Before this commit, py_js was unabled to evaluate expressions
containing "true" or "false" (boolean values, JS syntax), which
seems reasonnable for a python interpreter. However in Odoo, we
often use that syntax in modifiers (e.g. required="true"). For
that reason, we need to add those two keywords in the evaluation
context.
Part-of: odoo/odoo#87522
Before this commit, the makeView test helper processed the given
arch and generated the fields to pass to the View component. This
led us to do a similar work as what is done in the view service,
i.e. duplicate code, or factorize/reuse code.
An alternative is to let the View component fetch whatever it needs
(view arch, fields, search view...). This is the purpose of this
commit. That way, the code of the view service is executed (and
thus tested as well) in each test doing a "makeView".
This commit makes that change, and adapts some tests accordingly
(mainly, tests doing assertions in mockRPC, since we do a get_view
in every test).
Part-of: odoo/odoo#87522
Refactor the `load_views` API so it no longer sends multiple times the same
fields description.
e.g.
When `load_views` is called to get the kanban, tree and form views,
the list of fields of the model was sent 4 times:
- Once for each view, with only the fields used in the view,
in `['fields_views']['kanban']['fields']` for instance
- Once globally, with all the fields of the model, in `['fields']`
The goal of this revision is to change that so it sends the list of all fields
only once.
In addition, if a view contains x2many fields,
the fields description of the comodel is also sent.
It was sent in the `views` key of the view fields dict.
e.g.
When calling `load_views` of `res.partner` to get the kanban,
tree and form views,
the `res.partner` fields description was actually sent 6 times:
- Once for each view
- Once globally
- Once for each view of the many2many field `child_ids` of the form view, in
- `['fields_views']['form']['fields']['child_ids']['views']['kanban']['fields']`
- `['fields_views']['form']['fields']['child_ids']['views']['form']['fields']`
The change suggested in this revision is to:
- Remove the fields description for each view in `['fields_views']`.
As it no longer contains the fields,
the key becomes `['views']` instead of `['fields_views']`.
- Replace the dict key `['fields']` by `['models']`,
which is a dict with as key the model name and as values
the model fields description. It contains the fields description
for all models implied in the view:
the model of the main view and the model of all one2many and many2many fields.
With this change, the fields description will only be sent once by model
implied in the view.
In addition, the web client was getting the information about the fields
sometimes in the global fields description list (e.g. `['fields']`),
sometimes in the fields description list of the view type
(e.g. `['fields_views']['form']['fields']`),
making it a pain to try to make changes / performance gain
in these field description dictionaries, because you never knew in which dict
the web client was getting its info.
Now, as there is only one place to get the fields description from,
it's clearer and cleaner.
- one2many and many2many fields views are passed directly in the main view
architecture rather than being put in the `views` key
of the field description.
This is actually easier to treat by the web client,
and this will allow in a future work to cache an entire view in one block
of text rather than having to combine multiple cached blocks of text
to return one view.
- one2many and many2many fields which do not have directly embedded views
have their views directly injected in the architecture,
so the web client doesn't have to do RPC calls to `load_views`
for each one2many and many2many fields not having embedded views.
For instance, this allow to reduce the number of RPC calls to `load_views`
from 8 to 1 when loading the form of `product.product`.
Currently, this behavior is limited to 1 level deep but we consider making it
go all the way down in future works. We did not do it for the moment because
in certain cases it rises the processing time and the size (bytes) too much.
e.g. the sale.order view can be 5 levels deep,
meaning you can reach 4 dialogs on top the main view.
```
sale.order form > order_line > sale.order.line form > invoice_lines >
