The 'Dialog' class is used in both backend and frontend. Also, lots of
actions can be done without the use of any modal. It thus makes sense
to lazy load its related xml only when a first modal is opened.
This change also allows to get rid of the "base_common.xml" file as the
dialog template is the only remaining one in there and, in the future
website update, it will allow to not load any static XML file on website
page loadings.
The commit 5854bb7d12 introduces a new option
to drag element without dropping them.
But it's not allowed to start a new drag and drop until the first one is
completely done.
So when the element is removed from the dom (the test is finished), we complete
the drag and drop in order to let next tests perform drag and drop.
In some situations, it would be desirable to be able to attempt a drag
and drop, without actually triggering the dropping action. As an
example, we would like to see whether dragging a new field in studio
ensures that a class 'o_web_studio_nearest_hook' be assigned. This can
only be tested *before* the new field is dropped.
This commit adds an optional argument 'disableDrop' to the
dragAndDrop method, and sets it by default to false. The dropping action
will then only be triggered if the aforementioned parameter is set to
false.
Fixes two issues in the test environment:
- for unset fields, the mockRead is supposed to return 0 (numerical
fields), empty array (x2many fields) or false (otherwise). Except
for the first case, it was returning undefined, and this might
cause crashes when evaluating contexts or domains.
- the mock environment allows overriding some global properties
like the session, for the test case only. Once the widget is
destroyed, those global properties are reset to their original
value. This wasn't working for models tests, because the destroy
function of the parent widget was never called. This could make
tests fail as they could have been impacted by other tests.
The ModelFieldSelector keeps an internal cache for the fields_get.
This cache needs to be cleared in the tests environment because
a model with the same name may be defined several times accross the
tests modules, but they may contain different fields.
This could also be a problem with studio: when a field is created,
the ModelFieldSelector cache must be cleared as well (in addition
to the data_manager one).
We thus introduce a new 'clear_cache' event on core.bus. When
triggered, the ModelFieldSelector and the data_manager clear their
respective cache.
We use this event in the test environment to ensure that the cache
is cleared at the end of each test using a mockEnvironment. This
rev. also fixes an infinite loop in the override of destroy() in
the mockEnvironment, which occured when both session and config
were specified in the params.
The autofocus worked fine when switching from 'readonly' to 'edit',
but not when clicking on 'Create' from the multi-record view. This
was because in this case, we were trying to focus the field while
the view wasn't in the DOM yet. This rev. ensures that we wait for
the view to be appended to the DOM before trying to set the focus
on the default field.
Also ensures that the first visible field is correctly focused.
Before this rev., if the first field was invisible (or simply
not focusable), no field was focused.
Credit goes to @msh-odoo for the preliminary work.
We fix in this commit three small issues in the test framework.
1. throw an explicit error when we try to do a fieldviewget in the mock
server with a model that does not exist. This will make it easier to
figure out what went wrong when copy pasting a test from one file into
another, and forgetting to change the model in the createView parameters
2. wrap the result of special methods in the mock server in a deferred,
so we can simply return a value when using that functionality. Also, it
is more consistent with the rest of the mock server
3. for iframes, we no longer change the src attribute to #test:url.
This had the problem of actually loading the page. Instead, we change
it into about:blank and we copy the old url into the data-src attribute for
reference.
- Fix the toolbar behaviour since there is no more dataset in the widget.
- Improve the communication beetwen the controller and the toolbar.
- Move the code linked to the document upload in the right file.
- Adapt the tests to mock the search_read done by ´document´ addon
- Adapt the mock server to be able to give a custom toolbar action
Traceback when:
* click on first row of calendar
* move an event somewhere else with drag and drop
* click on the mini calendar
* filter from the control panel triggers a traceback
* add an attendee: traceback
* day/week/month: traceback
* cannot add a leave, the fromViewDialog does not open
* one day oo server-side when select all day
The client must receive the tzOffset to apply this on all hours.
To use the date picker we must change the date to apply the change
in the user's tzOffset, without this change the result is wrong.
For datetime widget we must change like it to avoid max stack error.
The server send the tzOffset, if it's undefined, by default the client
use the browser time offset.
Every test are change to use tzOffset.
A test is added in calendar to use the click by position for the
fullcalendar lib. This test create and drag and drop an event to check
timezone error and error when we use default value in the context.
Use formating date like 2026-04-04T08:00:00Z instead of 2026-04-04 08:00:00
is important for phantomjs, because it's crash without information if the
formating is not the standard format.
For the parsing, when the client receive a server date the date is utc
formating but when it's parsed from the client is in the user's timezone
