In Python 3, all of these were "consolidated" under urllib(.request,
.parse, .errors) which is inconvenient.
Since we already have hard dependencies on requests and
werkzeug(.urls, which is a backport of Python 3's unicode-aware
urllib.parse) migrate *everything* to that.
A sticking point is urllib2.URLError, those were (mostly) replaced by
the slightly more general IOError which URLError extends.
Before this commit, a user was able to post withtout limit new post.
They was added to the modarator queue.
Now we only support 1 post by user.
This commit is related to #12803
Otherwise it is not visible when set on an instance of the new API.
self is a recordset instead of the model `res.users`
Without this patch a low priviledge user was not able to modify its own value
of `notify_email` through the preference window.
The read_group collating user badge counts is extremely slow when
there's a large number of users (possibly even slower than 8.0's naive
approach), replace the whole thing by a single SQL query seems to yield
pretty significant (~2 orders of magnitude) performance improvements on
the computing function resulting in ~1 order of magnitude improvement
for the page as a whole.
has also been added, because the action open_website_url linked to the publish
button is not defined on res.users model (but on its inherited partner).
It now has the method that is routed on its partner.
Main cleaning
- remove introduction_message, introduced in saas-6 with inboung forum, that was quite
a duplicate of description.
- renamed relevancy_option_first and relevancy_option_second, introduced in saas-4
with inbound forum
- renamed type of post to post_type to avoid confusion with the type keyword
- some cleaning in templates
- fixed voting, karma check could be avoided
- fixed posting comments, now correctly checking karma (not for
notifications)
- fixed bootstraping of users, now not allowed to ask questions by default;
added validation email that gives the first karma points required to
participate
- added tests
