Before this commit, owl was in the linter's accepted global variables.
This allowed direct access to owl global object.
For instance, to use xml from owl, you could do :
`const { xml } = owl;`
or you could use it directly:
`owl.xml`
Now, owl is not accepted on linter's global variables anymore, so to
import xml, now you need to use a proper import:
`import { xml } from "@odoo/owl";`

The `mailing_filter` widget used to take the 2nd occurrence of a

that it is the field having the widget. Thus when there is more than 1
occurrence of a many2one field in the form view (before the field with the

Before the commit, the _get_seen_list() function in the mass_mailing module was
not able to correctly identify all the duplicate email addresses in a given mass
mailing. This was because the function chose and used only one way to find an
email address for each record in the mailing list, even though there are many
ways to find an email address for a record.
For example, a crm.lead record might have an email address in its partner_id
field, but it might also have an email address in its email_normalized field.
This can vary from record to record.
To fix this issue, the _get_seen_list() function was updated to only look at the
email address to which emails have already been sent, rather than trying to
fetch it from the record itself. This ensures that all duplicate emails are
correctly identified and that no duplicate emails are sent in the mass mailing.

PURPOSE
Be defensive when dealing with email fields, notably when having multi-emails
or email field containing an already-formatted email.
SPECIFICATIONS: MAIL COMPOSER IN MAILING
When using the composer with a mailing, it currently skips recipients whose
email is a multi-email due to the strict usage of 'email_normalize'.
We can improve multi-email support by effectively checking for the first
email found, using the "less strict" mode of normalize. It means more emails
are detected as valid, and therefore sent.
Due to lower support of multi-emails when sending emails, this even allows
to send multiple emails as all emails are mailed.
SPECIFICATIONS: DEFAULT RECIPIENTS
Mailings are generally done using default recipients, aka using a model method
that returns the people to mail: customers ('partner_id'), customer emails
('email_from'), specific implementation, ...
This is implementation using '_message_get_default_recipients' that returns
'partner_ids', 'email_to' and 'email_cc' that are then used in the mail
composer to generate final recipients.
In this commit we better handle the content of email fields to avoid issues
with multi-emails. For that purpose we correctly split the content of those
fields. We now have several 'email_to' for records having multi-emails instead
of a single badly-formatted 'email_to'.

As it already normalizes returned emails some manual calls to 'email_normalize'

