Before this commit, it remove and reload the theme.
Now we try to make a real update of view except for active field
We cannot know if it is True into the template or if it is the default value.
The priority was set to a low value while it was meant to be a high
value. Indeed, we want that if that template is active, the customize
modal is emptied no matter what, so it has to be called last.
This is to have an understandable behavior if our code fails to mark the
template as inactive on a theme installation. With this commit, the
customization dialog will be empty. Without this commit, it gives an
error which can lead to think we made a mistake writing the theme's own
customization dialog while it was in fact inheriting from an emptied
dialog.
Reorder res.config.settings for website
Make website_id in no create in most view
Revamp res.configsetting and view Form simplified
Transform old 'useless' stored field for presentation by computed field.
We can consider that if there are not key, feature is disable.

From now, when you install a theme, it load the data from xml to template
table theme [ir.ui.view|ir.attachment|website.page|website.menu].
Data are only copied from this template table into the real table when you
choose a theme on a website; Making them website_specific and with a link
to the original to allow futur update.
A special case is done to create theme.ir.ui.view when you are installing
a theme, even if you continue to use template tag to create quick view.

This implements support to administer multiple websites. Although the
core functionality already existed, managing multiple websites was
fairly technical.
In the interest of database updates and migration this attempts to
keep duplicated data to a minimum. To do this the usual generic
records are rendered unless some website-specific record exists that
replaces it. Copy-on-write (COW) is used to create these
website-specific records. Through this mechanism creating a
website-specific record is delayed until necessary. A COW mechanism
has been implemented on 4 models: ir.ui.view, website.page,
website.menu and ir.attachment. These COW mechanisms are activated
when editing data through the website (aka frontend). These frontend
edits (e.g. with web_editor) will be website-specific, possibly
creating a website-specific record when necessary. When editing data
in the backend nothing special will happen, even when editing a
generic record. Note that because of this mechanism also facilitates
the ability to create new, uncustomized websites because the generic
data is kept.
Support is provided for a website to have any theme. Themes are fairly
complex to handle. Standalone themes can depend on other standalone
themes (e.g. theme_beauty depends on theme_loftspace) and themes
usually modify some data of the themes they depend on. Because a theme
can be installed on multiple websites, using website_id m2o fields
does not work well. It would require duplicate data, making updates
and migration harder. Because of this, data for themes (ir.ui.view and
ir.attachment specifically) have a theme_id m2o. website has a
theme_ids m2m that identifies all theme modules currently installed on
it. Through these fields we figure out what to render. A theme is only
fully uninstalled when it's no longer active on any website. The
advantage of this approach is that upgrading or migrating theme data
is no different from the single-website case.
The website.published.mixin class was modified to handle multiple
websites. A wizard was added in the backend to easily manage this for
multiple website.
Although not used anywhere in this commit, a 'website_id' variable has
been added in the evaluation context of ir.rule. It allows to easily
make any model multi-website aware, all that's needed is a custom
website_id m2o field on a model and a custom record rule.

The purpose of this task is to make the customize dialog as generic as
possible, that is theme-independant:
1) The design is now totally generic (Odoo visuals)
2) The XML definition is form-view like. This allows themes to extend
the dialog without any risk of breaking the style and also allows to
not care about lots of technical details.
3) New options have been included. Those were themes options that are
now generic and which themes can simply adapt without touching the
customize modal (navbar colors, footer color, navbar layout, fonts,
body background, ...).
The color palette can now also be customized with user colors.
Using sass functionnalities, color palettes and fonts integration is now
a lot better.
Thanks to @qha-odoo for the original design.

- JS Modals were not correctly built anymore, their .modal-body element
was duplicated and many without-effect JS lines were introduced (as a
side effect, the form view design was broken when inside modals)
- Tests were changed to make bugs go unnoticed. For example, the media
dialog functionnality was entirely broken because the .modal-dialog
element was not receiving the correct class anymore.
- The JS translation function is _t, not _
- Do not use the <title/> tag as a regular DOM element, it is meant to
be unique, in the <head/> section
- CSS rules were added to the utils.scss file, which is meant to contain
functions and mixins, otherwise, the rule is duplicated in every asset
- Some icons were still broken, as missed by https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/f90cf060a3cfeb37a67bec83264c0aaab8892b56
- Tests were changed to use [role="dialog"]/footer/header in their
selectors without any reason, this commit restores some of that to
avoid rebase conflicts with the BS4 work.
- ...
Note: other elements should still be discussed, like the direct use of
the 'o_form_label' class in views definition... but those do not cause
direct problems.
Today, Odoo is really tricky to use without seeing the screen, it must be improved to be usable.
This PR forbid to use labels without a "for" attribute, add some title, rule and aria attributes in HTML. With that, Odoo will be fully usable with a screen reader.

