It seems the emails > < are missing.
By the way one manual formataddr is replaced by an email_formatted field.
Result is the same but let us use fields doing it for us.
When an incoming email on a channel is rejected, an email is sent to the
original author to inform him of the rejection. This email contains the
original email content added in a generic rejection email.
This original content was however considered as plaintext and escaped. Result
was quite hard to read. As content is sanitized we can safely append it to
the rejection email as valid html.

PURPOSE
Upgrade the "mass_mailing" and "mass_mailing_sms" modules with a dynamic
placeholder generator as it already exists in "mail module" as depicted in
https://www.screencast.com/t/cnFA0gIY.
SPECIFICATIONS
As duplicated code already exists for that and that a third version of this
code has to be added, instead create a mixin for this dynamic placeholder
generator to avoid code duplication.
Thereby
* a mail.render mixin for the dynamic placeholder generator must be
created in mail;
* dynamic placeholder generator code present in mail.template.py must be
moved to that mixin and replaced by a simple inherit;
* use the mixin in
* mail templates: mail.template.py (mail module);
* mass mailings: mailing.py (mass_mailing module);
* sms templates: sms.template (mass_mailing_sms module);
In a near future, some code will be added in this mixin, notably the template
rendering that could be moved outside of mail.template core model and moved
in that rendering mixin.

Raising a python error cannot stop an uninstall, however since the
unlink stops early, the calls to super() are never reached, this
prevents the deletion of module-related data and leaves crap in the
database, not to mention that it potentially prevents the reinstallation
of a module because of duplicate data with unique IDs, which is the case
for mail.
With this patch, we let the registry delete everything related to the
mail module when uninstalling, which allows for its reinstallation.

Purpose of this commit is to remove code coming from old features,
implementations and that was not completely cleaned.
Including
* remove support of old "reply" composition mode which is simply a comment
with a parent message, and is deprecated;
* remove support of old "mail.compose.message.mode" context key that was
used in Odoo 6.1;
* remove support of message_id default value in context instead of
default_parent_id;
* remove old redirection of user / partner post. This code come from
old age when people were able to post on their "profile" by posting
on their user;
* remove unnecessary method for selection field;
* remove unused imports to clean a bit code;
We also make some optional parameters in rendering methods mandatory to
ease code understanding and future modifications.

to use formataddr from tools instead of manually handcrafting the full
email address format. Indeed the tools one correctly encapsulates and
format name and email.

Purpose
=======
Let's say that the field 'foo' is tracked and defined with a res.group.
When the field is modified, a mail.tracking.value is generated, but the
reference to the field name is a char field.
When displaying the mail.tracking.values on the chatter, a check is done
according to the field group to decide whether we should display it or not
to the user. See: odoo/odoo@c7aa8c5#diff-ad8b6db158187579d2208f233d993c3cR43
So if I rename the field, and if the mail.tracking.value is not modified,
the mail.tracking.value magically appears to the users who shouldn't
access it before.
Note: If the migration is correctly handled, this shouldn't be the case.
But manual manipulations on the database could lead to this issue.
Specification
=============
If the field referenced by the mail_tracking_value doesn't seem to exist,
then display its value to system users only, by security.

The parent was expected to return a dict, but it can also return None in some
cases. When that happens, the overrides were crashing because it is impossible
to assign a key/val to None.
Note that using `if` conditions like this also prevents from writing on the dict
if it is existing but empty, but due to the definition of the parent, if there
is a dict, it will not be empty.

Since there are message_post overrides using the form `def message_post(self,
**kwargs)` in some modules, this method is intended to be invoked with keyword
arguments only.
This commit enforces this behavior. Calls such as `message_post("body")` will
fail regardless of which addon is installed, forcing users to use
`message_post(body="body")`.
It also fixes a message_post override in hr, and applies the same
mechanism to message_notify, and _message_log.

There are too many image sizes. Since they are stored resized this takes time to
generate when saving a new image, it's more rows on the attachment table, more
files on the disk, ...
64px is close enough to 128px that it can be removed without a big impact on
download size.
It will even reduce download and number of requests when both images are
displayed because now only one has to be downloaded and then benefit from cache.
The difference between the two is typically around 1.5kB which is negligible
these days, especially when the request overhead is around 0.5kB already, not
even taking into account other factors such as latency.
If a 64px image must absolutely be returned, it is still possible to pass the
size parameters to the image route. But the current guideline is to handle
resizing in the views when necessary.

