Purpose
=======
Clean some stuff on the onboarding bars:
- Payment setting should be activated in sales settings if a payment acquirer is
activated from the sales bar, otherwise the customer can't pay with the acquirer
- No email is sent with sample documents -> sending to yourself using the chatter doesn't work...
- Select "sign online" by default
- Improve payment instructions
- Improve the default thank you message on payment acquirer accordingly (when no bank defined)
- Choose a custom payment method -> mark the step as done
- Improve buttons wording:
- Put a pointer cursor when hovering on done steps
- Fix typo : instructions -> Instructions
- Fix layout issue on tax screen
Before this rev. one could set the report layout on the company using a
hardcoded list (background, clean, standard, etc.). Other modules (typically
accounting modules) could add options in this list. The used template was built
on the layout key.
Now, the layout is a many2one field to a newly created model `report.layout`,
which is linked to a view with the layout architecture.
This gives more control to customize reports and create a new layout (without
creating a python module that extend the layout selection).
[NEW] base: show enterprise module, with an 'upgrade' button
[IMP] *: some modules renaming, and improved copywriting of manifest
[IMP] *: utm on links to odoo.com
Odoo used to declare two main colors: primary and optional (which are
purple and turquoise in enterprise). Those were respectively assigned
to the 'primary' bootstrap variable and the 'btn-primary' bootstrap
variable.
BS4, however, does not allow to have a different primary color for
buttons. Instead, the 'primary' color is used for all 'primary' related
components and utility classes, same as for all other colors. So, if we
want to keep our enterprise buttons green, our 'optional' colors had to
become our 'primary' color. The old odoo primary is then renamed to the
'odoo' color.
The palette of grays is now larger by default and is numbered from 100 to
900 alongside the $black and $white variables. The equivalence for older
variables and the way we used them is:
$gray-darker -> gray 900 (unused before)
$gray-dark -> gray 900
$gray -> gray 700
$gray-light -> gray 600
$gray-lighter-darker -> gray 400 (the old variable was created by us)
$gray-lighter-dark -> gray 300 (the old variable was created by us)
$gray-lighter -> gray 200
Fortunately, the 'lighter' variations we created fit well in the default
BS4 system ! Unfortunately, our $gray-lighter which carried the same
function as $gray-200 (see above) is very close to the new default
$gray-100 and quite distant from the new $gray-200. This will be handled
in the next commit.
media queries that target a specific screen size handled by bootstrap
have now a more convenient way to be defined:
```
@media (min-width: $screen-sm-min) { ... }
->
@include media-breakpoint-up(sm) { ... }
```
```
@media (max-width: $screen-sm-max) { ... }
->
@include media-breakpoint-down(sm) { ... }
```
```
@media (min-width: $screen-sm-min) and (max-width: $screen-sm-max) { ... }
->
@include media-breakpoint-only(sm) { ... }
```
```
@media (min-width: $screen-sm-min) and (max-width: $screen-md-max) { ... }
->
@include media-breakpoint-between(sm, md) { ... }
```
Also, bootstrap has changed the values for its default screen sizes:
------------------
| BS3 | BS4 |
------------------
0 | XS | XS | -> Portrait Mobile
576 | / | SM | -> Landscape Mobile
768 | SM | MD | -> Portrait Tablet
992 | MD | LG | -> Landscape Tablet / Small Desktop
1200 | LG | XL | -> Desktop
------------------
While it is possible to configure BS variables to behave as BS3, we took
the decision to keep the BS4 variables untouched. BS4 system seems
indeed better and having the purest bootstrap possible is better for
Odoo to be used as a framework.
BS4 do not provide vendor prefixes scss mixins anymore as it is meant
to be used with the 'autoprefixer' library. As we only support the last
version of every major browsers in Odoo, we took the decision to not
use the library as it was also complex to integrate in Odoo. We decided
to do the library's work by hand if it ever become necessary.
- Update all the pictures
- Rename the partners with a name that is easy to say for an English speaker (No more 'Agwoleight')
- Update all the addresses/phone numbers in the american format
- Unify the demo data with the new theme (Wood shop/manufacture,...)
Task 40692
Various changes to import/export (mainly) UIs:
* default to excel & "full" (non-import-compatible) export
* auto-detect encoding of CSV using chardet
* remember column -> field mapping after having imported a file (useful
for repeated imports where auto-matching failed)
* better handle localised booleans & column names
* automatically select source list view's fields when exporting
* better integrate import templates feature and add a number of templates
Before this commit, something strange could happen after reloading a
settings form view: all 'sections' were displayed. The issue was caused
by the fact that the state of the view was read from the arch of the
form view at render time. Also, as a form of optimization (I suppose), the
settings did not call the initModules method twice, when it rerenders.
This is unfortunate, because the very same method is actually
responsible for removing unused sections.
This fix is the safe fix, but definitely not the perfect fix (this would
involve a larger change, something like reading the state from the arch once in
the view (factory), then only rendering what is necessary).
The settings view is supposed to open a new record on the model
res.config.settings, perform the default_get and onchange calls, then
display the result.
However, once this is done, if the user then clicked on some links
(which do save the current record and navigate to another action), then
click on the breadcrumbs to come back to the settings view, then the
settings view will reload the current record, which has an id, and this
also will update the url.
This could be a problem. For example, in a multicompany settings,
reloading a settings view from an id will reload the settings for a
given company, even if the user changed its current company.
To fix this issue, we make sure the basic model for the settings view
'forgets' the res_id key, so it will be compelled to actually reread a
new settings form record.
Before this commit, search was broken because containsLike was searching on
the innerHtml. (3dd93ed129)
Settings use _wordHighlighter to change the background of the matching text
into the label, so the label was not only text, but html.
<label><span class="highlighter">Mul</span>ti-company</label>
: looking for (mul)
After this commit, the match is based on the text content and not on the html.

