In 75d3121c9 the bad rating was change from 0 to 1.
This commit update the javascript feedback part so the behavior is the
one expected.

Currently, layout for rating a chat is not looking so well.
This commit improves the rating layout. It will
- Center the content (including smileys)
- Enlarge the fonts (a little bit)
- Underline the link instead of using italics (more intuitive)

Unlike LESS, SCSS variables are not lazy loaded. Our system has thus
to be updated. This commit creates new templates which are t-called
in assets bundles (to replace the old less_helpers template):
- web._assets_utils: regroups the mixins and functions which *can*
(and so should) be available in every asset bundle
- web._assets_primary_variables: regroups the variables (or mixins
used as variables) which *can* (and so should) be available in
every asset bundle
- web._assets_secondary_variables: same as above but provides an
environnement where all the 'primary' ones are accessible. This is
for example useful to handle the community/enterprise split:
// Community primary variables
$o-pink-color: pink; // enterprise color
$o-brand-primary: blue;
// Enterprise primary variables
$o-brand-primary: $o-pink-color;
// Community secondary variables
$o-my-darker-primary: darken($o-brand-primary, 5%);
=> If there was only one variable template, enterprise edition would
have been able to define its primary color at the end but the
darker primary would not have been updated. Using the "!default"
system and putting enterprise definition above would not have
solved the problem as the $o-pink-color would not have been
accessible.
- web._assets_backend_helpers: regroups the variables, mixins and
functions which *can* (and so should) be available in the backend
asset bundle only. This is especially (only?) useful for bootstrap
variables overriddes.
- web._assets_frontend_helpers: regroups the variables, mixins and
functions which *can* (and so should) be available in the frontend
asset bundle only. This is especially (only?) useful for bootstrap
variables overriddes.
Note: bootstrap variables are not accessible in any of those anymore.
If you have variables that should depend on bootstrap, you have 3
solutions:
- Find another way: your variable is probably useless, use bootstrap
variables directly or create a variable that will influence the
value of bootstrap variables. E.g. instead of declaring:
`$myvar: $bootstrapvar * 3`
and using $myvar alone, declare:
`$myvar: 3` and use `$myvar * $bootstrapvar` where needed.
- Declare a copy of the bootstrap variable and use that one. In that
case, you should also force-set the real bootstrap one to be sure
they match (this should be done in appropriate templates mentioned
above). E.g.
```
$o-boostrapvar: 5;
...
$boostrapvar: $o-bootstrapvar;
```
- Set your variable to null and set it to your bootstrap expression
in the file you will need it (where bootstrap variables are accessible)
without forgetting to add the !default flag to allow overriddes.
```
$myvar: null;
...
$myvar: $bootstrapvar * 5 !default;
```
This commit also partly changes the variable names to follow the
convention:
$o-<app_id>-<name> where 'app_id' is the current's app name or a
meaningful unique identifier ("theme" for all themes for example, as
no multiple themes can be installed).
Convert content so that the assets compile on app installation. The
style is still broken after this as the variables/mixins/... are not
defined in the right order (as it did not matter in LESS but does in
SCSS).
This commit basically changes:
- Variables: @var_hello -> $var-hello
- Mixins: .mixin_world() {} -> @mixin mixin-world {}
- Classes used as mixin: .my_class() -> @extend .my_class
- Here there were no other solution than to convert the use of
a mixin call by the use of an extend as a first approximation
- LESS functions -> SCSS functions (e.g. fade -> rgba)
- Move first variable definition before the variable is used
- Still need to make sure last variable definition is at the
right place
User notifications are defined as
* notes;
* pushed to user Inbox or email through classic notification process;
* not linked to any document, meaning model and res_id are void;
When pushed in user's Inbox they are currently displayed with a gray
background like all notes. However UX experts think it should use a white
background to be easier to spot in chatter. This commit makes it work.
From now on discussion and user's notifications are displayed using a white
background. This commit is related to task ID 1829872.
Remove the support to replace emojis by images. Most browser
now support colored emoji or at least black and white emojis.
The emojis list have been updated to ensure a correct support
for most os/browser.
Users have the possibility to install fonts localy if their os does not
have one of the default emoji font installed.
After default os emoji font, one of twemoji, emojione or noto color
will be selected.
The emoji list is now hardcoded in js in order to reduce the number of
records in shortcodes.
Also include a small fix for livechat to display message field when rating
is bad.

