From 95d277966aeeea7e08c473ca40fc5cf7de565c74 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Julien Castiaux Date: Thu, 17 Oct 2019 12:09:50 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] [IMP] doc: clarify dep installation for linux MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Someone new to Linux can run into problems when some system dependencies are missing. There is a single sentence warning talking about those hard dependencies and it does not explain how to install them. Added two ยง containing the missing `apt` commands required to install the dependencies on a fresh debian minimal install. closes odoo/odoo#39774 X-original-commit: f7d0022f11d63777eb88bb5f808be3c5ced88fd6 Signed-off-by: Julien Castiaux --- doc/setup/install.rst | 25 +++++++++++++++++++++++-- 1 file changed, 23 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/doc/setup/install.rst b/doc/setup/install.rst index 0dd98f59f92..853f52eb4b6 100644 --- a/doc/setup/install.rst +++ b/doc/setup/install.rst @@ -475,6 +475,14 @@ Enterprise Edition: (see :ref:`setup/install/editions` to get access) $ git clone https://github.com/odoo/enterprise.git +.. note:: Those repositories are quite heavy so you might be interrested only fetching the branch + you need.