In the tests environmnent, we don't want img and iframe nodes to
perform RPCs when they are inserted into the DOM. For img nodes,
we prefixed the src attribute by '#test: ' as soon as they were
inserted into the DOM. Unfortunately, this didn't work as expected:
an RPC was done to fetch route '/web/tests?' (i.e. the tests page),
because everything after '#' in the url isn't sent to the server.
This rev. completely removes the src attribute of img nodes, and
set a 'data-src' attribute with the original src attribute's value,
so that it can still be checked in the tests.
Tests using this attribute have been adapted accordingly.
In left menu used for switching between "apps" particular menu, the
apps names were not translated.
This commit use the "string" attribute which is translated instead of
"data-string" fallbacking on data-string (so things still work without
updating the module).

Before this commit, when you were entering search mode en settings view,
enterprise label would lose its style. (even when leaving search mode by
removing search text)
Now, the style remains.
The `isMobile` variable was defined at the right place (`config.device`)
but was set at the wrong place (`config`).
Thank you for making me author of all the `isMobile` lines by
the way... :)
1/ Lint
2/ Follow new .js guidelines (mainly re-sequence function alphabetically)
3/ Introduce BaseSetting.SearchHeader template for search header instead of replicating html code
4/ Add some comments in code
5/ When we close a modal or come back using breadcrumb, left panel is lost and all the settings are displayed. This commit fix the issue
6/ Remove the fact that the current app is in top of the app list
7/ Improve search
* unichr -> pycompat (builtin removed from Python 3, ``chr`` has
become unicode-aware)
* Psycopg2 bytea values (binary fields) are returned as memoryviews in
P3 but buffers in P2
* Both bytes and (text) strings are conventionally iterable in
P3 (they have a __iter__ method), so fix up the exclusion pattern
for flatten
The world changes and some country names too :
- Anguilla is not a part of Saint Kitts and Nevis anymore (1980)
- East Timor is now called Timor-Leste and has a new ISO code (2002)
- Netherlands Antilles have been split in CW, SX, BQ (2010)
- Neutral Zone between Irak and Saudi Arabia does not exist anymore
(1991)
- The U.N. now use "State of Palestine" for West Bank and Gaza (2012)
- Yugoslavia has been split (1992) then some remaining parts renamed as
"Serbia and Montenegro" (2003)
- Zaire is now called Democratic Republic of the Congo (1997)
We also fixed/simplified names of other countries/territories when
there is a more vernacular name that is not ambiguous or simply a typo

(We also fix a test that count countries beginning by Z, and there is
no Zaire anymore)