Revision of https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/02ec09cb1c3e2d7bc7968f40c18f2208d7f3f498
One of the purposes of the previous commit was to test discuss.
There was an attempt to test im_livechat, but it has been aborted due to the possibility
to use livechat on an external website.
However, some bits remain from this attempt, such as LivechatButton becoming a JS service
provider in order to use those services with the external lib. LivechatButton was not working
for the following reasons:
- ServiceProviderMixin.init was not called (so it couldn't load any service);
- On website, there are two service providers (LivechatButton & websiteRootInstance).
This fix ensures that LivechatButton does not rely on JS services, such as the bus_service.
This commit improves the JS code of the mail module,
which comes maily from the new coding guidelines
and the addition of "JS services".
JS services are important objects that do not fit
well in the component tree, such as chat_manager
or ajax.
The benefits of JS services are improved readability
of the code, reduced coupling, and more testable
modules. In particular, discuss was hard to
Summary of the changes:
- ClientAction has been renamed into Discuss
- Clear instantiation of chatManager
- New coding guidelines in most mail modules
- JS Services can interact with each other
- Chat Manager and Window Manager are services
- Window Manager renamed to Chat Window Manager
- bus.bus is now encapsulated in Bus Service (a service)
- The test infrastructure has been tweaked with JS Services
- Chat Mixin has been removed
A future improvement would be to translate some 'trigger' into 'trigger_up'.
Only messages as comments and email template should keep a white backround since they are not internal.
It is also enough to display fields that changed on subtypes (update message) since emails will be reworked soon and more information will be given there. The support of 'always' track can be removed. (is now considered as a simple tracked field)
The use of self.env.ref('mail.mt_comment').id add some query and the performance tests needs to be update since message_format is called by notify_by_chat. This code will be refactor later
In Less, the size_class XXS is defined and used in media queries.
This rev. adds it in JS for sake of consistency.
Code in addons comparing the size_class needed to be adapted due
to the new XXS size_class.
Moreover, we now use the helper 'config.device.isMobile' everywhere
we should, instead of manually comparing the size_class.
Finally, we changed the way the config.device has to be specified
in the test environment. From now on, only the size_class should be
set, and the isMobile flag is computed automatically.
- Extract mobile specific code for the client action to a specific
file
- Massive clean of less rules
- Unify channels preview of the systray dropdown and the mobile UI
of Discuss
- Ensure to only load the last message of each channel in mobile,
as this is not used in desktop (unless the user opens the systray
menu)
- Make livechat available in Discuss mobile UI
This commit introduce a full redesign of all JS views. We started
basically from scratch. The goal was to unify all the various views
under a common framework, to make them testable, to make then usable in
different conditions (in studio, or in the frontend), and to make our
lives easier.
Some important points are:
- we introduced new coding guidelines (camelCase, 80 chars width, ...)
- we have a brand new testing framework (still QUnit based)
- kanban view moved to the web addon
- calendar view (formerly web_calender) moved to web as well
- the tree view was removed
- all new code should be documented
We hope that this code is the start of a new era for the Odoo web
client, we want to have a high quality codebase, well documented, well
tested, well designed.
Work done by the framework team: mostly aab, ged, chm, dmo, qsm
Some things in the ecommerce have z-index 1, 4 (product images) or 5. So
this went over the live chat button "Have a question? Chat with us."

Proxy.load is required by the livechat when it is embedded in an
external page, so that it is able to get the static xml files
(with the correct base_url).
opw-706497
this commit introduces the '/history' command
for an operator during a livechat session.
When the visitor load a page, its url is added in
a cookie (kept only 1 day) in order to track his
visited web pages.
The '/history' command will ask the cookie content
and send it to the operator as a transient message
in the livechat channel.
Loading history can contains sensitive informations.
You can load the history of a public conversation if
you have its uuid.
This commit stops using unsecure controller when a
secure one for this case exists !
Change color #a24689 to #875A7B
Commit https://github.com/odoo/enterprise/commit/8ac1c19fac7615fecd51e670f798d13158a4e53c
changed the odoo interface violet by changing the main LESS variable
but forgot there was many direct occurences in XML/HTML/... (for
example for the mobile browser color).
Even if it's community the odoo interface violet is used at many places
(module description, XML demo data, ...).
add customer_email_data in the add_message function, otherwise he would crash
later trying to get this key's value's length and nothing would be displayed
for the website visitor.
Currently on mobile, the livechat window would take all the viewport of
a small screen mobile browser. This combined with the "auto open"
feature can be desorienting: users could have only seen the "hello, how
may I help you ?" window and not know what to do or what is happening.
So this commit remove the "auto open" feature if user is on a too small
device (the user would thus have to click on "Have a Question").

The BasicComposer widget is now used in chat windows, which enables the mention
feature. This is only for the backend, as for the livechat windows in the
frontend, the composer is still a simple input.
Classname 'o_chat_input' has been renamed into 'o_chat_composer' (the root
classname of the basic composer) for uniformity in the JS and LESS code of
chat windows.
- prevent concurrent opening of the chat window
- take into account the placeholder value of the livechat session record
- don't send welcome message if empty
sometimes, the web client receives unsubscribe notification and an extra
notification on that channel. This is then followed by an attempt to
rejoin the channel that we just left. This commit prevents that
situation to occur.
For that, it needs to know the notifications received by the bus in one
batch, not one at a time.
@navbar-height was used in chat_window.less since rev. 8397abd but wasn't
defined in the external_lib bundle (light bundle to embed im_livechat in
external pages).
This rev. also fixes some glitches of the chat window due to missing
font-awesome, and global rule 'box-sizing: border-box' on all elements.
