PURPOSE
Allow alias domains to be multiple, notably to be used in a multi company
environment where each company has its own alias domain.
SPECIFICATIONS
Add 'mail.alias.domain' information on alias model. Aliases do not use global
configuration parameters anymore. Instead they are linked to an alias domain
e.g. 'sales' linked to 'mycompany.com' alias domain: 'sales@mycompany.com'.
It is now considered as a different alias compared to 'sales@mycompany.in'
which has the same alias_name but a different alias domain.
Constraints and checks are added, as
* uniqueness of aliases is now checked inside a given domain;
* an alias name must not clash with its domain bounce or catchall;
* a combination of (alias_name, alias_domain_id) must be unique;
Crm multi-company environment is also updated to match the new alias domain
behavior.
Task-36879 (Mail: Support Multi Domains Aliases)
Part-of: odoo/odoo#76734
PURPOSE
Allow alias domains to be multiple, notably to be used in a multi company
environment where each company has its own alias domain.
SPECIFICATIONS
Add a new 'mail.alias.domain' model storing information previously stored
as a unique value in 'mail.catchall.domain' configuration parameter. Domains
are not completely linked to companies, allowing to have a mono-domain MC
setup, or mono-company multi-domain setup.
A main email domain is present on companies for all default domain computation
when being in that company while keeping flexibility of having other domains
defined.
Now that a new 'mail.alias.domain' model exists we move bounce and catchall
aliases definition directly on this model. Update related computation on
company model. Default_from is also moved on this model, allowing an higher
level default from computation for mail servers when having knowledge of
alias domain environment. Filtering configuration based on default_from_filter
is kept as an ICP as it is mainly used for odoo-bin with smtp-host.
Usage of 'mail.catchall.domain' will soon be completely removed to be replaced
by proposed company-based email alias domain usage.
Constraints are added so that each bounce and catchall defined on domains
do not clash with existing aliases. Sanitize of bounce and catchall is also
performed to ensure they make valid emails. This matches previous behavior
of ICP parameters. Domain name is also sanitized like alias names.
Currently only base modeling and computation is done. Their usage is about to
be gradually added in mail stack.

Task-36879 (Mail: Support Multi Domains Aliases)
Part-of: odoo/odoo#76734
Also impacts mass_mailing_sms, test_mail_sms,
test_mass_mailing
This PR adds support to receive sms delivery reports.
Before this PR, an SMS was considered 'sent' when successfully
handled by the third party. The user couldn't know if/when an
SMS was actually sent for delivery or delivered to the
recipient's device.
This was similar to the behavior for emails as delivery reports
are not commonly used (and not supported in Odoo).
With this work, the SMS `pending` state is introduced in mail,
mass_mailing, sms and mass_mailing_sms contexts although only fully
used in the latter two modules (+tests of course).
Because of the huge cost related to upgrading very large existing
databases, the following compromises were made:
1. An email and sms notification/trace SENT means DELIVERED.
Those that are sent but NOT DELIVERED are PENDING.
The difference between email and sms traces reinforced with this PR
is that an email sent will be counted as "sent" ~ "delivered"
unless an error is returned for emails while for SMS it can only be
reached if a delivery report is received.
2. The Link between an SMS uuid (shared with trusted parties) and
the tracking records (notifications or traces) is done via an
explicit relationship table (sms_tracker) instead of via a new field.
This however allowed to nicely concentrate the state update logic.
A `process` state is added to represent an intermediate
step in the sending process, such as held at IAP for SMS.
A few adjustments are also included to update for IAP api v3.
Also, adapts and includes new tests.

