PURPOSE
Settings allow to change colors used in emails (primary and secondary colors).
Those are used for headers and buttons. They are currently shared with colors
used for base documents and reports layout: changing email colors change
documents colors, which is not expected nor clearly indicated.
SPECIFICATIONS
Split configuration: colors used in documents may differ from colors used in
emails. Duplicate color fields (primary and secondary). To ease setup when
updating documents colors, update mail colors accordingly. Inverse is not
true as we consider documents being the main configuration, and emails a
more fine-grain configuration.

- Improve performances, as the ir.rule restricting private partners
visibility is also applied on res.users by inheritance, on each
prefetch.
- Solve the issue of partners set as followers on records (eg: application
form) and then made private, making them impossible to contact via the
chatter.
- Solve the multiple access issues when trying to access the bank
account, or the private address for non HR people like the accountants
forcing the usage of sudo in the business code.

This commit adds a GIF picker in discuss
app. GIF feature makes use of Tenor GIF API [1].
To enable GIF picker in discuss, you must provide
a Tenor GIF API key in the General Settings.
Then the GIF picker is visible in all channels
(chat window and discuss app), next to the emoji picker
button.

The introduction of Milk has brought new app icons.
Using the svg format creates a lack of anti-aliasing on the edges of the
shapes, which makes the icons look bad.
Since the png size has been reduced, we can afford to use the png format

This commit fixes the ribbons used in `kanban` and `form` views.
The SCSS uses the square root of the parent `div.ribbon` to calculate its
diagonal width and applies that width to the child `span`.
After changing the ribbon's transform-origin, we calculate the ribbon's
position based on CSS variables of the view's top padding,the height of
the ribbon and the shadow's size (to avoid it being cropped by
overflow-hidden).
By changing the values of a few of these variables in the kanban view,
we were able to remove all the specific SCSS related to ribbons in the
modules.
Other changes were applied inside some of the modules to make this
work:
- `event`: padding corrections on the kanban's cards;
- `hr_holidays: replaced `margin:0` in the SCSS with negative margin
utility classes on the element to achieve the same visual result;
- `discuss`: moved the ribbon to the parent element;
- this was also done to `discuss`, `survey` and `helpdesk`;
- `crm_team_view` in `sales_team`: the ribbon's height made it overflow
from the kanban's card. We fixed this by changing the value of one of
the CSS variables in the view's SCSS file;
- the same thing was done in `survey` and `appointment`;
- `website_event_exhibitor` had some SCSS that wasn't being used because
it uses `.o_ribbon` instead of `.ribbon`

Allow partner to unfollow a document from a follow up email of that document
through an unsubscribe URL in the email even if not connected.
It works for internal user for follow up on any document and for any partner on
follow up of document tagged as authorizing being unfollowed by any partner (
slide.channel and slide.slide).
Technical note:
The unfollow block is rendered in mail_thread and updated for each recipient in
mail_mail. We don't render it in mail_mail because we don't have the language
of the message at that point.
Depending on the partner and the related document, the unfollow block is:
- either removed if the user cannot unfollow the document (for example if it
doesn't follow it)
- or updated with partner and document information + a security token

Currently, the alias domain can only be set by selecting:
'Custom Email Server' in the settings.
This does not make sense for users of pre-configured databases who
just want to use the default server with their own domain.
We move the domain to its own setting to prevent confusion.
As people are not always aware they can just set a domain without

5. Close Studio
6. Edit the signature and save
7. No message appears in the chatter to track the value

Purpose
=======
The bounce emails aren't stored in Odoo, which can complicate the
debugging of the email sending.
Now, we store this bounce email, and we allow the user to read it from
the interface, so he can easily find the issue when an email sending
fail.
Specifications
==============
The bounce email is stored on the mail notification for standard emails
sending, and on the mailing traces when using mass mailing.
For some email providers (e.g. Yahoo), the "Final-Recipient" header is
not present. Normally, it allows us to retrieve the original recipient
of the email which bounced and then the partner. So if this header is
not there in a bounce email, we take the first recipient of the parent
<mail.message>.
Change the way that we parse the email body, for the bounce email.
For most email providers, the first mail body is the one that contains
the error and the next one contains the parent email body. So, the
current logic might ignore this body for Outlook and Yahoo.

Bug
===
The unlink of the <mail.mail> in the CRON is problematic because we
accumulate a lot of records, and the CRON timeout.
In particular, when we sent a mailing, we receive the "opened" event
(blank image in the email), and so we need to update the mailing trace.
But, if we unlink the mail at the same time, it locked the mailing trace
table and we couldn't write the new value.
The reason for that is that before, the unlink took more queries, but
it was done one record at a time, so we could commit the change and
release the lock between each unlink.

Improve usage of composer in comment or email mode: support batch-posting in

SPECIFICATIONS
Update report_template field on template model to be a many2many field instead
of a many2one. It allows to attach multiple dynamic reports to a given template
instead of being limited to a single one.
Name should now come from the report itself, which should be considered as
complete by itself. Template cannot override report naming anymore.

