with the `this._rpc` functionnality (being
possible thanks to the parent hierarchy), the frontend will also be
possible to test thanks to QUnit in a future update (besides the "text"
editor side which still requires a refactoring to be able to do that).
---
Here are some of the changes:
(-) conventions and documentation
The code has been updated to follow JS conventions and a lot of code has
been commented (around +2000 lines of comment). This also means that
lots of functions have been renamed to use camelCase or simply to make
their name understandable.
See https://github.com/odoo/odoo/wiki/Javascript-coding-guidelines.
(-) deprecated: web_editor.base
The "web_editor.base" module has been split and does not force the
modules which require it to wait for DOM ready anymore. This was indeed
slowing loading times, but also prevented to use some modules in some
contexts (see the LESS editor use in web_studio which is the subject of
another task).
Now the "editor context" can be got thanks to the "web_editor.context"
JS module with its "get" function.
The "web_editor.base" module should probably not be used anymore (see
its code and recent updates).
(-) new: web.dom_ready
If a JS module should wait for the DOM to be ready to be executed, a
new JS module has been created: "web.dom_ready". This should always
be used in a module which only want to instantiate stuff. Do not
extend (or worst, include) classes after DOM ready.
(-) website.website
The "website.website" module has been split. "website.website" does not
return anything useful anymore, it just initialize some miscellaneous
stuff, without waiting for the DOM to be ready. You might want to check
"website.utils", "website.content.compatibility" or `WebsiteRoot`. Also
`website.form` has been deleted (use `this._rpc`), so has been
`website.error`. `website.prompt` will be removed in a future update to
be replaced by `Dialog.prompt`.
(-) widgets are great
Many classes which were not widgets are now widgets. This allows them to
use the 'events', the 'xmlDependencies' and the 'this._rpc' features for
example. Here are some of the main ones:
- Snippet options: these were classes with a `$el` for the menu element
and `$target` for the customized element. This is still the case
but following standard `Widget` structure (one exception: using
`this.$(...)` searches in the `$target` as before this update).
- Snippet animations: instead of class instances with a `$target`
element which can be `start` and `stop`, these are now standard
widgets which can be `start` and `destroy`. `this.$target` is
an alias to `this.$el` for ease of compatibility.
- Snippet editors: instead of class instances in charge of an editor
overlay, these are now widgets. Each "child" snippet editor is
properly attached as a "child", which allows editors to communicate
and to be properly destroyed.
(-) root widgets and website navbar
The frontend is different of the backend. In the backend, the page has
an empty <body/> element and all the components are instantiated from
parent to children (i.e. the `WebClient` is instantiated and is in
charge of instantiating the `ControlPanel`, etc). The frontend cannot
work like that on page loadings as they are way more frequent than in
the backend and we do not want them to flicker. A frontend page is
loaded as a <body/> element which already contains the website navbar
and its menus and the whole content page. JS code has to be "attached"
to these existing elements. This is possible thanks to the `RootWidget`
instances and the specialized `WebsiteRoot`, `IframeRoot` and
`WebsiteNavbar` (see code for details).
(-) lazy loading
No more (or at least a lot less) XML/JS has to be loaded on page
loading, thanks to the use of the `Widget.xmlDependencies` feature.
XML which have to be lazy loaded is loaded only on related Widget
instantiation if necessary, which allows to execute a lot of JS code
before the DOM is ready and to start many widgets on DOM ready (not
later). A visual benefit of this is clicking on the 'edit' button as
soon as it is possible: before this commit, this was sometimes not
doing anything as event handlers were not binded yet.
Still a possible exception: loading the session and locales. This may
be asynchronous stuff which is still required before widget
instantiations but this will be the subject of another task.
(-) deprecated code and code location
More than reviewing code and organizing it, many apparent dead code was
removed. More importantly, mislocated code was put in the right app.
This is the case for snippet animations which is a concept for website
apps but was defined in the web_editor app, or some translation concepts
which were part of website but should have been part of web_editor.
---
There are probably more things to say about this commit but I will let
the comments speak for those.
- ask questions about "Dates", not "Datetimes" anymore
- display dates according to website language
Thanks to Kinjal Mehta and Ravi Gadhia who contributed to this commit.

Commit https://github.com/odoo/enterprise/commit/8ac1c19fac7615fecd51e670f798d13158a4e53c
changed the odoo interface violet by changing the main LESS variable
but forgot there was many direct occurences in XML/HTML/... (for
example for the mobile browser color).
Even if it's community the odoo interface violet is used at many places
(module description, XML demo data, ...).
Frontend tours have to wait for base.ready() before starting otherwise
they can find DOM elements whose event handlers have not been attached
yet.
Note that this is a workaround to ignore these real "bugs" as users
should not be able to see buttons they can't click at once but there is
no safe and small fix which will resolve that. The time between the DOM
becomes visible and handlers are attached is small enough to ignore
this bug for now anyway.