account.move.line form > asset_ids > account.asset form >
depreciation_move_ids > account.move form.
```
This will also benefit in future works to cache an entire view in one block
of text rather to having to combine multiple cached block of text
to get one view.
- `fields_view_get` becomes `get_view`.
As it no longer returns the fields description,
keeping the `fields` in the name `fields_view_get` no longer makes sense.
Hence removing `fields` from the method name, it becomes `view_get`.
As it gets renamed anyway, we take the opportunity to rename it `get_view`,
which is more in line with the general getter/setter guidelines
in the model object world.
- `_fields_view_get` becomes `_get_view`. For the same reasons than above.
- `load_views` becomes `get_views`.
This is not mandatory, there is no technical reason to rename `load_views` as
it practically sends the same info as before,
the view architectures and their fields description. Just in another way.
We just take the opportunity of this pull request to suggest a cleaner API:
`_get_view`, `get_view` and `get_views`.
- Arguments `toolbar=False, submenu=False` fo the methods
`_fields_view_get` and `fields_view_get` are converted to a kwargs `**options`
in `_get_view` and `get_view`.
The rationale is that submenu was already no longer used (deprecated)
and the mobile options is introduced.
The mobile options is necessary to tell the server to send the mobile views
for x2many fields (kanban instead of tree).
Instead of adding a new argument each time we add a new option to
`fields_view_get`, it seems wiser to have a kwargs `**options` to avoid
to re-write all overrides each time a new option is introduced.
- `_fields_view_get` returned a dict containing the arch in text and some of the
view information. Now, `get_view` returns a tuple with the view architecture
as an `etree` node, and the view as a browse record. The rationale is that all
overrides of `_fields_view_get` were about modifying the arch only
(e.g. changing the address format/re-organizing the address related field
nodes of the partner according to the company country).
To do so, all these overrides were doing `etree.fromstring` to parse the arch
which was sent in text to convert it to an `etree`,
then operations were done on the `etree`,
and then `etree.tostring` was called to convert back the arch to string.
With this change of signature to send the arch as an `etree`,
all these back and forth `etree.fromstring` -> `etree.tostring` are avoided,
allowing some performance gain and less code in the end.
- A cleanup of the keys returned in the dict of `fields_view_get`
has been performed in `get_view`:
- `fields` is removed, as explained above,
- `view_id` is renamed `id`,
- `name` is removed, it was unused by the web client,
- `type` is removed, it was unused by the web client,
- `field_parent` is removed, it was unused by the web client,
- `base_model` is removed, it was unused by the web client.
- `filters` is moved from the global dict returned by `load_views`
(now `get_views`) to the dict returned by `fields_view_get` (now `get_view`)
as it applies only to the `search` view type.
- Retro-compatible methods for the 3 methods
`fields_view_get`, `_fields_view_get` and `load_views` are provided,
with deprecation warnings in them.
- The web client could cache the model fields description
(as it already caches the views),
so it doesn't need to fetch them again if it asks for another view of a model
for which he already has the fields description.
If we do so, `get_views` could return only the list of models used by
the views, without the fields description as of now,
and the web client would then call `fields_get` independently only for
the models for which it doesn't have yet the fields description.
This would avoid the server to return the fields description
and to call `fields_get`, which is costly, for each `get_views`,
therefore gaining performances.
- Inject the views of the one2many and many2many fields all the way down,
unlimited depth level, as explained above.
- Cache with `ormcache` the architecture of back-end views.
This is already done for qweb views, it's not done for back-end views.
Therefore the postprocessing of the views is performed for each `get_views`,
which is costly, while the view architecture doesn't change for users
belonging to the same groups, according to the groups implied by the view.