Improve usage of composer in comment or email mode: support batch-posting in
comment, support more configuration from templates, improve global model.
SPECIFICATIONS
Support a real res_ids field on mail.compose.message model. Instead of relying
on active_ids from context, store it once for all at composer level and use
it in code. Active_ids usage is still done at default_get level, using it to
populate the field.
Improve usage of domain, renamed to res_domain to match other document related
fields naming. Add support of a res_domain_user_id field allowing to set the
user from which the domain should be evaluated.
Composer now runs on a list of IDs. Mass mail mode and comment mode are now
distinct from running on a singleton or on more records. Rendered or raw
mode is not triggered by
* mass mailing mode: always display raw mode, whatever the number of records;
* comment mode: display rendered mode when having a single record (like the
previous comment mode). Display raw mode when having either no records
either at least two records.

Purpose of this commit is to be explicit in subtype chosen when invoking the
message composer / calling message_post. As default value may not always be
clear, better be explicit in case the composer default value changes.
SPECIFICATIONS
Add explicit references to subtype when it is not obvious what will be the
final subtype, notably when using helpers (post_with_view or template which
uses the composer that is not crystal clear in its subtype management).
In this commit we also add support of XMLID-based subtype when invoking the
composer. A ``default_subtype_xmlid`` context key is transformed into a
``default_subtype_id``, to be used notably in JS where we cannot easily
use a ``ref``-like statement. Post API now also supports 'subytpe_xmlid'
argument allowing to give the xml id and ease calling the methods.
Use ``_xmlid_to_res_id`` to get directly the ID of subtypes in order to
avoid useless queries from ``ref`` that does an exists.
Also remove useless values given to post API, notably author_id that is by
default the current users' partner.

Warn user and alias responsible when model creation fails on incoming
message due to alias mis-configuration.
Alias custom default values that references archived or deleted records can
prevent the record to be created when receiving an email.
Unfortunately, correcting values on the fly has too many downsides:
- as the value cannot come from nowhere, we would probably end up with
corrupted record like a task without a project
- as errors are silent, lots of suboptimal record could be created before it
is corrected
- as the code would have to deal with different kind of updates, it would be
heavily depend on the framework meaning additional maintenance cost
- the attempt made had also a performance cost by using savepoint which we
want to avoid
For all those reasons, we have decided to warm the user rather than trying to
solve the problem automatically.
The users are warned:
- through a bounce email sent to the sender and alias responsible
- in the alias interface through an alias status present in the list and the
form view
Technical notes:
- They are multiple kind of errors: error in the message (ex.: user not
authorized to send to a specific alias), error in the alias (ex.: dangling
reference in alias_defaults), other error (ex: technical error like a
service unavailable when receiving the message). Here, we want only to detect
alias error and skip other errors. So rather than doing a big try except around
_message_route_process, we have selected the spot where we should detect alias
error:
-- in _alias_get_error_message where we distinct a message error from an alias
error
-- in inside _message_route_process where record are created using
alias_defaults (custom values with reference to record that might have been
deleted since the alias creation)
- In test, we call mail.thread message_process with sudo as it is the case in
real use case (processed when fetching mail). It is needed as in some test
alias status are modified.

The aim of this commit is to simplify and standardize the settings archs.
To do this, a small DSL exclusively for the settings was created. This
new DSL introduces 3 tags: `app`, `block` and `setting`.
The `app` tag is used to declare the application on the settings view.
It creates an entry with its logo on the sidebar of the view. It also
acts as delimiter when searching.
```xml
<app string="CRM" name="crm">
...
</app>
```
- `string` : The "display" name of the application.
- `name` : The technical name of the application (the name of the module).
- `logo` *optional* : The relative path to the logo. If not set, the
logo is created using the `name` parameter :
`/{name}/static/description/icon.png`.
The `block` tag is used to declare a group of settings. This group can
have a title and a description/help.
```xml
<block title="Title of group Bar">
...
</block>
```
- `title` *optional* : The title of the block of settings (the old h2),
you can perform research on its text.
- `help` *optional* : The description/help of the block of settings
(the old h3), you can perform research on its text.
The `setting` tag is used to declare the setting itself. The first field
in the setting is used as the main field (optional). This field is
placed on the left panel (if it's a boolean field) or on the top of the
right panel (otherwise). The field is also used to create the setting
label if a `string` is not defined. The `setting` tag can also contain
more elements (e.g. html), all of these elements are rendered in the
right panel.
```xml
<setting string="this is bar">
<field name="bar"/>
...More elements
</setting>
```
- `type` *optional* : By default, a setting is visually separated on two
panels (left and right), and is used to edit a given field. By
defining `type='header'`, a special kind of setting is rendered
instead. This setting is used to modify the scope of the other
settings. For example, on the website application, this setting
is used to indicate to which website the other settings apply.
The header setting is visually represented as a yellow banner on
the top of the screen.
- `string` *optional* : The text used as label of the setting. If it's
not defined, the first field is used as label.
- `title` *optional* : The text used as tooltip.
- `help` *optional* : The help/description of the setting. This text is
displayed just below the setting label (with classname
`text-muted`).
- `company_dependent` *optional* : If this attribute is set to "1" an
icon is displayed next to the setting label to explicit that
this setting is company-specific.
- `documentation` *optional* : If this attribute is set, an icon is
added next to the setting label, this icon is a link to the
documentation. Note that you can use relative or absolute path.
The relative path is relative to
`https://www.odoo.com/documentation/server_version`, so it's not
necessary to hard-code the server version on the arch anymore.
