- Steps to reproduce the bug:
Go to events ->Duplicate an existing published event
Try to publish that new event
- Bug:
You get redirected to the previous event webpage, which is already published.
Unable to publish the event from that page.
The url used to access the event is computed the function _compute_website_url which
a slugify of the display_name of the event.

Using `with_context({'use_babel': True})` overrides completely the
environment context. Therefore, the lang is lost and the date is
formatted in the default language.

Method which return summary information about the registration,
which can be used by email or QWeb templates to fetch useful
information about the registration.
This commit removes the strange selection box based on a magic flag and
some strange methods returning a string. Instead just allow to send mass
mailing on all models inheriting from mail.thread using the is mail
thread flag.
Various addons are updated to remove the _mail_mass_mailing class
attribute used to determine mass mailing capability.
We consider people could send a mass mailing on every model inheriting
from mail.thread. It makes no sense to limit it to a given set of addons.
Now that we're closer to switching to P3 for good, these helpers have
outlived their usefulness, and mostly add noise.
All remaining dict.iter*() or dict.view*() must be converted to the
normal keys(), values() or items() calls.
Whenever the result is likely to be used for more than the scope of a
loop, or when the dict needs to be modified during iteration, the calls
must be wrapped in a ``list()``, to protect the new P3 semantics.
Those cases are very exceptional.
Also removed some dead code or improved the API to remove unnecessary
conversions.
Commit 14d1f6f6c1 responded to the need to have clean server answers for SEO purposes
and specifically when the products on event tickets have been archived
BUT
it introduced an infinite redirect loop when the event was in state == done
This present commit normalize the behavior in a comprehensive manner and cleans up the code a bit

Closes#18667
Events currently have a reply_to field that is purely informative. Indeed
it has to be explicitely taken into account when using mail templates and
is not used for setting classic reply-to of other messages.
This commit removes this field as it is simpler to have a standard
behavior as in all other addons. If a custom reply-to is required it
can be set on the mail template or using the mail composer.
In Python 3:
* various builtins and dict methods were changed to return
view/iterable objects rather than lists
* and the separate Python 2 view/iterable builtins and methods were
removed altogether
This is problematic when using these items as list (which the happens
repeatedly in Odoo), but more viciously when iterating *multiple times*
over them (which also happens, which I've messed up multiple times while
writing this, and which is a pain to debug even when you've just created
the issue).
Convert all code using these to semantics-matching cross-version
helper functions to get the LCD behaviour between P2 and P3, and
forbid the builtins via lint.
issue #8530
When a message is posted through the chatter and creates a new partner
the attendee or track is now updated so that the partner field is correctly
set to the newly-created partner.
Chatter on attendee or track now uses the reload option so that the view is
reloaded after posting a message. The user therefore sees that the record
has been updated accordingly.
Wrong event category field was used leading to an incoherent feature.
This commit also improves event form view to add an '#' before the
hashtag field so that users understand they don't have to put it.
Currently line was incorrect as the purpose is to ensure all lines of
the scheduler are sent. Currently not send lines are filetered and therefore
not taken into account. This commits fixes it.
This commit improve event.type (Event Categories) model and views in order
to ease event configuration through more detailed categories. The purpose
is to be able to define categories holding default data for website,
tickets, attendee mailing, ... Choosing a category on a new event takes
those default values to help users creating finely-tuned events.
Main configuration on event.type is
* auto confirmation, replacing the old system-wide auto confirmation
parameter
* seats limitation
* location: online events, timezone
* communication: reply-to email address, twitter hashtag, automated
mailing of attendees
* ticketing
* website parameters: display on website, display tracks, allow track
proposal
* question to attendees
* reporting: remove report.event.registration as it can be replaced by
pivot and graph views on event.registration model directly. The
custom SQL view does not add any valuable information;
* event: correctly take limitations from event category and check
minimum seats is lesser or equal to maximum seats;
* event: reorganize a bit the form view
* avoid some kind of random ordering of buttons;
* move seats availability directly in the form view;
* ticket page is now used only for ticketing purpose, not a mismatch
with seats;
* registration: attendees can be set as done only for confirmed events
to avoid confusion when working with draft events;
Misc usability
* event.type: rename event type to event category to have a unified
term across various event addons;
* event: stop tracking active field as it does not add interesting
information; it should not toggle everyday;
* event: track location as it does add valuable information;
* event: rename some labels to ease user experience;
* event.mail: add missing description and rec name;
Mass mailing option is activated on attendee and track models. Using
the _mail_mass_mailing parameter on class allows to see those models
in the mass mailing application without having bridge module.
This commit also improves the scheduled mail form view and slighty
improve labels related to scheduling mails on event.
As we now rely on the standard res.config behavior some ir.values
keys have been changed to default_<key>. This commit fixes the use
of auto_confirmation key.