Previously, updating a component that was mounted out of the DOM would
rerender it and patch it. In owl 1, patched was not called when a
component was mounted outside of the document. This caused crashes when
something done in onPatched depended on something done in onMounted (as
mounted is also not called when not it the DOM, which was handled
correctly by the compatibility layer).
This commit fixes that by ignoring requests to render a component that
is not yet in the DOM as a new render will be initiated anyway when
mounting the component in the document for real.

Without this, `user_has_group` does not work in a frontend context.
The frontend session info seems to have been introduced with minimal
requirements with [1].
It was later populated with more keys, each time when facing a special
need. See [2].
Somehow, the `uid` need was never faced, thus never added, thus
`user_has_group` never worked in the frontend, apparently.
The fact that this method is not working in a frontend context is
something that comes back from time to time without really going
further.
The chance is here taken to fix that once and for all.
Note that we don't want to add the `uid` key in the session frontend
context as that would not be stable friendly, some users might now
relate to that attribute not being set in the frontend context.
This fix is then patching that method to work everywhere.

To reproduce
============
- Create a company with a complete Swiss address (street, city, zip and country).
- Install the l10n_ch modules and install the Swiss plan comptable in the Settings of the Accounting app.
- Go to Accounting > Configuration > Settings > Activate the "QR codes" > Save
- Go to Accounting > Configuration > Journals > Choose the journal for the invoices > In "Advanced settings" verify that the communication type is "Based on invoice" and the communication standard is "Switzerland"
- Go to Accounting > Configuration > Journals > Select your bank journal(s) > Verify that you have set up your bank account number and the name of the bank
- Go to the Contact app > Configuration > Bank Accounts > Choose the one you use for the QR-bills > Edit > In "ISR Client Identification Number" refer a client number and make sure account type is 'IBAN' > Save.
- Verify that you have a complete address on the contact form of the customer (street, city, zip and country).
- create multiple invoices for this client
- try to print QR-bill for these invoices at once -> and assert error is raised
Purpose
=======
the `assert len(outlines_pages) == len(res_ids)` fails because the generated pdf
contains only a single invoice.
this issue is caused by the line `<script>document.body.className += " l10n_ch_qr";</script>` in `swissqr_report.xml`,
when `wkhtmltopdf` generates the pdf from html, it doesn't wait for all javascript to finish before rendering the page,
which lead to not execute the script `<script>document.body.className += " l10n_ch_qr";</script>` for some pages then the final pdf
is missing some pages.
Specification
=============
To solve the issue we removed the javascript block `<script>document.body.className += " l10n_ch_qr";</script>` from the template
and move it to python, by setting the body style when generating the html.

Currently, the timezone offset is taken from the date with reverse
timezone offset applied.
So if there is a change of timezone offset between the wrong date and
the local date, we apply the wrong timezone.
Example:
- be in "Australia/Sydney" timezone
- select date in datetime field 2021-04-03 16:12:34 (at UTC+11)
- save => time becomes 17:12:34
- change time to 17:12:35 and save => time becomes 18:12:35
- change time to 18:12:36 and save => time becomes 19:12:36
- ...
- this issue is happening until 01:59:59 of the following day
Fix:
When we are selecting "2021-04-03 16:01:23" we will get the timezone
offset from the date "Sun Apr 04 2021 02:01:23 GMT+1000" (at UTC+10)
but the DST change was at "2021-04-04 03:00:00 (UTC+11)" with time
becoming "2021-04-04 02:00:00 (UTC+10)".
With this changeset, we are getting the timezone from the local time,
not from local time with reverse timezone offset applied.

The problem is generally due to the use of `var`, this one
https://github.com/odoo-dev/odoo/blob/58a046d2146e884d467cde827f89fa603ed98a3b/addons/web/static/src/js/views/basic/basic_model.js#L1780 followed by an asynchronous call to a function using it
We can therefore summarize the part of the `_applyOnChange` function
that interests us by
```js
for () {
if (field. type === 'one2many' || field. type === 'many2many') {
var list;
...
//using list
...
promiseFunction(list).then(function(){
//using list
})
}
}
```
In the case where we have two one2many which follow each other,
this scenario occurs:
- `list` is initially the first o2m
- the `promiseFunction` is called with `list` (first o2m)
- before the promise is resolved the loop continues
- `list` is `Promise.then()` the second o2m
- the first call to `promiseFunction` with `list` (first o2m) is done
- we enter in `Promise.then()`
- `list` is currently worth the value of the second o2m because
`list` is a `var`
- the second call to `promiseFunction` with `list` is finished
- we enter the `Promise.then()`
- `list` is currently worth the value of the second o2m because
`list` is a `var`
Result: `Promise.then()` is called twice with the first o2m and never
with the second
We can see what happened with this code example:
```js
const array = ["a", "b"];
const asyncRead = async(value) => {
console.log("async function arg", value)
setTimeout(()=>{
return Promise. resolve(value);
}, 100)
}
const forFunction = () => {
for (let i = 0; i < array.length; i++){
var list = array[i];
asyncRead(list).then(function (){
console.log("then async function arg", list)
})
}
}
forFunction()
/*
async function arg a
async function arg b
then async function arg b
then async function arg b
*/
```
While if:
We use `let`
by replacing `var list = array[i];` with `let list = array[i];`
OR
We force the use of `Promise.resolve()` argument
by replacing `.then(function (){}` with `.then(function (list){}`
We will get:
```js
/*
async function arg a
async function arg b
then async function arg a
then async function arg b
*/
```

