The rational is:
Currently we have 2 columns. One for reservation, the other
for quantity picked.
However in real time, either you follow the reservation and everything
goes well. Otherwise you pick something else. In the case where you
pick somewhere else than reserved, you would like to modify the
reservation to have something similar and free the quantity you
didn't pick and expect the system to not suggest the ones you took.
In other hand, we always want to have the reserve quantity similar to
the done.
On top, having two columns could be confusing for the end user.
The cons:
-The qty_done column could be use during the picking, to
remember if something has been pick or still to pick.
- For some flow (put in pack), it's easier to write a part of the quantity to pack
and still want to reserve the full amount of product.
We goes back and choose a ligther interface over complex feature.
Changes:
Qty done and reserved qty are merged into a single column.
A new checkbox on the move exists to mark it as picked or not
Since the reservation always follow the quantity, it's now possible
to have more reserved quantity than stock. However the system will
never propose it and the inventory showing reserved > quantity should
be a warning.
The system should never modify a move that has been picked. We don't
want to overide the user action.
Regression:
Not able to pick a single stock.move.line

This commit removes the promise extension which added the function
`guardedCatch`. It was used to filter server and connection errors from
javascript errors. Instead of using guardedCatch, we should use catch
and check if the reason is a server or connection error if needed and
re-throw the error if it's not handled.

This commit removes the last low level legacy stuff (e.g. Widget,
mixins...) from the backend bundle, and from the webclient bundles
of mrp_subcontracting and project. They are no longer used in the
backend. There're still necessary for the frontend and for the
web_editor though, so we had to manually add them in the lazy
loaded bundle of the editor. Hopefully, the last widgets and
dialogs will be converted soon, and we'll finally get rid of all
those legacy files.

Fixes a large number of cases where strings are translated then
formatted, instead of letting `_()` do the formatting internally,
which allows it to recover from incorrect translations (missing,
broken, or extra placeholders).
Also
- removes translation markers entirely when there's nothing to
translate e.g. `_("%s - %s")` is not useful
- fixes a few messes which lead to only partial translatability
(DRY is generally a bad idea when translations are involved, even
more so when you don't make the variable part translatable)
- fixes a few nearby issues noticed at the same time
- replaces a few `"%s"` by `%r`, which should automatically quote
strings relatively appropriately
- fixes translated strings which use `\` to escape a newline (in order
to fill-paragraph): `\` escapes only the newline, if the
continuation string is indented this results in a bunch of spaces
ending in the string to translate, which is pretty garbage for the
translator, using implicit concatenation works much better
Note: some of the updates revert f-string parameters to %, because
babel (2.9) apparently has trouble with f-strings and blows up trying
to extract them.
Not in scope:
Helping translators fix translatable strings e.g. any translation
string with more than one placeholder probably should use keyword
placeholders
- Provides more context / data to the translator to make sense of the
sentence.
- Allows reordering the translated terms, which can be necessary
depending on the sentence and language.

The motivation of this commit was to remove the override of owl
that disables the validateTarget check, which we believed was
necessary for the renderToString function.
Fun fact: renderToString doesn't seem to need the override, as
validateTarget is only called when mounting an app and when
completing a fiber, which renderToString doesn't do. It was instead
probably necessary for the legacy compatibily layers that have now
been removed.
So this commit removes the validateTarget override.
This commit also simplifies the setup of the renderToString fn by
lazy creating the app itself, instead of requiring the application
setup to set the main app as renderToString app (e.g. main.js in
web).

Before this commit, owl was in the linter's accepted global variables.
This allowed direct access to owl global object.
For instance, to use xml from owl, you could do :
`const { xml } = owl;`
or you could use it directly:
`owl.xml`
Now, owl is not accepted on linter's global variables anymore, so to
import xml, now you need to use a proper import:
`import { xml } from "@odoo/owl";`

This commit replaces the opening of the stock moves detailed operation
wizard by the one2Many record preview. This means creating a move in a
picking is still done via a new line but the edition is done via the
`fa-list` button that open the record in the web client. The goal is to
reduce the RPCs call as much as possible. The stock move lines data are
stored in the stock move record until the picking save.
Additionally, this commit change a bit the immediate transfers flows.
The stock move show only initial demand (`product_uom_qty`) but the
column wording is still "Done". In the detailed operation view, the
stock move line `qty_done` is displayed as "Reserved".
At picking validation, the user is expected to enter the same quantity
in `product_uom_qty` and `quantity_done`. If `product_uom_qty` is equals
to 0, the done quantity is used as actual transfer quantity. If
`product_uom_qty` is different than 0 but small than the done quantity,
an error is raised.