The following summary view of the record in the activity views have been
improved:
- project_task: task state added
- project_project: project manager added
- event_event: responsible and the dates (date_begin_located and
date_end_located) added
- account_move: total amount, customer and state added
- sale_order: total amount and the state added
- purchase_order: total amount and the state added
- crm_lead: customer and stage added
- hr_applicant (hr_recruitment): recruiter added
- survey_survey: responsible added
- maintenance.request: added equipment and responsible
- stock.picking: added scheduled_date
- repair.order: responsible, schedule_date and product_id added
- mrp.production: added responsible
- hr_leave (hr_holidays): status is added and default deadline modified see
below
Ensures that "Schedule activity" is in one line by adding a colspan.
hr_leave activity: When a time off approval activity is created as a
consequence of the creation of a hr.leave, the deadline of the activity is set
to the date_from of the hr.leave minus activity type delay_count (default 15)
except if it leads to a date anterior to today. In that case it is set to
today. That way, in the activity view, the time off approval activities are
more or less sorted by related hr.leave date_from and the cell date is an
indication of when the time off is planned.
Technical note: on most activity view, the activity record was not occupying
all the horizontal space. To solve that problem the css has been modified and
the max-width (200) that was imposed on the sub div has been removed. And as
it was impossible to impose a max-width for a flex div (which is the common
case for the activity record), the max width is imposed on each text that might
be too long using the class o_text_block. That class has been modified to
impose a max-width. That's why that class has been added in most view.
Alternativly, we could have modified the activity compiler to add that class
when the attribute full was set (not done because not sure of the consequence).
Task-3300854
Part-of: odoo/odoo#138135
We add the option to keep the completed activities to allow the user to keep
track of the past action, especially the uploaded files which are displayed
along the completed activities. This feature can be activated per activity
type and is disabled by default.
We also improve the activity view to give a better overview of what has been
done and what is still to be done and by whom.
We also add tests for those new features:
- check activity data for the views (server-side test)
* Details about the activity view improvements:
** Improvement of the column header:
- progressbar: previously, only visible activities were counted in the
progression bar. Now all are counted.
- activity counter: instead of displaying the total count (next to the
progression bar), we display now a ratio as 2 numbers (only if keep done is
enabled):
** Improvement of the activity cells:
- add assignees in activity cells of activity view (limit to 2 having the
activity with closest deadline, if more a + is displayed). Note: to avoid
spacing between avatar, we add the optional props noSpacing to the avatar
component.
- add done activity in activity cell popover
- increase by 50% the popover height
- display done activity cell in grey
- instead of displaying the activity count if greater than 1, we display a
ratio ongoing / activity count. Note: we don't display the denominator if all
activities are done or all are ongoing.
** Progress bar filter
The activity filter is slighly modified. Previously, when clicking on a color
of the progress bar, all cell with a different color where hidden (ex.: if we
were clicking on the green area to filter planned activities, red cell which
represents overdue activities were hidden even if there was also a planned
activities for this record and activity type). Now we also display cells with
other "color" if there exist for that record and that type an activity
corresponding to the filtered "color".
Technical note: mail_activity.get_activity_data returns now for the activity
types a list of dictionary instead of a list of list. This simplifies the
reading as we can now uses name instead of index (type[1] becomes type.name
for example).
Task-3300854
Part-of: odoo/odoo#138135
Generalize the hr.employee activity plan to any model, allowing to create
activity plan that can be launched on any model.
The activity can now be created in batch by selecting multiple record in the
list view and then clicking on a "clock" icon in a row similarly to the batch
records update (selecting multiple records allows to change for example their
name in batch in the list view). We implement also that functionality for the
plan, allowing to launch a plan on multiple records at once.
We also centralize the launching of activity or activity plan through either
the "Activities" button in the chatter or the "clock" button in the view list.
Scheduling activity is now taken in charge by a wizard that can schedule a
single activity as well as a plan. We add/update tests for checking that the
wizard is launched with the right record selection (on a single record or a
batch) and add tests for checking the wizard itself.
The plan can be defined through an added menu in the technical admin menu but
also through configuration menu added in the module crm, project.
Technical notes:
In the added wizard, to determine that there is a error, we introduce the
has_error field because we cannot use easily the error field for that. Indeed,
to determine that there is no error, we have to compare it to "<p><br></p>"
(more precisely <p><br></p>) which is not handy and may
change in the future. This is because when we write False on field error and
read it after, we get "<p><br></p>". Instead, we centralize this weird
comparison in the model in the compute method of has_error.
The ActivityListPopover still displays the activity of the record on which it
has been triggered but the button to schedule activity will launch a wizard
that create activities in batch for the selected records if more than one was
selected. For that, the ActivityListPopover component receives now an
additional prop: resIds (selected records) on top of the resId prop (record on
which the popup has been triggered). Note that when the line that trigger the
popup is not selected, the batch mode is disabled to avoid confusion.
Test are updated because the wizard is opened instead of the activity form to
schedule a new activity and as the form view is only used to edit already
existing activities, default_res_id and default_res_model are no longer passed.
We defines date_deadline and date_plan_deadline in the schedule wizard because
those date are managed differently (default value, required or not, ...).

