The aim of this commit is to simplify and standardize the settings archs.
To do this, a small DSL exclusively for the settings was created. This
new DSL introduces 3 tags: `app`, `block` and `setting`.
The `app` tag is used to declare the application on the settings view.
It creates an entry with its logo on the sidebar of the view. It also
acts as delimiter when searching.
```xml
<app string="CRM" name="crm">
...
</app>
```
- `string` : The "display" name of the application.
- `name` : The technical name of the application (the name of the module).
- `logo` *optional* : The relative path to the logo. If not set, the
logo is created using the `name` parameter :
`/{name}/static/description/icon.png`.
The `block` tag is used to declare a group of settings. This group can
have a title and a description/help.
```xml
<block title="Title of group Bar">
...
</block>
```
- `title` *optional* : The title of the block of settings (the old h2),
you can perform research on its text.
- `help` *optional* : The description/help of the block of settings
(the old h3), you can perform research on its text.
The `setting` tag is used to declare the setting itself. The first field
in the setting is used as the main field (optional). This field is
placed on the left panel (if it's a boolean field) or on the top of the
right panel (otherwise). The field is also used to create the setting
label if a `string` is not defined. The `setting` tag can also contain
more elements (e.g. html), all of these elements are rendered in the
right panel.
```xml
<setting string="this is bar">
<field name="bar"/>
...More elements
</setting>
```
- `type` *optional* : By default, a setting is visually separated on two
panels (left and right), and is used to edit a given field. By
defining `type='header'`, a special kind of setting is rendered
instead. This setting is used to modify the scope of the other
settings. For example, on the website application, this setting
is used to indicate to which website the other settings apply.
The header setting is visually represented as a yellow banner on
the top of the screen.
- `string` *optional* : The text used as label of the setting. If it's
not defined, the first field is used as label.
- `title` *optional* : The text used as tooltip.
- `help` *optional* : The help/description of the setting. This text is
displayed just below the setting label (with classname
`text-muted`).
- `company_dependent` *optional* : If this attribute is set to "1" an
icon is displayed next to the setting label to explicit that
this setting is company-specific.
- `documentation` *optional* : If this attribute is set, an icon is
added next to the setting label, this icon is a link to the
documentation. Note that you can use relative or absolute path.
The relative path is relative to
`https://www.odoo.com/documentation/server_version`, so it's not
necessary to hard-code the server version on the arch anymore.

Short summary:
- People can now use the snippets option to show/hide based on country
- We never use / test / maintain this feature, if it still works since
its introduction 4 years ago that's by luck
- It is probably barely used, we never got a single question or issue
about it
-----------
When we introduced the multi-website feature, it came with 2 main use
cases:
1. Multi website by domain -> Every website has its own domain and based
on that we serve the expected website
2. Multi website by geoip -> Multiple website can have the same domain
and based on GEOIP/country we serve the expected website
We never really supported, highlighted or promoted the geoip case.
We actually never use it ourselves when doing tests, and we don't
consider it when doing specs / improvements.
At most, only a very few people know about it in Odoo.
That GEOIP case is probably not useful at all, as displaying a whole new
website based on lang is not easy since nothing can be shared out of the
box -> Every website has its own COW records.
For instance, one could think of having its main website A and another
website B on which he just added 3 products specific to that website B
country.
But such a case won't even work properly, as any adaption on website A
won't be reflected on website B (design, theme etc).

This was introduced alongside the introduction of the cookies bar in
odoo with [1].
It's not something we wanted but for some internal reason, we were not
allowed to introduce the cookies bar on the website without that warning
when enabling the settings (which also comes with Cancel button as
primary button..).
The compromise was accepted as having a cookies bar was something we
really needed.
It has now been accepted to get rid of it.
While some internal people still think we should educate people about
GDPR and cookies law, I doubt that this settings was the right place to
do it.
Indeed, it was more leading to bad UX as most people just clicked on
"activate anyway" without realizing they still had to save the settings
afterward.