Part-of: odoo/odoo#124409
On the backorders, the consumed quantities are incorrect.
To reproduce the issue:
1. Create two products:
- C01: consumable
- P01: storable
2. Create a BoM
- Product: P01
- Type: Subcontracting
- Subcontractor: S
- Components: 1 x C01
3. Create and confirm a planned receipt:
- From: S
- 10 x P01
4. Set the done quantity (directly on the tree view) to 1
5. Validate + Backorder
6. On this first backorder, set the qty to 2
7. Validate + Backorder
8. Validate the second backorder
9. Inventory > Reporting > Moves History, filter on C01
Error: There are three SMs, and here are the done quantities: 1, 9
and 7. The second one is incorrect, it should be 2 (see step 6).
Since [1] the done quantity is always editable on the picking's
operations, but the feature is not implemented in subcontracting,
therefore the communication between the MO and the picking does not
work well. For instance, step 4: save the done quantity and open the
MO: nothing changed on it, its producing qty is still zero. Another
example: step 4, instead of setting the done quantity directly on
the picking, open the wizard (the MO), record 3 produced products and
close the wizard. The done quantity of the stock move is 3 but the
user can still edit it. However, if he tries to update the line,
nothing will change on MO side.
On top of these "little" bugs, it may lead to a more important one
as shown in the above use case. Step 5: at some point, we split the
MO to generate a backorder for 9 x P01:
https://github.com/odoo/odoo/blob/c47e4ac7cb5fdd690f40ab2e0f8d022ba565145e/addons/mrp_subcontracting/models/stock_picking.py#L72-L76
And, as shown, the flag `set_consumed_qty` is set to `True`. As
explained in the method description:
https://github.com/odoo/odoo/blob/a2574b45aef1ff6ff3a221b996d0bb0dda2a8c74/addons/mrp/models/mrp_production.py#L1602-L1603
So, because of this flag, the method will create a SML for C01 on
the backorder, with its done quantity set to the reserved one: 9.
However, back to the first block code: `move.move_line_ids` only
contains the SML created at step 4 (i.e., the SML of the inital
SM, with a done quantity equal to 1). As a result, in the for loop,
we only define the producing quantity of the initial MO.
This is a first issue: step 6, suppose the user rather opens the
detailed operations of the line: it displays the new MO, the
producing qty is 0 but the consumed quantity of the component is 9.
This is not perfect, but let's ignore this and continue with the
above steps. The user sets the done quantity to 2 and validates with
backorder. It runs the productions split again, we use the done
quantity as producing one on the MO, but we don't edit the consumed
quantities, hence the error.
For all these reasons, the safer solution is probably to prevent the
feature 'qty done always editable' in case of subcontracting.

This commit rewrite the module loader to simplify it and to improve error handling.
before this commit, you could have silent errors or "lucky" imports (import a module based on the fact that his asset will surely be load and if not, the error would be silent anyway).
e.g.: The tours cannot import modules extern to tours' bundle anymore. Or load module before your libs in assets.

Minor cleanup after odoo/odoo#104741 thanks to edge-cases and the fun
complexity of logistics code. Fixes include:
- removing some readonly=False that were added on computed/stored fields
that already have an inverse func or were already not readonly (i.e.
redundant => cleanup)
- fixed visibility of qty to prod in subcontractor portal view of a MO
(i.e. yay they know how much they're supposed to make again)
- remove unused imports
- adding back in readonly functionality of default dest of repair
operation type (and removing the now useless field override that used
to add in the readonly functionality)
- adding back in the `_set_product_qty` inverse function since it was
probably removed by mistake (and is still important to have)
unrelated to viewpocolypse change, also fixed:
- mobile view of PO was for some reason allowing products to be changed
in already confirmed/done POs, which could lead to some inconsistent
data => made this consistent with existing desktop view behavior

Historically, the web.assets_common bundle was used to contain assets
that were needed by both the frontend and the backend. In practice, this
caused a bunch of issues where people would add things in assets common
that were not needed by both, and it was also abused as a way to get
bootstrap working in unrelated places by only using that bundle's css.
Because of this, as a first step, the assets_common stop being used in