Since https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/d1fc62df0b850c56360c1e5391c69eb807d0fe46:
When several ir.actions.todo are created, only the last one is
considered and the first are marked as done. Thus, there are never
multiple "open" todos at the same time (while before this, only the
first todo was done and the other ones were done on subsequent module
installations, which makes no sense).
The new system however broke stuff. Indeed, when installing the
eCommerce, we expect to land on the "Choose a Theme" page (if website
was not already installed). This was not the case anymore, as the
last todo in that installation is "Redirect to /shop". To fix the
problem, the system is changed to not consider the "last todo" but
"the todo with highest priority, or the last one if same priorities".
By making the "Choose a theme" todo high priority, this solves the
problem.
A better system would be to make todos depend on each other... but
that would be a task for master.
Purpose
=======
The attribute name isn't required on the <filter> tag. If not set, it can't be selected with a xpath and it can't be overwritten.
A lot of PR are coming from the community just to add a name on a filter because:
- It can't be selected with a xpath.
- It can't be used with `default_search_foo` on an action context.
Specification
=============
Make the atttribute name required
- Handle vertical screenshots
- If a theme is installed, show it first, hide buttons and use a
specific design
- If no screenshot has been defined, show the cover (or the icon if no
covers has been defined neither)
- Show theme's name and category
- Allow to filter by category
- Design grouped layout
Use case when it happens:
* Install website module
* Should redirect to theme selection
Current behavior : Nothing happens
This error come from the commit c56b746221
This commit change the default state of ir.actions.server
from 'code' to 'object_write'. That causes the existing ir action servers
that use python code and has not the field state declared to crash.
This commit update the ir.actions.server and set the state to code.
The website_theme_install needs to reference the module category whose
xml_id is base.module_category_theme_hidden. The problem was that it
needs to do this in a context where the category might not exist (as
auto-created only if a module defines its category as "Theme/Hidden").
To solve the problem, the category was explicitly created by the
website_theme_install module to be able to reference it.
Commit 11812b0b9e removed the "base." part
of the xml_id thinking it was a record which had to be created by the
module. This then wrongly showed the Theme/Hidden modules in the list.
Now the solution came from commit https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/c6983137#diff-07193f47475ccdd78f39773a368ce05bL386
which now allows to use the second parameter of ref in a domain
context. This allows to tell the system to not raise an exception if
the ref we want to find does not exist.
Several modules defines records with the external ID `base.foo_bar` while it is
created inside this module (typically menus and groups).
While there is no technical reasons to do so but this may introduce issues:
- these records will not be deleted during uninstall
- if a language is loaded before the installation of the module, it won't be
translated
The uninstallation will only remove the records with an external id linked to
this module (these would only be removed when removing base).
Installing a language before the module will drop the translations not linked
to an existing external id (as it can not be resolved).
This commit correct all the external ids tagged as from base or other incorrect
modules.
The website_theme_install module now adds a link in the theme customize
modal to propose to install a theme when none is installed.
Also correct the name of the theme_default customize modal template.
On website/theme installation and other website_* module installation,
an action was triggered to launch tours. These tours are now used only
for tests and should not be used as onboarding anymore.
Note: in master these tours will be removed to use the new test system.
- add or fix decorators on methods
- fix most compute methods (wrong dependencies)
- revert changes in `eval_context` of `ir.actions`
- various code simplifications and improvements
- migrate methods that were not
- ir_qweb: modify `QWebContext` to take an environment instead of `cr`, `uid`, `context`
- ir_qweb: convert `AssetsBundle` to use new API `env`
- ir_ui_view: use decorator `multi` on method `read_combined`
- ir_ui_view: ensure that method `render` is never called with an xml_id
- ir_ui_view: factor out part of the `ormcache` key of method `_read_template`
The module did only work in english because the themes were found
amongst the applications thanks to their categorie names.
Solution is to search categories thanks to their xml_id :
base.module_category_theme or base.module_category_theme_...
and not
base.module_category_hidden or base.module_category_theme_hidden