Before this commit, only a website.page could be used as a custom
homepage ('custom' meaning other than '/').
But it is a real use case and requirement for our users to be able to
select a controller as homepage.
For instance, an ecommerce would want its homepage to be the shop and
not a regular page from where you then have to navigate to the shop.
Right now, this can (almost) be achieved by doing some technical
advanced operations:
- Move the 'Shop' menu first in the menu navbar of the website
- Delete the specific '/' website.page for the website
- Delete the generic '/' website.page (no website_id)
That way, the system will redirect `/` to `/shop`, which is not ideal as
it should remain `/` in the URL.
That's because, until now, the homepage (`/` controller) serve order
was:
- Serve the website.page set as homepage (`website.homepage_id`),
happens when one did select another page as homepage through the page
properties dialog
- Serve the website.page having `/` as URL (default)
- Serve the first accessible menu if there no `/` page or other page set
as homepage, it acts as a last resort attempt to not serve a 404 and
to try serving relevant content (the first menu of a website is most
likely always better than a 404)
- Serve 404
This commit allows to introduce an URL as homepage, instead of only a
website.page. It can be done through the website settings in the
backend.
There is 2 main points to keep in mind about serving the homepage:
- make sure we don't serve a 404 as the website homepage. This is the
website entry point, serving a 404 is terrible. That's why we have
some fallback mechanism like serving the first menu.
- We need to serve / before fallbacking to the first menu, as a lot of
site just remove the 'Home' first menu since it is a duplicate of the
logo, which also redirect to the homepage. In such cases, it doesn't
mean that the user want his first menu to be the homepage. We
shouldn't rely on such a behavior, it should just be used as a last
resort.
With this commit, the homepage serve order is now:
- If homepage URL is set (empty by default), serve the website.page
matching it
- If homepage URL is set (empty by default), serve the controller
matching it
- If homepage URL is not set, serve the `/` website.page
- Serve the first accessible menu as last resort. It should be relevant
content, at least better than a 404
- Serve 404
Most DBs will just have a website.page with '/' as URL and keep the
homepage_url setting empty.

When searching a text of a hidden field (for example, "gate"), the
setting itself will not be shown, but the group title, and the app
Search Header will be shown.
This issue arise because, we use an if condition with all the label of
all the fields (hidden or not) in the group (or app) to decide if the
group title or the app header will be showed.
Now, we modify this to hide (d-none) the group title or the app header
if there is not a settings below them.

The goal of this revision is to get rid of the `groups_id` field of the model `ir.ui.view`.
- This feature wasn't really known or used by most developers,
and not straight-forward to understand.
Removing it allows one less complicated thing to learn for developers.
Besides, thanks to odoo/odoo#95729,
changing the behavior of the `groups=` attribute,
we can easily get rid of this `groups_id` feature
by simply adding `groups=` in the elements of the views
using the `groups_id` field, it will have the same effect:
adding the elements in the view only for the users part of the specified group.
- By getting rid of the groups_id many2many field on ir.ui.view,
it makes possible to cache the view architecture without
requiring to use the groups in the cache key.
Currently, if we want to cache the view architecture,
it would be required to use the intersection of the user
groups with the groups_id groups of the view,
making it costly to compute the cache key,
therefore altering the performance point to cache the view
architectures.

This commit fixes the style of the settings affected
by changes during the conversion to Owl.
Because of the new DOM of fields, some elements displayed
using the 'row' class were not horizontally aligned
because of the changes made to the DOM of the field that
were used. As the layout have changed, it was needed to
adapt and add new styling class in the template.