- remove width and height attributes when existing CSS rules are overriding them
(eg. `.oe_kanban_avatar` in the right context)
- add CSS rules instead of width and height attributes when possible
- use `object-fit: cover;` where width and height are forced to avoid distortion
of non-square images
- for products, use `object-fit: contain;` instead, keep ratio but without crop
- add new CSS rules where the expected size was max 64px*64px before due to the
image size itself
- remove `img-fluid` where using size classes to avoid conflicting rules

Purpose of this commit is to avoid conflicts when creating new followers
with existing context keys. Indeed some actions may propagate a default
partner id or channel id that is not wanted. Example if when inviting someone
on a slide.channel in eLearning, a default_channel_id is set in context
that clashes with follower creation, thinking it is a mail.channel.

Before this commit, when user follows odoobot chat onboarding and
sends a canned response at the canned response step, odoobot did
not validate the message with the canned response.
This is caused by RPC `message_post` that filters out values that
are not message fields, such as `canned_response_ids`.
This commit fixes the issue by adding a non-stored field
`canned_response_ids` to `mail.message`. This requires the reverse
relation too, `message_ids` in `mail.shortcodes` (= the model for
canned responses).

In resend wizard tests
In some cases tuple comparison of states seems to fail. Indeed order seems
to change in some cases depending on installation order. With this commit
we correctly check partner / notification status one by one, avoiding
to rely on order / set length that is not guaranteed.
In mail gateway tests
Add a specific order on name to be clearer about what we mean when fetching
users as a fallback, until better heuristic. Using name is sufficient as
we have no need to rely on complex partner display_name.

[PEP 594] is going to depreciate the legacy `email.message.Message` API
and its related modules: `email.(charset|header|mime|utils)`.
The new `email.message.EmailMessage` API exposes a much easier interface
to create multiparted emails [1], is capable of doing all the necessary
headers value conversion (RFCs [2045], [2047], [2049]) [2] and get/set
different flavor of payload (text/bytes) in a straightforward way [3].
All headers are structured in a way to support python native types, i.e.
the `Date` header supports `datetime.datetime` objects and automatically
performs the required formatting. The same goes for multi-valued headers
like the `To` header, one can directly set a python list of values, it
will be automatically be formatted according to the RFCs.
The dedicated encoding and decoding functions are no more needed thus
has been removed has part of the refactor. FTR, [RFC2231] is an update
of [RFC2047] and based on tests we've just conducted, both GMail and
Thunderbird now support RFC2231 encoding just fine in all headers:
attachments names, From, etc.

[PEP 594] is going to depreciate the legacy `email.message.Message` API
and its related modules. Among them the `email.utils.formataddr`
function, this function takes a `(name, email)` pair and returns a
string value suitable for From, To and Cc headers.
The stdlib function is capable of handling several character encoding
and two binary-to-ascii encoding. Odoo only uses `utf-8` which is
compatible with the base64 b2a encoding. The re-implementation of that
function has been simplified to only support base64-ed utf-8 and ascii.

[PEP 594][1] is going to depreciate legacy `email.message.Message` API in
PY3.8 in favor `email.message.EmailMessage`.
All `email.message_from_x` constructor functions take an optional
`policy` argument. The policy can either be `policy.compat32` to
generate an `email.message.Message` instance, either be `policy.SMTP`
to generate an `email.message.EmailMessage` instance.
The [current][2] default policy is `policy.compat32` but will change in
a future version of python. It is recommended to always specify the
policy.

Because of a whitespace character present at the beginning of the message_id of some mails,
they were fetched twice.
From the SQL side, we see that Outlook is formatting the header following the RFC822
by allowing the header to look like:
Header:<CRLF>
<whitespace><hash_of_msg_id>
From RFC822:
"Each header field can be viewed as a single, logical line of ASCII characters.
For convenience, the field-body portion of this conceptual entity can be split
into a multiple-line representation" (abr.)
It was also possible to find out by checking the logs.
One or two whitespace(s) can be seen before the hash of the msg_id.
The following commit is making sure we use and save the message_id without the whitespace
by stripping them off on the coming mail.