Part-of: odoo/odoo#137969
'alias_user_id' field allows to set a user when creating records through the
mail gateway. This is however quite wrong and eases spoofing. The alias owner
is not the creator of any record, nor responsible.
Current possible ways of being owner / responsible of records created through
the mailgateway
* when you send an email to an alias: if you are recognized you are already
set as creating user and logged message author;
* it is possible to use alias_defaults notably to set fields like 'user_id'
if you want to be notified / responsible of records created through this
specific alias;
Those usages are therefore sufficient, no need to have another way to spoof
users. Moreover it is hidden in technical view of aliases, no model allows
to configure it by default. Moreover since odoo/odoo@3edf181 no default
value is given to alias_user_id as it adds more (ACLs / creator) issues than
really helping setting up mail gateway flows.

PURPOSE
Simplify 'mail.tracking.value' model and code. Remove unnecessary fields and
computation. Make code easier to handle and more batch-enabled.
SPECIFICATIONS
SPEC 1: prepare all tracking values at same code place
Delegate all computation of tracking values into the 'create_tracking_values'
method. Curently part of it (currency field) is done in the caller. Better
split code per feature.
Method is also made private, as it is not required to expose it.
SPEC 2: cleanup tracking value formatting methods and calls
Code used to display tracking value can be simplified: remove unnecessary
wrappers, make code easier to read, avoid composition of field name but
use a mapping instead (easier to grep 'old_value_char' when it is effectively
used).
Ensure code always calls '_tracking_value_format' to ease future improvements
and have all formatting code being batch-enabled.
SPEC 3: simplify Chatter formatted value structure
'fieldType' is currently added in old and new values. As it is a field
property it can be moved higher in the formatting result to be included
only once. Also add 'fieldName', the column name, to the formatted results
as it will soon help various tool methods. Moreover it makes sense to have
the source of the tracking as the real column name, in addition to its
string and type.

This commit solves a flicker in the action buttons of the activity dialog:
- open project task kanban view
- schedule an activity on a record => this open a dialog
- in that dialog, notice the Schedule button
- click on it
- the button is now, for a small amount of time, replaced by a Save button
(If the network goes bad, it can be pretty obvious. Reproduced with the
network dev tool)
- the dialog is closed
When creating a meeting, the save button would be added to the buttons
for a small amount of time without replacing any other button instead.
By adding the close=1 attribute, the form view of the dialog will no
longer reload after the create call which prevents the flicker.

This commit makes "Automated Actions" more discoverable and usable by:
- Adding a menu in the kanban header config dropdown to add/edit them.
- Creating a new custom kanban view for a clear understanding of each
automated action record and its associated actions.
- Introducing new "smart" triggers that appear in the form view based on the
chosen model:
- Updated Values category:
- "Stage is set to" when a `stage_id` field exists in the model,
allowing users to select a specific stage value.
- "State is set to" when a `state` field exists in the model,
allowing users to select a specific state value.
- "Priority is set to" (`priority`) where users can select a specific priority.
- "User is set" (`user_id`, `user_ids` fields)
- "Tag is added" (`tag_ids` field) where users can select a specific tag.
- "On Archive"
- "On Unarchive"
- Timing Conditions:
- "After creation"
- "After last update"
- Deprecating previously known triggers "On Creation" (`on_create`) and "On
Update" (`on_write`) to simplify the user experience. "On Creation & Update"
(`on_create_or_write`) is retained and renamed to "On save".
- Changing the `ir.actions.server` Many2one relationship to a One2many
relationship. Automated actions can now directly contain multiple actions,
eliminating the need for an "Execute several actions" action in automation
rules.
- Introducing a widget for the new `ir.actions.server` One2many field for a
clearer understanding of multiple actions.
This commit also enhances the usability of "Server Actions" (`ir.actions`) by:
- Removing the `ir.server.object.lines` model and the associated `fields_lines`
One2Many field. The attributes of the removed model are now merged into
`ir.actions`. An action can now write to only one field, and the create action
is now a name_create action.
- Adapting the form view when creating an "Update the record" action. The value
field shown adapts itself based on the field to update; this field can be a
`reference` field for a `one2many` `update_field_id`, a `one2many` field for a
selection `update_field_id`, or a `text` field otherwise.
- Refactoring the form view to display only relevant details and other
miscellaneous improvements.