==== Short version ====
Google is deprecating Universal Analytics in July 2023 and Google
Sign-In in March 2023. Google Analytics Embed API is based on Sign-In,
meaning it won't work anymore. It actually already doesn't work anymore
for accounts created somewhere after mid-2020 apparently.
There is no plan for now for Google to allow Analytics 4 dashboard to be
embed in external website.
We therefore can't do anything to keep the Google Analytics dashboard in
Odoo.
In previous stable version, it was kept but is displaying a warning
about it (as until mid 2023 old accounts can still embed it).
All this is about the embed dashboard, not the tracking in itself for
which Odoo is already adapted in Odoo 15.0 for Analytics 4.
==== Detailed version (following short version, read it first) ====
- Universal Analytics EOL July 2023, see [1].
- It will be replaced by Analytics 4 for which Odoo is already ready and
actually using it since version 15.0 with [2].
- Google Sign-In EOL March 2023, see [3]. Analytics Embed API was based
on it, it won't work anymore.
- There is no plan (for now) for Google to allow Analytics 4 to be able
to be embed in external websites. They seem to just have dropped the
"feature".
This was confirmed by Google here [4] and indirectly here [5] in the
DOC:
`Note: This API does not support Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties`
- While the EOL is planed for 2023, the dashboard integration is already
not working anymore for new accounts.
- Old projects/keys/accounts can still embed their analytics dashboard.
The threshold seems to be somewhere mid-2020, according to [6].
It seems to be accurate as my own key from 2018 still works, while my
keys from 2021 do not.
==== Fix ====
- In stable, warn user about it in their Odoo Analytics dashboard (this
PR) and also add a warning about that on the doc.
- In master, simply drop the whole google analytics dashboard
integration and remove the doc about it, see [7].

Finally, note that it means that from July 2023 to Octobre 2023, while
Odoo 14.0 is still supported, Google Analytics won't work anymore in
that version as it will still be designed for Universal Analytics and
not Analytics 4.

This commit moves the settings form view implementation from base

The setting's search has been improved to take into account more

labels. Now, we can also search on the field's description, and
the titles of setting's group.

* restore position relative:
> Columns no longer have position: relative applied, so you may have to
> add .position-relative to some elements to restore that behavior.
https://getbootstrap.com/docs/5.1/migration/#grid-updates
Example:
Favorite widget isn't shown on the right location due to change
in Boostrap 5, so we restore the old positioning of the `.col`
PS: another fix is to simply remove the position absolute of
`.o_favorite` but its break the favorite in kanban project.
* remove usage of `width` in kanban image when `col` is also used:
The class `o_kanban_image` is
```css
.o_kanban_image {
width: 64px;
}
```
In BS4 the col rules are:
```css
.col-4 {
flex: 0 0 33.33333333%;
max-width: 33.33333333%;
}
```
and in BS5:
```css
.col-4 {
-webkit-box-flex: 0;
-webkit-flex: 0 0 auto;
flex: 0 0 auto;
width: 33.33333333%;
}
```
So `width` overrides the `col` rules.
To summarize:
In BS4
```css
{
max-width: 33.33333333%;
width: 64px;
}
```
In BS5
```css
{
width: 33.33333333%;
width: 64px;
}
```

For bugfix purposes, app administration groups have been given to
(implied by) the "Settings" group because without those rights,
opening/saving the settings crashed.
1) Do not load hidden view content
This commit uses the conditional inheritance of views
(depending on user groups) to avoid loading unnecessary view
& record content client-side.
This improves performance for admins without the specific application
admin rights, but also fixes the main bugfix problem,
caused by the webclient querying name_get for the records in relational
fields content.
Example:
sale_management adds a res.config.settings field to specify
the default sale.order.template for the current company.
If a 'Settings' user without 'sale.group_sale_manager' opens the
settings, he won't see this setting, but if a default template is
specified for the current company, the webclient will still request
the name_get of this template to the server, because the field
was present in the view, only hidden with a groups attribute.
With this commit change in sale, the field won't be in the view unless
you have the Sale manager group, avoiding the error/traceback/bug.
2) Remove implied application administration groups
Do not force the specific application groups on all 'Settings' user,
they globally do not need those rights, and if they need it, they
can add it to their account themselves.
3) Add a test to make sure settings user are able to manage settings.
4) Enforce 'settings' -> 'access rights' -> 'internal user' groups
As the previous test highlighted some 'false positives' because
it considered a settings user unable to read `crm.team`
and `stock.warehouse` records, we also took the opportunity to enforce
the fact that 'Settings' & 'Access rights' users must be internal users.
It makes no sense for a portal/public user to have access to the
settings, and didn't work anyway.