Before this commit, the action service tried to switch view, but
in the action displayed in the background (since we cannot switch
view inside the dialog anyway). As a consequence, if the action in
the background was a window action with a form view, we opened that
form view, which is absolutely not what we want (different action,
different model...). And if the action in the background was a client
action, it crashed, because we can't switch view in those actions.
With this commit, we simply ignore calls to switchView when there's
a dialog opened.

Previously, when trying to create a custom dialog, one would need to
extend the base Dialog class and configure it directly on the class,
using separate templates for the body and footer as necessary. This is
very unidiomatic owl code, and it is much more natural to simply extend
Component, and use Dialog at the root of the template, giving it slots
and props to configure its properties and contents.
This commit changes the dialog API to work as described and adapts code
that uses it.

When having a subview for a 2many field, if an onchange is triggered for
that field, the default values of the parent are still in the request
context.
To reproduce the issue:
(Need helpdesk_repair. Use demo data)
1. Helpdesk > Configuration > Helpdesk Teams, edit "Customer Care":
- Enable "Repairs"
2. Create a storable and tracked-by-usn product P
3. Update the on-hand quantity:
- 1 x P with serial S
4. Helpdesk > Customer Care (Tickets), create a ticket:
- Product: P
- Lot/Serial number: S
5. Click on Repair and save the repair order R
6. Edit R and add a line in "Parts"
Error: on the new line, both Product and Lot/Serial fields are already
filled with values P and S, which does not make sens
On step 5, when clicking on Repair, the form views of a repair order is
loaded with a specific context:
https://github.com/odoo/enterprise/blob/deef3c967d43862edf02dbcfc461fb89b064731e/helpdesk_repair/views/helpdesk_views.xml#L31-L34
Therefore, when editing the form and trying to add a new line in Parts,
an onchange is triggered but the default values are not removed from the
context. As a result, since the model `repair.line` also has two fields
called `product_id` and `lot_id`, the default values of the parent
(`repair.order`) are used.
When computing the context of a subview, the default values of the
parent should be removed.

The address in a SO report with RTL languages are cutoff, they
overflow the layout of the PDF which makes the address unreadable.
To reproduce the issue:
1. On runbot v15 > make a SO with the recipient in Arabic/Persian/Hebrew language (any language that is RTL)
2. Specify a different delivery/invoicing address than the recipient
3. Print the PDF
Result: Part of the delivery address is cut off
Solution: As for now, two CSS stylesheets are used in the HTML before transforming it to a PDF: *bootstrap.css* & *web.report_assets_common.min.css* (where the latter is mapped in RTL style with RTLCSS). Note that the *web.report_assets_common.min.css* import in itself the bootstrap style BEFORE the RTL mapping. Thus, they both define the `offset-1` class which is used by our problematic component in the HTML/PDF (a `margin-left` for the *bootstrap.css* and a `margin-right` for the *web.report_assets_common.min.css*). Consequently, these 2 margins makes the bootstrap `row` overflow. There are two different margin because the `margin-left` from *bootstrap.css* was translated into `margin-right` in the other CSS when doing the RTL mapping. A quick fix would be to override this undesired `margin-left` and make it null into the sale_report specific CSS style. While it would work, it does not resolve the underlying issue. In normal circumstances, the *bootstrap.css* should not be used into the report. It is in fact included because there is an error into the manifest of the web module (see permalink here-under). The issue comes from a file that was moved during the migration to the OWL framework (see commit 29731b4).
In the end, both fix will be applied on all versions except master. We keep the quickfix in running versions to avoid requiring an update by the client but the quickfix will not be pushed to master.