Task-2612945 (Mail: Defensive email formatting)
X-original-commit: odoo/odoo@f7add44c28
Part-of: odoo/odoo#134934
PURPOSE
Be defensive when dealing with email fields, notably when having multi-emails
or email field containing an already-formatted email.
RATIONALE
Add tests related to not standard usage of email field. Two main use cases
are tested here
* formatted emails: `"Full Name" <email@domain.com>` stored into the 'email'
field;
* multi emails: `email1@domain.com, email2@domain.com` stored into a single
'email' field;
Additional tests: tests with unicode / ascii / case / wrong formatting are also
added to check the support in normalize and format methods.
IMPLICATION
Email field is generally managed as "containing a valid email". This means
it is sometimes used as it in 'formataddr' as well as to perform searches or
identification checks. Example of issue: partner 'Raoul' has a formatted email
like "Raoul" <raoul@raoul.fr>. Using 'formataddr' in email_from leads to
from: "Raoul" <"Raoul" <raoul@raoul.fr>>
-> which is incorrect (but often dynamically corrected by email servers);
Email field holding multi-emails are not normalized, as current normalize
is done only if the field holds a single email. It means
* no easy finding based on 'email_normalized', e.g. various tools like
'_mail_find_partner_from_emails' or 'find_or_create' do not find partners
based on this email;
* no exclusion list management;
* issue with formatting, like
to: "Raoul" <raoul@raoul.fr,raoul.other@raoul.fr>
-> which is incorrect (but often dynamically corrected by email servers);
USAGE: OUTGOING EMAILS
Those use cases currently generate faulty outgoing emails. This is valid for
recipients ('email_cc', 'email_to') as well as author ('email_from').
For formatted emails: `email_to` is formatted again based on name and email
which leads to sending emails to `"Full Name" <"Other"<email@domain.com>>`.
Note that multi emails without formatting may work as it leads to email_to
`"Full name" <email1@domain.com,email2@domain.com>`. Some outgoing email
servers correctly send multiple emails. It depends on their fault
tolerance.
USAGE: FIND BASED ON EMAIL (NORMALIZED)
When searching for partners (e.g. using '_mail_find_partner_from_emails' or
'find_or_create') normalized version of input is used.
In case of multi emails sanitize is 'False', as normalization expects a single
email in the field. Therefore no partner is found. In processes that do a
"search or create" (e.g. using a template on a record) this leads to creating
a new partner (or several partners in case of multi emails) each time.
USAGE: OTHER FLOWS
Other flows are build on top of '_mail_find_partner_from_emails' / 'create'
of outgoing emails and are impacted by formatted email / multi email usage.
Those include notably
* mass_mailing: '_message_get_default_recipients' should be defensive to
give correct values when creating mailing emails;
* mass_mailing: faulty emails is based on normalize and multi-emails are
considered as faulty and ignored;
* after post hook: '_message_post_after_hook' tries to link messages without
author (but email_from) with newly-created partners, when partners are
created from chatter. It is therefore impacted by those corner cases;
* marketing_automation: built on top of mass_mailing and suffers from the
same issues;
USAGE: UNICODE
Unicode in emails should be supported. 'formataddr' and IrMailServer notably
received fixes to support unicode. Some check performed on email addresses
fail when unicode is involved, which leads to some emails not being sent
while they could.
SPECIFICATIONS
Add tests related to those corner cases. Also add tests for computation of
`email_formatted` field of Partner model. It currently generates wrong email
values for the same corner cases (multi emails, formatted emails).
Tests are also added for the computation of `email_normalized` field used
notably for blacklists. It is not computed currently when being in multi
email mode which prevents from any blacklist mechanism as well as make
email finding harder. `_mail_find_partner_from_emails` tool method is also
tested with multi email as it uses the same heuristic as normalized email
field.
Tests are also added for mass mailing, when having to mail documents that
have a partner with formatted emails / multi-emails, or that have an email
field with formatted emails / multi-emails.
Also restore a test removed at odoo/odoo@afcb734908 while it should have been
updated to state that email addresses containing non-ascii characters are
supported.
Add some tests for tools methods used in various email processing flows.
Unicode tests are also added.
In future commits we will try to make email usage a bit more defensive to
try to lessen issues with that kind of use cases.

This commit makes "Automated Actions" more discoverable and usable by:
- Adding a menu in the kanban header config dropdown to add/edit them.
- Creating a new custom kanban view for a clear understanding of each
automated action record and its associated actions.
- Introducing new "smart" triggers that appear in the form view based on the
chosen model:
- Updated Values category:
- "Stage is set to" when a `stage_id` field exists in the model,
allowing users to select a specific stage value.
- "State is set to" when a `state` field exists in the model,
allowing users to select a specific state value.
- "Priority is set to" (`priority`) where users can select a specific priority.
- "User is set" (`user_id`, `user_ids` fields)
- "Tag is added" (`tag_ids` field) where users can select a specific tag.
- "On Archive"
- "On Unarchive"
- Timing Conditions:
- "After creation"
- "After last update"
- Deprecating previously known triggers "On Creation" (`on_create`) and "On
Update" (`on_write`) to simplify the user experience. "On Creation & Update"
(`on_create_or_write`) is retained and renamed to "On save".
- Changing the `ir.actions.server` Many2one relationship to a One2many
relationship. Automated actions can now directly contain multiple actions,
eliminating the need for an "Execute several actions" action in automation
rules.
- Introducing a widget for the new `ir.actions.server` One2many field for a
clearer understanding of multiple actions.
This commit also enhances the usability of "Server Actions" (`ir.actions`) by:
- Removing the `ir.server.object.lines` model and the associated `fields_lines`
One2Many field. The attributes of the removed model are now merged into
`ir.actions`. An action can now write to only one field, and the create action
is now a name_create action.
- Adapting the form view when creating an "Update the record" action. The value
field shown adapts itself based on the field to update; this field can be a
`reference` field for a `one2many` `update_field_id`, a `one2many` field for a
selection `update_field_id`, or a `text` field otherwise.
- Refactoring the form view to display only relevant details and other
miscellaneous improvements.