This commit add the way to specify the Plausible shared key auth token and
the plausible domain on your website to have the Plausible Dashboard integrated
in your Website > Dashboard > Analytics menu.
Some custom event are already pre-configured as:
Push an event 'Shop' on confirmation on ecommerce (with amount bucket +/- 50)
Push an event 'Lead Generation' on:
'Thank you' page of contactus
Confirmation of subscription for an event
From this way, the end user can just add a goal 'Lead Generation'
or 'Shop' on Plausible to have the Goal values visible.

But the domain field is useful to set even if there is only one website.
For instance, if no domain is specified, the web.base.url ICP will be used

This commit introduce multiple improvements regarding social image:
- (perf) Don't read ir.attachment through `social_default_image` when it is
not needed. Use a stored boolean to know if the field should be accessed.
This will remove one SQL query in attachment for public user.
- Show website logo, not the company logo since we now have a different logo
for website.
- Don't show images lower than 200 width or 200 height px. Logo will be
shown regardless of his size.
- Don't show website logo if there is a website social_default_image.
Indeed, the spec was to prevent showing logo and social_default_image if
they are the same image. Technically, this is hard to identify as they
could be the same image uploaded with different resolutions (media dialog),
especially if one of those was uploaded through the backend and one from
the frontend.
It is most likely we will never correctly identify duplicate as they won't
be exactly the same.
For this reason, it makes more sense to hide the website logo if the
social_default_image is set. It avoids every issues while it makes sense
since you won't want to use the logo over the social_default_image. If you
really want to, you could reupload it through the SEO media dialog.

Before this commit, There would be a crash if the user tries to remove `website_company_id` from Website configuration as It is used in Backend.
With this commit, we make `website_company_id` required if the Website is set.

Since 11 June 2018, enabling Billing on your Google Project used for
showing static maps is required.
So you would follow the only direction of Odoo "Create a Google Project
and Get a Key" and nothing would work since you still need to enable
billing.
With this changeset, we add a link to the Google page explaining maps
billing costs, current free usage tier and so on. And on this page the
"Get started" button will enable billing if needed.
There is another page with deeper explanation but it is very technical
and currently only available in english:
https://developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started
note: also improve text of has_google_maps option

With this commit, it is now possible to activate a cookies bar on a
website through the res.settings.
The cookies bar can be edited in the frontend by entering edit mode.
The cookies bar will appear until the user clicks on 'I agree'.

You need to provide a small part of the code, because to avoid fraud, google
make several request to be sure that you don't allow all codes :)
So the 'WPS' solution was dropped, now we take the first request from google
that match the part provided, as the good one, and refuse all others requests.

After this commit, you will be able (in technical mode) to update the url for
the python controllers.
Eg.
You can now rename /shop in /garden and /shop/product/ in /garden/vegetable/
Most of urls will be replaced at fly in the renderd qweb, with the function
url_for but all old urls will keep available. So if you access url /shop you
will be automatically redirected to /garden (308 Permanent Redirect).
As for cdn and other post-process of att, the automatically replacement in the
rendered qweb is only done when you will be not website editor. But the new
dispatch of URL will be applied in all cases.
For developper, since it is Permanent Redirect, don't forget to clear cache or
open chrome debug tool (with option 'Disable cache while DevTools is Open) to
see your lasts changes.