Field name on sponsor are not required. So when we display the image of a
sponsor without field-name it will use the rec_name 'name' that is not set
and so False.
It will crash during rendering of the widget image that use it.
Now we force to use a field required 'partner_name' to avoid the crash.
By default, when you confirm the sale_order from the backend, we copy
the partner name in field name.
Because we use a class avatar to have a max-width of 96, we don't need
to use a image_512, image_128 is enough in most of case.
The max-width option on widget image has no effect on rendering.
In other case where the rec_name is Falsy and we don't provide other name to
the widget, we now use a default 'name' value to avoid a crash:

Every request comes with a session, a dictionary that is persisted on
the filesystem and that saves various information such as the user
cart on the ecommerce.
When a user simply visits the website, a default session is created and
saved on disk, this bloats the filestore with many sessions. Creating
the session on-the-fly is cheaper than loading it from the filesystem.
With this work the default session is not saved on disk anymore unless
explicitly asked via `session.touch()`.
An exception to the statement "creating the session on-the-fly is
cheaper" is geoip, the ip geolocalization is not cheap. In this work,
geoip have been moved from http_routing/request.session.geoip to a
lazy property core/request.geoip. When requested the info is persisted
on the session. Like other keys from the default session, geoip will not
be persisted unless there is non-default stuff in the session.
Because the CSRF-TOKEN is based on the session-id, it is important the
session-id stays the same across multiples requests even when the
session is not persisted on disk. Even when a session is not persisted
on disk, the session-id cookie is still set so that the next session
created on-the-fly uses the same session-id.
Technical note regarding the session, it has been decided to drop the
session-snapshot protocol and to reintroduce a "modified" flag. It has
been decided not to use werkzeug's session (which natively comes with a
"modified" flag) and to keep our own session object. We decided to
extend MutableMapping instead of dict; using MutableMapping we only
have to override __setitem__ and __detitem__; using dict we would had to
override update()/pop()/... too.

When a filename is given to the function binary_content it was shadowed
by _binary_ir_attachment_redirect_content if it is an ir.attachment.
To reproduce:
1. Start a brand new database in V14, install any app on which you can add an attachment (like Project or CRM)
2. Add a file as an attachment
3. Try to call the route "/web/content/<string:model>/<int:id>/<string:field>/<string:filename>"
closesodoo/odoo#87879
Solution: Use another variable to store the return value of _binary_ir_attachment_redirect_content and use it if the filename is not provided.

`08/01/2022 00:00:00`. If we place our cursor at the end of the
entry (after the hour) and each time we press enter, the timezone
offset is applied (so if offset is +1 it does +1 hour each time)

Current behavior:
In some particular cases bootstrap was throwing an error "Uncaught Error: Please use show on visible elements"
wich appeared on the users screens.
Steps to reproduce:
- Could only reproduce on copy of clients Db
- Go in CRM and go in any lead
- Create a new activity
- Swap to an activity with less fields
- Then quickly put your mouse on the top of a field that just disappeared
- The "Please use show on visible elements" error appears.
Here's a video where I reproduce it on clients Db : https://watch.screencastify.com/v/gksBwwF0McirZzSFwaAP

The odoo.addons.web.controllers.main python module have been splitted
over multiple files on the basis 1 controller = 1 file. In this work we
adapt all modules to use the new imports.
A non-exhaustive list of where stuff have been moved:
* main.Home --> home.Home
* main.Session --> session.Session
* main.WebClient --> webclient.WebClient
* main.clean_action --> action.clean_action
* main.ensure_db --> home.ensure_db
The complete list is accessible in odoo.addons.web.controllers.main.

The odoo.addons.web.controllers.main module was a very long bloated file
where many different controllers were concatened. It proved difficult to
work on that file on a regular basis,mainly because ctrl-p "web main.py"
was not pointing the right file.
In this work the file has been split on the basic 1 controller = 1 file.
The original way of importing stuff (through main.py) is still possible
thanks to deprecated aliases.

Install auth_signup, go to /web/login, 500 Internal Server Error.
auth_signup extends the /web/login template and in this extension calls
`keep_query()` which has been wrongly moved from base to http_routing in

but moved in ir_qweb.