The Mail Debug tab is confusing for users and should only be used by
people who know what can or cannot be expected from it. It is not
providing a good preview of the e-mail's rendering since the HTML it
displays is not meant to be rendered by a browser but by all sorts of
e-mail clients. This means that some things that render properly in it
won't necessarily render properly in some e-mail clients, but also
likewise that some things that don't render properly in it will in fact
render as expected in e-mail clients. This is why it's only available in
debug mode but since many users routinely enable debug mode to get
access to hidden features, this is not enough to prevent them from
reporting issues that are not issues.

The tour `mass_mailing_code_view_tour` indeterministically fails:
When clicking on save in the mass_mailing form, it trigger multiple
call to `MassMailingHtmlField.commitChange`. The expression
`await this.props.record.update({[fieldName]: inlineHtml});` will
subsequently temporarily add the class `o_form_dirty`, after the steps
of `stepUtils.saveForm` have been consumed by the tour.
When a tour finishes, some python code (see
`ChromeBrowser._handle_console`) check that there is no
`.o_form_dirty` element in the DOM. As the class `o_form_dirty` will
temporarily be in the DOM:
- if the check happen before the class is added or after it is
removed, the test will succeed
- if the check happens right before the class is removed, the test
will fail
As the timing is indeterministic, the test is indeterministic.
This commit uses `discardForm` rather than `saveForm` (to avoid having
`.o_form_dirty` from being temporarily added upon save)
Using `discardForm` can make a traceback occurs because a `setTimeout`
callback is called trying to use a selection that is undefined because
the document has been removed at the time of the call.
For this reason, this commit also check that the existence of the
selection.

Historically, the web.assets_common bundle was used to contain assets

caused a bunch of issues where people would add things in assets common

These changes are made as a result of simplifying attrs and 'states' in
views.
Before applying the migration script, it is necessary to fix some views.
These views are erroneous and either work by chance or are simply
untested. We have for example wrong domains, elements used by modifiers
but not present in the view, obsolete domain operators, inherit views
not targeting the right views, xpaths using attributes as target, the
use of %(...)s in views, false attribute value types in python.
Part-of: odoo/odoo#104741
These changes are made as a result of simplifying attrs and 'states' in
views. However, they should have remained in a separate commit. When
applying the script making the xml changes (used later for the migration
script), the script checked the definition of the python fields in order
to convert the information into a python expression. Therefore, this
commit is not applied when the script is applied to xml changes.
During this attribute deletion pre-existing errors were found. Part of
the code was using the boolean values of 'states' and another part of
the code was not. The behavior could therefore be different (in cases
where readonly on the field had the same value as the ballan in
'states').
Following the deletion of 'states' and without the application of the
view migration, the js tests (tower) were no longer functional. Tests
using the Form view suffered the same effect. There are few tests that
had to be adapted, including two tests in business accounting (updated
by the accounting team). A test for column_invisible did not work. Test
checking if the test system triggers an error if we try to write on an
invisible field. It turns out that Form was testing on the value of
invisible but not taking into account if the column was invisible. The
test system fix is applied separately because there were a lot of tests
that were incorrect.

This commit removes legacy patch/unpatch functions and adapts their use
by using the modern patch. There was also a custom patch function used
in tests which has been replaced too.

In 16.0 and up, when toggling full-screen mode on the mailing editor
the iframe content is not properly made scrollable.
This is due to the toggle method being triggered 4 times
which effectively cancels the effect.
The reason for it being triggered 4 times is that the check that would
prevent multiple event listeners from being set on the button compares
an existing jquery object to a new one on the same element.
As these are two different references to the same element
they are still different objects and thus the listener will be added
even if they reference the same iframe.
The fix is simply to compare the html elements directly, if they exist.
We also add the expected state of 'full screen' to the class toggle
as it may avoid other inconsistencies from blindly toggling.

This commit removes the legacy implementations of Domain, Context
and the pyjs library. All of them exist in the new codebase, and
the few pieces of code that were still using the legacy ones have
been adapted.

In the commit [1], the patch has been refactored to support the
native keyword `super`. The current commit just adapts the codebase
to that change.
