PURPOSE
Required fields are annoying, notably when dealing with tests or xml-based data
to create in concurrent modules. For example ModuleA adds a required field on
Model. ModuleB that does not depend on ModuleA tries to create a data of
Model. Currently it crashes as field is required but default is not provided if
ModuleA is not loaded in registry.
SPECIFICATIONS
Field activity_user_type on ir.actions.server model in mail is currently
required. This field is however not really required as its use is limited
to actions linked to activities. Remove the hard required and put it only
in views.
If no value is given due to some bad configuration no responsible will be
set.

Taking a self and a separate action seems unnecessary given self *is
an action*.
Only do this change for the "new" naming scheme, so the old one keeps
working as-is.
There is no reason to call these directly, in fact it's not really
possible to do so as they expect an `action` object as first
parameter.
* warn against the presence of rpc-public runners
* move runner selection outside of ``run``
* improve doc a bit maybe
In case of generic activity user type, if the referenced field does not exist
in the linked model, we should not raise an UnboundLocalError and use the
current user as a fallback case instead.

With this commit, Selection fields with `required=True` which are
extended via `selection_add` are given proper ondelete policies to
ensure the cleanup of records containing these extended options during
uninstall of the extending module.
This commit also cleans up leftover uninstall hooks that were being used
to handle the same set of problems prior to the ondelete mechanism being
implemented for Selection fields.

Create an Email Template without email_from
Create Server Action with Send Email
Establish email template as one created
User will be blocked because the template does not have a valid
'email_from'. This does not seems to be useful since the send action is
run via contextual menu, so the message by default will have the address
of the user performing the action.

Current activity types master data cannot be unlinked through a quite harsh
override of unlink using xml id existence, introduced at 2602642a78.
Some of them are real master data, other could be unlinked if users want it.
Finally custom activity types may cause errors when removed if used in some
side models like server actions or automated actions.
To allow more flexibility we remove the removal constraint and implement
a fallback mechanism. It is implemented in mail.activity.mixin when calling
activity_schedule(xmlid, ...). If the given xmlid is not found
_default_activity_type() specifies the default activity to use. It can
be overridden in modules if some specific behavior is wanted.
e.g.
def _default_activity_type(self):
"""Define a default fallback activity type when xml id not found
only used in in activity_schedule() for now.
"""
try:
return self.env.ref('mail.mail_activity_data_todo')
except Exception:
return False
In this commit we also
* restrict deletion of activity type (hr.plan and ir.actions.server);
* fallback on default activity type if xmlid ref not found in
activity_schedule;
* correct calls to activity_schedule and replace some manual creation calls
by activity_schedule;

This branch is the combination of several optimizations in the ORM:
* store field values once in the cache: the cache reflects more
faithfully the database, only fields that explicitly depend on the
context have an extra indirection in the cache;
* delay recomputations by default: use method `recompute` to explicitly
flush out pending recomputations;
* delay updates in method `write`: updates are stored in a data
structure that can be flushed efficiently to the database with method
`flush` (which also flush out recomputations);
* make method `modified` take advantage of inverse fields to inverse
dependencies;
* filter records by evaluating a domain on records in Python;
* a computed field with `readonly=False` behaves like a normal field
with an onchange method;
* computed fields are computed in superuser mode by default.

After this commit, the flow works, because we use the stored model name on the action

The action_subtask method adds 'default_parent_id' to the context.
If the creation or edition of a subtasks triggers an email creation,
(e.g. if there is an automated action 'send email')
the default 'default_parent_id' is still in the context.
Therefore, it tries to create the email with an arbitrary foreign key
(since it is an existing record on the project.task model), or crashes.

Together d60f2ab0e2 and

corrected the triggering of automated actions at *each* recompute of a field
It is problematic since, maybe, the field that should trigger an action
*is* a computed one. It often happens with "state"-like fields
This commit aims at applying the logic of those two commits,
except in the case we do want the action to be triggered
even in a recompute case

Create an automated action to create a new activity on update of a record
(e.g. a CRM lead).
At update, many fields recompute may be triggered, triggering as many write.
Thus it would generate many activities.
We simply do nothing if we are in a recompute.

The activity was incorrectly scheduled with a deadline as the now in UTC while
the state was computed using "today" in the user's timezone.
This made the nightly test fail (run at 23:30 UTC with the user in UTC+2).
Use context_today instead of today for all activity_schedule calls
To make it easier, use on the context_today default value instead of setting
context_today everywhere (which is more error prone in the future)
Never use datetime, only date objects
add a warning to detect potential errors when passing a datetime

Purpose
=======
As a server action could add followers on a record, here the goal
is to be able to add a next activity on a record.
Specification
=============
Based on the configured trigger, we can add a next activity on a record
by specifying :
- The activity type
- A summary
- A note
- A due date in x days/weeks/months
- A responsible
This commit refactors mail.thread message_subscribe method. It is done for two
purposes. First one is to optimize performance by using the new followers
computation methods introduced recently. Second purpose is to clean the API
of message_subscribe to make it simpler to use.
This commit splits message_subscribe in two main parts :
* _message_subscribe is a private method calling the follower new
subscription methods and updating the record set;
* message_subscribe is a public wrapper on _message_subscribe that adds
access rights checks;
Simplification comes by removing message_subscribe_users that was a
shortcut to message_subscribe. Having a method to subscribe partners and
channels is sufficient as we would like to avoid bloating the public API
of mail.thread. A force parameter is also removed from message_subscribe
as this implementation detail can be induced in the computation.
Various addons using the removed methods are updated in order to use the new
subscription API. They have the same functional behavior.
This commit has a great impact when subscribing several followers. In a more
general way all code using message_post is also optimized as posting a message
generally implies subscribing followers. It also improves activity use as
posting a message and subscribing new followers are common process in
activities.
Main idea of this commit is to simplify the various options of
ir.actions.server model. Purpose is to make it a simple tool to
execute some actions or python code. This has two main consequences
* create and update server actions are simplified to update only the
current record. Complex options can always be achieved by python code
instead of error-prone option building mechanism;
* condition of server actions is removed. If a condition is necessary it
can either be included in a code server action, or integrated in an
automated action;
This commit features :
* remove 'client_action' server action type. Indeed this can be achieved
with a code server action returning an action;
* remove 'condition' on ir_actions_server model. From now on conditions
and triggers are managed in server action code or using automated
or scheduled action;
* clean 'create and copy a record'. Create and link are the proposed
options. Copy of the record or of a selected record is removed. Link
is simplified by removing the parsed expression that allowed complex
path update. It is simpler to write code than write python-like
expression in char fields;
* remove 'use_write' options. It now simply updates a record;
* remove 'write_expression' as it is replaced by code actions;
* remove 'ref_object' not used anymore with the removal of "choose
a record";
* remove helper to build an expression not used anymore with the removal
of "write expression";
* remove object ID finder;
* removed template display when choosing an email template; just go
on the template if you want more details;
* refactor server action form view to reflect changes. It will be used
in future commits as base view for automated and scheduled actions;
* add 'sequence' in list view;
* add new 'usage' selection field allowing to distinguish which model
uses the server action. Indeed as server action will soon be used
in scheduled or automated actions having a clue about the usage
is always helpful;
Thanks to @fpodoo for the original idea and preliminary work. Thanks to
@jpr-odoo for first developments. Thanks to @jem-odoo and @rco-odoo
for reviewing.
* use selection and selection_add to replace old indirection for state
field and ease code understanding
* update various strings and helps
* update Python code helper to match new API changes, notably model,
record and records being recordsets
