From e8d9f6b4adb52f5d38246ababc52918df53cba89 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "Louis Wicket (wil)" Date: Thu, 9 Sep 2021 08:41:23 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] [FIX] mail: show the name of the guest who started a meeting MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit The notification sent when starting a meeting used `partner.name` to display the name of the one who started the meeting. Therefore, it did not work properly with guests, for whom no partner is defined, resulting in `False started a live conference` being displayed. This commit fixes the issue by using `guest.name` instead of `partner.name` when no partner is defined. Also change some quotes to stick to the guidelines. closes odoo/odoo#76264 X-original-commit: e00f30f8e0c9344bc81653357c16783f3e1d2511 Signed-off-by: Sébastien Theys (seb) --- addons/mail/models/mail_channel.py | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/addons/mail/models/mail_channel.py b/addons/mail/models/mail_channel.py index d3e66d511d5..5ebed38e927 100644 --- a/addons/mail/models/mail_channel.py +++ b/addons/mail/models/mail_channel.py @@ -477,8 +477,8 @@ class Channel(models.Model): }, }, ]) - notification = _('%s started a live conference', partner.name) - self.message_post(body=notification, message_type="notification") + notification = _("%s started a live conference", partner.name or guest.name) + self.message_post(body=notification, message_type='notification') self.env['bus.bus'].sendmany(notifications) return invited_partners, invited_guests