This commit fixes the ribbons used in `kanban` and `form` views.
The SCSS uses the square root of the parent `div.ribbon` to calculate its
diagonal width and applies that width to the child `span`.
After changing the ribbon's transform-origin, we calculate the ribbon's
position based on CSS variables of the view's top padding, the height of
the ribbon and the shadow's size (to avoid it being cropped by
overflow-hidden).
By changing the values of a few of these variables in the kanban view,
we were able to remove all the specific SCSS related to ribbons in the
modules.
Other changes were applied inside some of the modules to make this
work:
- `event`: padding corrections on the kanban's cards;
- `hr_holidays: replaced `margin:0` in the SCSS with negative margin
utility classes on the element to achieve the same visual result;
- `discuss`: moved the ribbon to the parent element;
- this was also done to `discuss`, `survey` and `helpdesk`;
- `crm_team_view` in `sales_team`: the ribbon's height made it overflow
from the kanban's card. We fixed this by changing the value of one of
the CSS variables in the view's SCSS file;
- the same thing was done in `survey` and `appointment`;
- `website_event_exhibitor` had some SCSS that wasn't being used because
it uses `.o_ribbon` instead of `.ribbon`

1. Install Sales and Studio
2. Open any quotation
3. Trigger Studio and add a signature field to the form
4. With debug mode enabled, edit the field (by clicking on MORE when the
field is selected) and set the Enable Ordered Tracking to 1
5. Close Studio
6. Edit the signature and save
7. No message appears in the chatter to track the value
Solution:
Remove the `tracking` field from binary fields to prevent the user from
trying to track it
Problem:
We shouldn't track binary data in the chatter and we cannot use the
filenames

Previously:
The displaying of the technical menu email would be cut
if you had a zoom of > than 100% on your browser
Currently:
It allows to see the whole content of the message without scrolling.

The type fields of actions already defaults to
the model name in the base model definition.
Therefore, specifying `ir.actions.server`, `ir.actions.act_window`
& so on as type is useless (and adds noise since it's the same as
the action model).

Purpose
=======
The bounce emails aren't stored in Odoo, which can complicate the
debugging of the email sending.
Now, we store this bounce email, and we allow the user to read it from
the interface, so he can easily find the issue when an email sending
fail.
Specifications
==============
The bounce email is stored on the mail notification for standard emails
sending, and on the mailing traces when using mass mailing.
For some email providers (e.g. Yahoo), the "Final-Recipient" header is
not present. Normally, it allows us to retrieve the original recipient
of the email which bounced and then the partner. So if this header is
not there in a bounce email, we take the first recipient of the parent
<mail.message>.
Change the way that we parse the email body, for the bounce email.
For most email providers, the first mail body is the one that contains
the error and the next one contains the parent email body. So, the
current logic might ignore this body for Outlook and Yahoo.

Bug
===
The unlink of the <mail.mail> in the CRON is problematic because we
accumulate a lot of records, and the CRON timeout.
In particular, when we sent a mailing, we receive the "opened" event
(blank image in the email), and so we need to update the mailing trace.
But, if we unlink the mail at the same time, it locked the mailing trace
table and we couldn't write the new value.
The reason for that is that before, the unlink took more queries, but
it was done one record at a time, so we could commit the change and
release the lock between each unlink.
